I went there the other day on Wednesday and whatever doctor was there literally tried to do my adjustment as fast as they could. They literally high fived the front desk person and celebrated when we were finished. Low and behold my neck has been absolutely killing me for two days. I’m a personal trainer and it’s common sense to not rush things that could potentially lead to injury. No shocker that rushing a neck adjustment leads to a tweaked neck. I will not be referring any clients here and suggest a different location.

Went in for a routine adjustment with discomfort in my hip and lower back. The "chiropractor" I saw nearly pulled me off of the table while attempting the adjustment where your legs are yanked. The upper back adjustment left me in an immediate state of shock. it didnt hurt at the time but felt unlike any adjustment of its kind that Ive ever experienced. It was very intense. I left with the office with what seems to be a permanent injury to my upper back. The week after the adjustment, I had a new and terrible pain around my spine between my shoulders. I sought care with a different chiropractic office. That chiropractor confirmed that the area was 'very angry' and asked, 'you had this adjusted when?'. His adjustment provided instant relief that day, however the pain continues to return. I am very disappointed with my visit to the joint. I highly recommend that folks steer clear and that the owner of this location reassess qualifications of those providing 'care'. The woman who performed the adjustment was not Hunt or Cole. She is not introduced on their website at all. Someone from their office texted about a month after my experience to check in and try to schedule another appointment for me. I responded then to let them know everything posted above and that I would not return. I received no response to my text reply. Nada. Crickets... They have my contact info on file but chose instead to respond to my one-star google review months later to save face. It was all of the positive Google feedback that led me to that office to begin with. I am very disappointed, not only with treatment that day, but the poor follow-up. I will not return and am so glad that i did not sign up for a care package while in the office

Came in and the internet was down. Receptionist gave me a hard time about not being able to check me in. I was in a lot pain and there was absolutely no sympathy in her tone. Went to a different location and their internet was also down but they had me fill out my information on pen and paper and saw me right away. This Burnet location clearly needs to be reminded business is still possible even with technical difficulties and that you shouldn’t ignore paying customers who need help.

I’m a very large man who has had problems with small Drs trying to adjust me in the past I’ve actually been double teamed in the past to get a proper adjustment that is not a problem anymore the Dr ( who could have fit in my pocket) just smirked when I told her my past and said why don’t you just lay down on the table and let’s see what we can do for u today and minutes later I was “shaking it off” and felt like a million bucks I would recommend these guys to anyone who has had a past like mine trust me when I say THEY GOT YOU easy efficient and very, very professional

Dr. Cole was absolutely amazing. Before her I went to two different places to get my neck and lower back checked out. And it provided very little results. Not only did she really take the time to listen as I spoke about my pain, she also asked very informative questions which helped get to the root of the pain she was as gentle as possible with any adjustments that I needed but also gave me good ways to treat my symptoms at home and at work. I have been having the worst shoulder pain. I made an appointment and seen Dr. Cole and she was absolutely amazing. Not only did she make my shoulder pain ease up, she also gave me good ways to treat my symptoms at home. The treatment was great, but pretty general in terms of the coverage. As a first time patient I had a very specific knot in my back, but feel like I received very general “across the board” coverage. Other than the one specific spot, my back feels amazing. But the knot is still there. I probably should have gone to a massage place to work out the knot in my back. Again, the staff was extremely friendly and professional, the treatment was great. But for my personal issue, I don’t think this was the right place for me.

I’m greeted warmly when walking in by Michelle, the office manager, who is super friendly, knowledgeable, and keeps me informed of my monthly visits’ balance. The reception and treatment areas, and bathrooms are always clean. Always. Dr. Barry is there during the week, and Dr. Kenny on the weekends. They have other doctors, too. Both doctors’ Barry and Kenny have great healing techniques, are knowledgeable, and have terrific personalities, which puts me at ease. They conduct their assessments thoroughly, let me know what’s going on in my body, and work to increase my mobility. After my treatments, and throughout the week, I feel much better because I can move easier and more freely. Regular treatments are important to me because in the past back and shoulder discomfort and pain have interrupted my greatly interrupted my daily life. Worst chiropractors and management of any joint clinic I've ever been to. Recently I saw "Dr Johnson", who of course is claimed to be great by the wellness coordinators in front, yet whom exerts zero strength and can't crack a dry leaf, then blames his patients. I've been a member for 15+ years, and I have seen dozens of chiropractors, so yes, I know what I'm saying. Kevin the old owner was a disgrace and the new management isn't any better so far.

I had been to many chiropractors before I joined the Joint, and not all of them were good. Some were bad. But I have never had anything but a good adjustment at the Joint. I think they must vet their chiropractors very carefully. And, by going weekly, it’s easier for me to stay pain-free. The only beef I have with The Joint is that, in the past, many excellent chiropractors left, for any number of reasons (to retire to Panama, or to open their own practices, for example). Fortunately, I have not seen this happen in quite some time. I am lucky to now have a history with an extremely talented chiropractor at the Allandale Joint.

Good doc, but there is only one, and his intake for new patient is 45 minutes. (Mine at other location was 15-20). When I need an adjustment I can’t wait 45 minutes. I’ll use another location staffed appropriately.

Save your money and time, go to the location 10 minutes away at Mueller. I’ve been going to the Joint for years and this location has changed a lot. The past three times I’ve gone in, the receptionist has told me they can’t take me due to being “full until close,” or that they’re closed for a lunch break (the door was unlocked…lol). So, the past three times I’ve needed an adjustment, I’ve had to drive out of my way to get better customer service and treatment. The chiropractors themselves change every single time I go to this location, so you never know what you’re going to get. The Mueller location is pretty consistent. Going to this location is not worth the wasted time.

Seems like they basically want you to purchase a wellness plan with a 2 month minimum and the catch is the 29.99 first visit. They spent more time talking about that instead of the patient issue, all the paper work was useless. Not once it was overviewed and mentioned. Totally understand it’s a business but at least show that you care for the patient. Worthless, never going back.

Very disappointed with this place right now. I went in today with back pain, wanting an adjustment, which I have gotten maybe 5 or 6 times in the last 5 years, i fill out the necessary paperwork and as I'm waiting a "doctor" comes out and tells me I can't get my adjustment, tells me this business only deals with clients in the long term, even though they OFFER single adjustment, or have in the past, no, NOW they only treat those who can afford to buy multiple adjustments, or a membership of $79 monthly. I didn't appreciate the hard sell. I dont really have the time or money for that... I'm in pain, I wanted treatment for my pain and this guy basically just told me to get out or pay up... never coming back.

This place is hit or miss on the doctors. One or two of them are really good and the others cause more harm than good. They hassle about paperwork and require continual updates of unnecessary personal information before visitation. This goes again their advertising of a five minute visit. Follow Up to Owners Reply: I was in the office twice that week already and therefore the excuse of out of date paperwork is not valid. I needed to return for the third time because the first time I was there I was left worse than when entered. The second time was good and the doc recommended I return the next day to fix any remaining items. Upon that return I was given nothing but resistance from the doctor -- who was the only one in the office with no supporting staff.

Omg. The high pressure sales is just deafening and intoxicating. I needed a quick fix and came once before about 2 years ago. I remembered why I never came back. I just wanted relief! The only reason I gave more than one star was because of Ruby at the front desk. She was super nice and gave me some helpful suggestions, unlike whichever doctor I saw. The Dr. came in and immediately told me that she hadn't read the paper work I had taken the time before I went in to complete. She was abrasive and seemed only to be able to focus on the fact that I needed to keep coming back if I wanted to get any long term relief, which I 100% understand, but at the same time she did not really elaborate as to what was going on in my back besides a few off hand 'nerve damage' comments. As soon as I told her I had a tingling sensation in my back the only thing she focused on was my continued return to her practice. What really put me off to the whole experience was when the treatment was over and she was speaking with Ruby I heard her say (and I'm only slightly paraphrasing) "I just can't help these people that come in and say they can't afford to come back multiple times a week (at $40 a visit). What do they honestly expect?" Honestly, I in no way expected my problems to be fixed, more than anything I just wanted to understand what was happening. What I could do at home to help manage my pain. I got none of that from her. Now, sure, I could have asked her these questions, but she seemed like she had better things to do than help someone who, at this place in time, can't afford to come back everyday. Not only that but I had no desire to stay in that place any longer than I had to. Shout out to Ruby though, she was great.

I had multiple rib heads out again that were causing discomfort and pressure whenever I moved my upper body or inhaled. I got a coupon via email for The Joint, so I figured, "Heck, I'd rather be able to work tomorrow and breathe." so I went in. The wait was kind of long, but it was an unforeseen influx of new patients, which I completely understand. However, during this wait, either the manager or the owner was maybe training the front desk person, and spelled out a patient's full name and went over their treatment plan out loud in the lobby, which I'm pretty sure qualifies as a HIPAA violation. Then, apparently while I had gone back to start my appointment the same man who did this makes fun of their sign spinner outside for wanting breaks to the clients waiting in the lobby, which is incredibly unprofessional. Then the part that left a really bad taste in my mouth: Dr. Marc, I get you're a chiropractor and touching people is your job. But could you please not lift my shirt half way up off my body, touch me, and then write on my body without maybe asking me something first? I wouldn't have argued, just ask! Also, please don't try to speak to me like I'm a child and don't understand posture or joint movement. However the Wellness Coordinator, Ruby, was fantastic. She showed genuine concern for my complaints about my pain and was very respectful. I will note, I went in with a problem, and for the most part it was fixed, which I'm happy about. I will not be returning, and be searching elsewhere for follow up care.

The doctor here really knows his stuff and did a great job. He was able to pin point what was causing the issue and gave some extra exercises and stretches to help alleviate the pain.

Both of the chiropractors here are excellent. I’ve been to The Joint all over the US and these were my favorite 2 chiros of all time. They took so much time to really get those good cracks in, educate us more and give my fiancé exercises to do at home to help his migraines. Dr. Marc Fitzpatrick is simply the best chiropractor I have ever been treated by, and I have been getting adjusted since I was a baby.
