I came by on Saturday. It was 4:05 pm. They close at 5:00 pm. The front receptionist refused to take me in. I asked to speak to the Dr. I was told they could not see me that I had to wait until Monday - I think they meant Tuesday - since Monday is Labor Day. They had ample time to take me in. I guess the Dr. was just being lazy and wanted to start his Memorial Day weekend.

Recommended by someone since I wasn’t aware there was one in town. Dr. Michael is the doctor I prefer to see. Just from sitting in an office chair for too long. I like to go in and ask for a realignment. Probably need to additionally lose some weight and do stretches like in yoga. That sitting in a chair all day without being able to leave is quite an uncomfortable thing. All the other doctors are fine as well. The office is clean and the walkin time isn’t a long wait.

Dr. Arroyo is great, I was treated by him 4 times. On my 5th visit Mr. Flores arrives late, unfriendly and unprofessional and tells me I should never have been treated there at all. I disclosed all my medical history to the receptionist and Dr. Arroyo on day one. I even provided an MRI. And now this rude lazy doctor says no. I called to request all my documentation I was told that the office manager would be calling me. Well, the office manager took the cowardly way out and instead just sent an email and backed the rude and unprofessional Mr. Flores. Pathetic

I called “The Joint” on October 09, 2023, at 11:11 am, regarding becoming a new member and registering, the receptionist who answered the phone was very rude, and didn’t not want to provide any information. When I let her know I was hard-hearing and couldn’t hear her, that bothered her as well. I felt like I was ordering a meal at a Mcdonalds. “Anything else, is that all?” I then called the Harlingen location and wow, what a difference, the receptionist was helpful and nice. Now I know where to go when I register for The Joint.

Lack of transparency. They do not tell you you that their walk in anytime policy excludes new patients. Very poor customer service. The receptionist speaks to you with a face of contempt.

Went in with right shoulder pain and minimal movement. After 2 visits I have better movement. Great staff as well.

The consultation was not comprehensive at all, I had a few adjustments and left feeling the same. I feel like they use a cookie cutter method and hope u come back to see them again. Definitely won’t be going back

Was in town visiting family and needed an adjustment, this location is great. Dr Arroyo brought me back swiftly, knew my hometown Joint dr’s notes and followed along with care. He’s probably one of the best chiros at a Joint that I’ve seen…and I’ve visited several locations throughout Tx.

I’ve been going to the joint since it opened here in Brownsville. It’s a great place but they are often rotating Drs which can be a little annoying. Anyway on 1-9-2021 I went in to have an adjustment with Dr. Kelsso- I’m not sure I’m spelling that right- Excellent Excellent Excellent adjustment . I have never felt better. He doesn’t say much but he knows what he is doing. Love his work hope he stays for a long time. ??

Went in for the first time yesterday evening due to upper back pain and neck stiffness. They had me lie on my sides and twist... and that was it. Probably 10 minutes total including consultation. I went in with high expectations and left wondering what I had payed for. Reception was very nice and attentive though.

This is the first chiropractor care that is easily affordable without any insurance. I dont like making appointments so their walk in only policy is perfect for anyone who wants to get care TODAY. Out of all the doctors that contract in and out of this business I highly recommend, Dr. Ptachik first if available; his years of experience show with any complaint ot comment you have about your health or the business. He has both a gentle touch that anyone would enjoy their first time coming in but also a more forceful touch for people with more or frequent pain. I love this doctor and hope he is always available for me and my family. If he is not available I recommend dr. Rotusinni or Dr. Moore, amazing chiropractors!!!!

My hips were out of place and as a regular customer I go for an adjustment. Dr. John Ratusny (a real Rat) refused to adjust me because I had been in the hospital 3 weeks prior with bronchitis. What a jerk! I cancelled my membership and will never recommend this place in Brownsville.

I payed initial visit for nothing. The Dr. wasn't able to help me he referred me to another Dr. yet they charged me so I payed to be told my back is stiff and I need someone else help. Total disappointment. Edit: Nobody called me after my initial visit only AFTER i made my google review they said they called but never did. It’s ridiculous that now a days you only have a voice if you post a bad review.
