Dr. Sandra Setzer, "Dr. Sandy", is originally from Michigan but has lived in East Tennessee since she was 5. She grew up with two physical therapist parents and had intended on going that route herself until meeting her father-in-law, Dr. Williem Kelley, D.C. While she was a student at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, she experienced lower back and neck pain from "climbing the Hill" on campus, studying, and working retail. Chiropractic care helped with those issues.
After completing her bachelor's degree in Psychology at UTK in 2000. She went down to Marietta, GA to continue her education towards becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic at Life University. In 2004 she began her practice in Knoxville. She began working toward educating people about chiropractic and pregnancy care. This process of educating others and becoming pregnant herself fueled her passion for family and prenatal care in the chiropractic world. She is a certified in the "Webster's In-Utero Constraint Technique" practitioner. The Webster's technique can help to correct breech presentations of the baby and aid mothers in having more comfortable pregnancies.
When not caring for her patients, she can be found spending time with her husband Jason and two children Ian and Avery. Together they enjoy school and sporting events such as baseball and cheerleader.
Dr. Melissa DeTullio graduated New York Chiropractic College in December of 2012. She is passionate about fitness, health, and helping others; and comes from a family of Chiropractors, who inspired her to follow in their footsteps.
Hypocrites, the wise Greek physician, once said: “When in sickness, look to the spine.” So Melissa did, and learned about the fascinating and wonderful healing art of Chiropractic. Her mission is to help promote a healthy and balanced nervous system through safe, specific Chiropractic adjustments to the joints of the spine, so the body can adapt and heal with the greatest amount of potential.
Dr. Melissa loves adventures and the great outdoors, and enjoys anything active, including: hiking, paddle boarding, rollerblading, practicing martial arts, and playing volleyball. Strumming a guitar and singing is near and dear to her heart and she has been known to break into song spontaneously in any environment.
Dr. Nicolas Jubert, "Dr. Nico" graduated from Life University Chiropractic College in 2015. Originally from France, Dr. Nico was exposed to chiropractic early on and decided to move to Atlanta for chiropractic school where he was exposed to some of the best chiropractic education. After a couple of years practicing in Indiana, Dr. Nico and his wife settled in Knoxville where they have enjoyed exploring the region and hiking with their dogs.
Dr. Jubert is trained in many chiropractic techniques including Diversified, postural restoration, cervical and lumbar flexion-distraction, and instrumental techniques to provide care for a wide variety of patients.
Dr. Nico played Rugby for many years and is a former Life University Running Eagles player. He enjoys hiking with his wife, mountain biking, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, soccer, snowboarding, golfing, and ran the Chicago Marathon. Chiropractic helped him heal faster from the many injuries he sustained and gave him a greater understanding of the importance of chiropractic care for athletes and all patients of all ages. Dr. Jubert is a strong believer in the innate healing abilities of the body and is determined to serve as a lead chiropractor to empower and educate the Knoxville community.
