Before I lived in the Austin area, I would get adjustments regularly. After I moved, I struggled to overcome my anxiety about finding a new chiropractor. After dealing with a particularly stubborn neck issue, I decided to give The Joint a try. The woman at the front desk was very friendly. Dr. Barry was very patient and kind when I started my anxious blabbering. I knew that I was literally shaking, but he was very calm and soothing. He even managed to make a me laugh a few times! I went back a few days later for a follow up, and received the exact same quality of care. I’ve already recommended The Joint (and Dr. Barry in particular) to as many people as I can get to listen. I believe that everybody needs a good chiropractor in their lives, and I’ve found mine here at The Joint - Allandale!

I was just turned away from the office on Burnet Road because they said they do not see patients that need an examination after 6 PM..they only see patients that are “active”. Mind you, it wasn’t even 6pm… close but it was not. Last time I was there was in 2021 and I don’t recall any of the examinations that I’ve had lengthy and at that time I believe they had zero customers in there the lobby was empty and one lady was leaving the exam area.
They had no interest in even asking me if I was in any kind of pain, nor any interest in my well-being. They did not even tell me what the next day business hours were or if I needed to be referred or what not.
As a healthcare practitioner myself I get off work at 6 PM and so I guess I’m screwed lol sorry about my rant, but I absolutely am disgusted with people that are obsessed with numbers & are filled with poor customer service.
I would never let one of my patients leave my work area without at least knowing why they were there and if I had to stay late because of any reason I would have done so.

I saw Dr. Dave Starkey today and his attentions to my back, shoulders, neck and legs between the knee and calf relieved the aches and pains I am dealing with. After my first session, I was able to stand up without experiencing pain and discomfort.
I appreciate the fact that Dr. Starkey did not rush through the session, but paid attention to details, example joints, etc. I was relaxed and am feeling sleepy. A GOOD thing for me. I will be seeing him again tomorrow.

This is my favorite location by far, they know there stuff here and they share it. I've been to other locations and the adjust me and push me out the door. Here I received an awesome adjustments and a bunch of advice that could help me get to the point where I wouldn't need to come in as much. 10 out of 10 will be back!!!!!

I was a bit apprehensive to get a membership from a chiropractic office that's a national chain, since you never know what you're going to get in terms of quality of service. Since moving to Austin and specifically to the Allendale location I'm so grateful to have found Dr. Ty Lamptey. She is the most thorough chiropractor I've ever seen, and even knows how to do manual adjustments for TMJ. Its been such a blessing finding this place.

I have been going to the joint chiropractic for a few years now and this is the best location! There are several throughout Austin and all are very good but the Allendale location is my personal favorite! Dr. Peters is so awesome as well as the other doctors at this location. Staff is very friendly as well! They strongly recommend all safety practices due to Covid and sanitize each table between patients. Eveytime I go to the Joint chiropractic I walk out feeling better and taller! Thanks for making my lower back pain a thing of the past!

I went in for an adjustment today and was told the Doctor would not come out until I was laying face down on the table. Is it just me or is that a little weird? Also the base of all the table were dusty and the carpet looked as though it had not been vacumed in weeks. Alladale location

Absolutely magical! I pulled my back yesterday and was in excruciating pain. I saw Dr. Marc who was very patient with my inability to move. I felt better after, but my back was still very inflamed. I left with some good advise to get through the day. I came back in this morning and saw Dr. Marc. He did more tests on me and was very attentive and reassuring through the adjustment process. I was in intense pain and couldn't function well. I came into The Joint and Dr. Marc told me I slipped a disk in my back. At first I seek out chiropractic care for lower back pain at a different chiropractor but it was way to expensive so I ended up at the joint one day and decided to try it. I loved the price, the quick but attentive service and was hooked. I ended up buying a wellness plan because I realized how much coming helped my lower back pain but also all my joints and posture.
