Dr. Marissa Parus, D.C., grew up in the southwest Chicago suburbs. Upon graduating high school, she attended Middle Tennessee State University before transferring to Life University in Marietta, Georgia to fulfill her passion of becoming a chiropractor. While attending Life University, she also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology along with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

Dr. Marissa discovered her love for chiropractic when she was twelve years old after experiencing significant lower back pain due to sustained cheerleading injuries. After enduring numerous doctors, tests, and rounds of physical therapy to no avail, visiting her local chiropractor was her last hope. Dr. Marissa said, “within a few visits I was already in much less pain and was able to keep doing what I loved.”

Dr. Marissa’s story doesn’t stop there though! After developing her own chiropractic journey, she was able to work as a chiropractor’s assistant and help patients get back their health. Dr. Marissa said, “Chiropractic has truly changed the trajectory of my life, and I knew it was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life.”

Dr. Madison grew up in Middle Tennessee and is dedicated to providing chiropractic care to the community that she loves. She began her educational journey at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. During her time there, she began experiencing severe migraines. After months of trying multiple treatments and medications, she sought out care from a local chiropractor. The healing she experienced was beyond her expectation and ultimately led her to change paths and become a chiropractor herself. She transferred to Life University in Marietta, Georgia where she completed a Bachelor of Science Degree alongside her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

Her experiences give her a unique perspective as both a patient seeking quality care and now as a chiropractor delivering this care to others.

Meet the dynamic Dr. Jorge Cardona, D.C.! Born and raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, Dr. Jorge brings a powerful blend of passion, precision, and a deep-rooted belief in holistic healing to the world of chiropractic care. Fluent in both Spanish and English, he ensures that every patient feels understood and cared for in the language they’re most comfortable with. His journey began at the University of Puerto Rico, Aguadilla, where he earned his Biomedical Biology degree in 2019. Determined to deepen his understanding of human anatomy and wellness, he moved to Daytona Beach, Florida, to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida campus, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in March 2024. During this transformative time, his love for chiropractic flourished, solidifying his philosophy of optimizing health by addressing the root cause—focusing on spinal alignment and nervous system function to unlock the body's full potential. Dr. Jorge gained valuable clinical experience while training at Bay Pines VA Healthcare System in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he worked with veterans, treating complex musculoskeletal conditions and gaining firsthand exposure to a wide range of patient needs. Dr. Greg Yaroma is thrilled to begin his chiropractic career in Middle Tennessee. He completed his chiropractic studies at Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2024. He was born and raised in Chino Hills, CA.

After serving in the Air Force for four years, Dr. Yaroma went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from Cal State Long Beach University and then he went to work at the Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center in Long Beach, CA. During his time working in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department, he witnessed the hardship and challenges that chronic spine pain can have on patients. This experience, along with his own personal testimony of the benefits of chiropractic helping with his back pain and headaches, inspired him to pursue a career as a chiropractor to help patients find relief from their spine pain naturally.

In chiropractic school, Dr. Yaroma began to understand that chiropractic care could not only help with spine pain, but also that regular chiropractic care could help people live and function optimally to continue to do the activities they love.

Dr. Greg has a passion for delivering patient-centered chiropractic care to all ages and he looks forward to serving the people of Middle Tennessee. When he is not at the clinic, he can be found spending time with his wife and two children exploring their new home state.
