Dr. Vince Bellonzi’s journey to learning everything wellness began after working aboard merchant ships for years. In an effort to better his own health, he studied massage and personal training. After witnessing different treatments and discovering what was working, Dr. Bellonzi ventured into nutrition and sports conditioning. This led to his pursuit of a doctorate in Chiropractic, which he achieved in 1991 from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He has worked as a chiropractor in Los Lunas, NM, Corpus Christi, TX and Austin, TX.
He joined the Joint family in 2014 at our Southpark Meadows location. The best thing about chiropractic care, according to Dr. Bellonzi, is helping people improve their lives. “I want to help people be healthy not just manage their disease.” -Dr. Bellonzi He demonstrates his need to help people be healthy in everything he does. He also has a five star rated book on Amazon called Health Recklessly Abandoned where he goes into more depth about how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
In his spare time Dr. Bellonzi likes to farm, and of course, enjoy a good beer at the end of the day. Guest at his perfect dinner party would include Albert Einstein and Clint Eastwood. He says the coolest thing he has ever done was swim with dolphins.
Dr. David Aguilar has a DIplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Neurology. He studied chiropractic at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, TX. After practicing in New York, NY and Brooklyn, NY, he moved back to Texas and settled in Austin. He joined the Joint team in 2017. His favorite thing about working for the Joint is “working with other extraordinary chiropractors.”
Dr. Aguilar’s hobbies include photography and spinning wool into yarn. He is also an aquarium enthusiast, owning several freshwater fish. He also likes traveling and camping with his family. According to Dr. Aguilar, getting married and having a child is by far the coolest thing he has done in his life. “There is no event in my life that brought me such joy and elation. There is no part of my life that has brought me such an understanding of who I am and who I can become. Nothing in my life has challenged me to improve as much as I have.” -Dr. Aguilar
If Dr. Aguilar could throw a perfect dinner party, he would use the opportunity to get answers to questions we have all had at one point or another. He would invite the architect of Stonehenge, the designers of the Nazca lines in Nazca, Peru and Plato. Why were these things built and what really happened to the lost city of Atlantis?

He is well traveled having been to multiple countries in North, Central, and South America, Europe, and Africa. Although no longer fluent in German, Dr. Chris still enjoys it conversationally.
Using chiropractic to bring mobility to fixated joints, Dr. Chris enjoys relieving suffering from his patients and helping guide them towards decisions that will help keep them moving longer. He encourages his patients to remember that the human body is exceptional at meeting and overcoming new stimuli – so feed it good food and introduce it to new movements, new activities, new people, and pursuing things that bring you joy. He also wants to remind his patients that while the human body is amazing, you only get one! So keep yourself conditioned so that your body will be prepped and ready to meet all the new challenges you throw at it!
