Dr. Romei Gilmore, D.C., also known as Dr. Gilmore, is a dedicated chiropractor whose passion lies in making a positive impact on his patients' lives. He finds great fulfillment in helping people experience reduced pain, improved function, and an overall enhanced sense of well-being. For Dr. Gilmore, one of the most rewarding aspects of chiropractic care is seeing his patients leave the clinic feeling better than when they arrived, often with a smile on their faces.

A Parker University graduate (December 2023), Dr. Gilmore also holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Alabama. His path to chiropractic was inspired by his strong desire to help others, as well as his family’s healthcare background—his mother and siblings are nurses. Although initially unsure of his career direction after undergrad, Dr. Gilmore discovered his calling when he began shadowing a local chiropractor. That experience turned into a year-long job as a chiropractic assistant, solidifying his decision to pursue a career in chiropractic care. Now, three years later, he is grateful to be in a profession where he can make a lasting difference in people's lives.

What excites Dr. Gilmore most about chiropractic care is its focus on natural healing and wellness. He is committed to promoting health without relying solely on medication or invasive surgeries, empowering his patients to take control of their well-being by addressing the root causes of their health issues. This holistic approach allows his patients to experience real, long-term improvements in their quality of life.

Originally from Alabama, Dr. Gilmore’s upbringing fostered a natural curiosity about different approaches to health, as most healthcare in his community was hospital-based. His personal interests include exercise and spending quality time with friends, both of which play an important role in his life. Exercise is not only a way for him to stay physically fit, but it also helps him manage stress and maintain a positive outlook. Socializing with friends allows him to unwind and enjoy meaningful connections outside of work.

A memorable personal achievement for Dr. Gilmore was overcoming his fear of the ocean by going deep-sea snorkeling. This experience taught him the importance of facing his fears and not allowing them to prevent him from fully enjoying life—an approach he carries into both his personal and professional life. Dr. Gilmore is proud to help his patients overcome challenges and embrace a healthier, more active lifestyle through chiropractic care.
