I use to go to Dr. Pham on Yale years ago, but he was no longer working due to an accident from what I was told by staff. It took me some years and tried different locations until I came across the San Felipe location. Dr. Robin was amazing, bjt when I went back she was no longer with the company which was disappointing because she was really good. Dr. Tran is amazing and helped me so much. I was having a difficult time with other Joint locations not caring enough to really help with the problem. The receptionist, Valerie, and Dr. Tran helped explain everything to me and ensured that I was taken care of. If I had known they would care this much I would have made this my favorite location. As long as Dr. Tran is there I will never go to another Joint location. This one is the way to go! Update: Sadly Dr. Tran is no longer there and I’m faced with the same issue I’ve had at all the other Joints that I stopped going to. I’m in serious pain, the visit was rushed, I was just another subscription to them and he kept pointing at a chart explaining things to me but he didn’t even really listen when I was trying to explain the problem. He didnt even bother to look to see how many times I’ve visited or what the issues were previously. Don’t get me wrong, the adjustment was nice and he did focus on the areas that were bothering me, but he didn’t leave me with any stretches I could do to help the pain or any advice that could help mitigate the pain in between adjustments. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the receptionist was super nice and helpful, and honored the military discount for the 3 month minimum you have to sign up for, and the adjustment was helpful. Unfortunately now I’m on to looking for another Joint yet again that will hopefully take more time to understand.

Horrible customer service. My husband just left attempting to cancel his services due to us moving the state. The rep gave him nothing but trouble and belittle his understanding of your policy. Apparently to cancel his services we have to drive to a location even further from where we are to cancel - once she rudely explained to him she also let him know it will be “up in the air” regarding a refund. Let me preface this by saying my husband has had all of 2 appointments in sugar land and the rest being at this location. We attempted to give The Joint a chance even after hearing all the horrible reviews and yet to be treated this way. I stopped going months ago when I was also treated horribly by this company. He was also told the girl “daisy” wasn’t properly trained which is why he he was charged again - yet a refund is “up in the air”. This is how this company treats their patrons due to us MOVING. HORRIBLE

Came into this location for the first time and will definitely be back to sign up for more sessions. The chiropractor was great but I loved the humor from the girl at the front desk. Her name is Liz! Full lobby of patients and everything was organized and each person received acknowledgement and was seen in order even with people waiting in their cars. Dr.Vo seemed very nonchalant and robotic. My partner and I came in she had some neck issues. He didn’t fully answer her questions and addressed her body as a whole with no specificity to the painful part of her body. I got a basic alignment which felt very short. Not a typical visit to the joint for me. We are looking forward to meeting Dr.Rion this week I’ve heard great things.

I was flying into town from Los Angeles and Only had little time to find a chiropractor. Shoutout Dr. Rion Black. I’ve never met somebody so young and professional. When I think of the Joint I think about McDonalds, but the service that Dr. Black provided was beyond exceptional. Dr. Rion also was just a cool guy. If you’re looking to get adjusted, but don’t know where to go, book an appointment with Dr. Black. I am more than confident to say Dr. Black is going places! Just a side note, while calling from the airport I had originally talked to a rude lady on the phone named “Liz.” Her snappy tone is’t going to get her anywhere.

I come here often, Dr. Rion Black is the best. However, today he wasn’t in and I was greeted by a very heavyset RUDE woman named LIZ who clearly was having a bad day. I expressed I was coming to get my last treatment based on my 4 monthly treatments that I PAID FOR. She expressed my treatments don’t roll over the next month, and didn’t really care to further explain why I wasn’t informed of this. I was clearly confused by this information but she didn’t care to truly help me. Therefore I asked to speak to someone higher than her such as the doctor who wasn’t Rion Black, because I didn’t understand her energy at all lol, but it’s obvious what the problem was LOL. She only spoke to me like this, not the other “woman” in the clinic…. Which raised red flags. To further prove her point, she decided to print out my contract and told me “I can go”. I addressed her rude attitude and told her to relax, she said “you haven’t seen attitude”. I then told her I want to speak to someone else, she told me no. So I walked up to the doctor, and asked to speak to him outside because her attitude was gross (she kept laughing during this ordeal). She continued to follow me as I’m talking to the doctor, again VERY VERY WEIRD. Not only did this situation make me beyond uncomfortable, but issues like this need to be addressed IMMEDIATELY as individuals like this should not be representing the brand nor talking to any customer this way. Liz needs to not only be disciplined but fired if this is how she talks to all women who appear like me. Not only did she barely make eye contact, but was already on edge the moment I walked in and also on her phone. Very unprofessional. I won’t be back :))))

I was visiting Houston for work and Dr. Rion gave me a very good adjustment. Driving from Dallas to Houston you just get tossed around in your car like a ragdoll with the quality of Texas roads. I was not feeling well at all when I walked in. I felt very good when I walked out. Typically, I visit The Joint in Tulsa, Oklahoma. However, my single experience at their Houston location was far superior. Instead of the usual two minutes, I received over five minutes of adjustments and advice. It was truly a great experience.

If your looking for a consistent routine in your medical care I would not suggest the joint. It's always hit or miss depending on when you go and what location you go. I have seen a different doctor almost every time I've went. You can get an established routine going with one doctor for a few months but then suddenly you have a new one ams the other one is gone. The business model is built around churn and burn. You could possibly wait around from 15 to 45 min depending on if there is a new patient since they really want to spend a lot of time selling that membership. The doctor is usually over worked and the client ends up waiting to get seen. I have seen some really good doctors at many different joint locations only to find out on my next visit they were gone. Seems the only ppl benefiting are the owners.

Worst Customer Service I’ve ever encountered. If i can give zero star it’s just it won’t let me. Front desk customer service Cherry full of lies. I called last week to canceled my account. She was the one who answered me over the phone and told me to come by the office in San Felipe to filled out some paperwork. Fast forward then i swung by the office for cancellation purposes and the She told me I’ll get charged first before they can cancel it. What?! I said there’s no way I ask her who answered me over the phone last week. She said she didn’t know who answered my call last week and told me to come to the office. Bad for her i was able to retrieve the voicemail she left on my phone. So i ask her who’s this and then she answered that’s her. Got caught! Another lies, She said She didn’t know my account was froze. Well, She already knew because while talking with her on the phone last week She pulled up my account on their computer. I will never going back to this facility or any facility owned by Joint Chiropractic. But it’s up to you guys. When you ask me about the service with the Chiropractors i would say it’s alright not the best

My first experience at The Joint went well and I have to say it’s because of Dr. Pace. She took the time to talk with me about my particular issues and ailments. She prescribed what would work for my needs. The environment is clean and location is convenient. I would give it 5 stars if new patient paperwork was sent electronically prior to scheduled visit. And if they did in- house X-rays.

Wish they were more like my previous chiro office who would actually call if an appointment hadn’t been set up in a while since the service was paid for. Over $200 paid, the chiro has slipped my mind with all of the life changes, including job loss, but unable to cancel without paying for another month of the service I’m not using. ? Disappointed at the lack of initiative and service. I get a call because I missed a payment by a day but they won’t call to inquire as to why I haven’t been back since my first and only appointment, 2 months ago now. Also the adjustments themselves are a bit unusual and uncomfortable and the decrease of pain was minimal. Only good thing I can mention is the convenience of evenings and weekends.

Dr. Kintz was awesome! He didn't rush through my adjustment, he really took the time to do a full body assessment and determine the areas where I was having issues. The day I walked into the Joint Chiropractic office I was in extreme pain. Even just sitting in the waiting room I had sharp pains like knives going into my back. Even though I was in such extreme pain I found myself thinking about how kind and helpful the staff was. I was walked through what I needed to fill out for the forms for my first visit and the lady that was at the desk just had the biggest smile while helping me. I felt as if she was genuinely happy to help me. Once I had filled out the forms, I was asked to have a seat while the doctor was finishing up the current patient. My wait was maybe 5 mins “although with the pain I was in it felt like years” haha but only 5 mins had passed and it was my turn. Dr. Dedeaux walked up to me and just like the wonderful lady at the desk greeted me with a big smile and warm energy. Dr. Dedeaux even went as far as to volunteer to carry the backpack I had brought in with me to the spot she was gonna work on my back. Not even a second thought, she just took the initiative. The Dr. could see the amount of pain I was in. Even just getting out of the chair was difficult and so painful. So she took extra care when it came to evaluating the extent of my injury. Dr. Dedeaux asked me questions about my past injuries and a few other topics. Once that was out of the way and she had done her evaluation of what needed attention, she got to work. She was able to pinpoint the trouble areas via her process of testing certain muscles and their strength levels. I was amazed at her ability to locate what areas were causing the issue and how she was quickly able to resolve the problems. The session wasn’t longer than 10-15 mins and by the time she was done I had more range of motion compared to when I walked in. During the session with Dr. Dedeaux I felt she genuinely cared about me and my situation. She truly wanted to help me feel better and get back to %100. After I had paid for the session, I was leaving and as I got to my car I stopped and decided to see how much improvement there was. To my surprise the pain wasn’t anywhere near what it was. I felt so much better that I even had to walk back into the office and let the lady at the desk know how much of a change there was compared to when I first walked in. Dr. Dedeaux and the staff were just amazing. I have been there twice now and it is night and day. I hadn’t been able to sleep because of the pain, and after two 15 mins sessions I got a fulls nights rest last night. I couldn’t be happier!

I love Dr. Kristin Dedeaux is amazing she is intuitive, detailed, explains things makes you comfortable, give options but most of all is trustworthy. I've been seeing chiropractors for over 30 years & especially now with the landscape changing with how adjustments are performed depending on who you're seeing...you can trust whatever method she uses will produce the best outcome! I feel better, longer EVERY TIME I see her! My only compliant/desire is with the joint overall. They have no app or comprehensive web portal what I as a client can keep track of/manage billing preferences, visits or so on...there is so much potential for a great way for such an health minded company to connect with their patients....maybe look at who does Massage Envy's app...it works well.

Dr. D was very good. I was having a lot of pain on my right hip from the night before and was limping. She did an adjustment and felt better right away. I had to put ice on that area per her guidance but today I feel a lot better and I am not limping like yesterday. She asked me to return this Friday and I plan to do so! Excellent work!!

Don't come to this location! Try the one in RO. We went in on a Saturday as a new patient and we called in to let them know we were running late and will be there at 4:10pm and they were fine with it. Once there, Dr. Kristin DeDeaux and her receptionist rushed us to fill out the paperwork with a nasty attitude and I let Kristin know how unprofessional she is and she then changed. While there, they turned down 3 established patients at 4:30pm because they were closing at 5pm and "were busy with us", but we finished at 4:40pm. What a waste of our time and money!

I’m just very upset right now!!!! I was forced to come to this location because the S. Rice/Dr. Stroops location was closed down. Even though Dr. Stroops assured me I was in good hands at this location, I wanted to close my membership. Instead I went to this location to freeze it, but I still had some visits available so I got one. Now Dr. D was really nice but she did an adjustment very roughly after I mentioned during the appointment that, “this side doesn’t move.” I know my body and after she did the move, I felt my spine move for the first time ever. This all happened on 6/13, here we are today (6/17) and I’ve been in pain for days!! My lower back is on fire! I’m so afraid that something is ruptured and I’m contemplating going to Urgent Care right now. It hurts to sit and pressing the spot on my back causes immediate pain. This would’ve never happened to me had you all not closed Dr. Stroops location!!! I’m for sure cancelling my membership now!

Came in for a single adjustment and was rejected because it was a full hour to closing. The clerk explained that a new patient assessment takes 30 mins. Last time I checked there is still time in a hour even if the assessment took longer than 30 mins. Rejecting someone in pain is ridiculous and shows just how much this business doesn’t care a single bit about its patients. Then was basically handed a pitty card to come back for a “free” assessment next time. I literally have surgery for my pain and was denied a adjustment to relieve pain before said surgery. You can take your free assessment and keep it. Terrible way to make business because you won’t have mine. Goodbye ??

Been going here for a few weeks to a month with a dislocated coccyx. Have had a constant pressure and pain going down both my legs, told the chiro there everytime I came in I felt the pressure and pain going down both my legs. She does the same adjustments she used to put my coccyx back in place and then tells me come back tomorrow. I went back despite being in agonizing pain and it was busy. I was 3rd in line and waited 45 mins when I was told to begin with 15 mins but I gave a 30 min grace period and 45 mins later and only 2 people being seen before me took 45 mins! I go, my adjustments don't even take 10-15vmins but over 22 mins for each patient as a walk in!? Chiro talks all the way through your appointment. im at the point where I've come to terms no matter how many visits I get I will always walk out with pain and my issues will never be resolved with the joint chiropractic care. Went to a different location almost a year ago and thwy dislocated my shoulder. If you're looking for quality chiro care go to an office that offers more services and is by appointment only. It will be so much the worth while if you really are in pain. Unfortunately I'm stuck with 2 more visits because I got the wellness plan.

To be fair, Dr Boecker is a good chiropractor, just not a good business owner. The business model of The Joint Chiropractic is dishonest. I did my 1st visit, paid the introductory price, was given a treatment plan to follow, was introduced to their payment models, was allowed to think about it before my next visit. I came back for my second visit, electing to purchase a 10-visit package, then AFTER my treatment, was told "by the way, you can't use your package deal today". I tried speaking to Dr Boecker about how my intention has always been to follow the treatment plan, however Dr Boecker did not care to listen to my concerns nor attempt to remedy it - his response was "take it up with corporate". Ultimately, I paid the walk-in price, but I feel cheated by dishonest advertising (was told I can buy and use package rates, then after treatment told I cannot). Although I felt the treatment was good, if they can cheat me with $30+$45 in, how much more will they cheat me when I am hundreds in? The doctor-patient relationship should be built on trust, this is not a trust-worthy institution. *********EDITED REVIEW*********** The Director of Operations Dr Pham reached out to me. He was very professional about how there must have been a misunderstanding, stating that their business is not built on trying to scam customers. I can see that, it doesn't make sense for any business to refuse money (I wanted to pay them $300 for the 10-visit package, but they chased me away by insisting I pay $45 for this current visit - anybody with a business mind knows $300 and repeat business is better than $45 period). This place will fit for those who have mild or moderate issues with the spine. As person who literally sitting for 9 hours a day I know that you can get pretty high level of pain even with moderate missalignment in your spine. I personally follow with rule of 3: 1) - push the mussel (with fingers or massagers) where it hearts most until pain gone (can take days or weeks) 2) Put back your spine by visiting hiropractor ideally no more one adjustmen course in 6 month. 3) Exercise but mainly with stretching and non snipe axial load (yoga is perfect option). So I can definently reccomend this please for adjustments as one of the steps for recovering. I enjoyed every visit with Dr. Kenneth Boecker and my back and neck getting better and better.. Come here if you are hijabi! Dr.Jackson is incredibly interested in Islam. He felt it was appropriate to use his finger to tap the back of my head twice, while laying face down, to ask what’s the significance of “that”. He asked where I was from and why I wore it. When I explained I was Muslim and it’s to conserve my beauty he said I was tricking men by not showing what my face and hair look like - a CLASS ACT! The session was incredibly uncomfortable and I will be cancelling my membership. **update** After speaking with the owner who was incredibly apologetic and advising he will attend a diversity and inclusive training (don’t know how I will measure that) and this must’ve happened because he thought he was still in the locker room (oookay). Hoping this has been resolved.

Dr. Jones is the worst. Do Not Go to the San Filipe Location. I am EXTREMELY upset. I came in with small pain and left in more pain. The adjustment was terrible and she literally missed the mark causing excruciating pain in my back. She is very careless and rushed through the adjustment so fast she didn’t even do all of the exercises. I am appalled and I do not recommend anyone see Dr. Jones. I have new pain that I didn’t have before. Not acceptable

This was a horrible first impression. Went to the website first and filled out their promo to try it out and it said walk-ins welcome. When I walked in I was not greeted very nicely. Real abrupt, asked if I had an appointment, then pointed to a Covid sign n told me to read n answer 4 questions. Then handed me a clip owed n told me to sit down. There was no explanation of the place or service not a warm greeting. Although irritated I continued to fill out the palate work then half way through finishing the paperwork a girl approached me and said “ we have appointments so you will have to wait awhile” I immediately said never mind and walked out obviously upset. No one tracked me down to apologize nor called. Very unprofessional and cold environment. I gave it another shot at a different location on Yale and 21st in the heights and so far we area off to a great start! Was created and had the entire process explained to me by a young women named Jennifer who was amazing and very informed and aware of the customers in the lobby.

Treatment feels amazing however, the wait time is very long no matter what day or time you come here, I m assuming this is due to the fact that they only have 1 person adjusting all the time. YOU GUYS NEED TO HAVE MORE DOCTORS!!! I have here yesterday and wasted 35 mins only to find out it will take another 20 mins, Also the person at the front desk always tells you 25 min wait no matter how long the wait is, i have been here since the past 38 mins now and I was told 25 mins wait time when I checked in. I will most likely cancel my monthly subscription.

Sorry in advance for the length of this review. Acouple of years back I suffered a mountain biking injury to my elbow that left me in chronic pain and limited mobility. I never thought I would be able to have the range I had before until I started coming here. Doc took a look at my elbow on the consultation (originally came on for my back) and said we can work on this too. I sit at a desk and computer all day so my posture wasn't going to get any better on its own. Now feeling great. Have movement in my elbow I'm even looking forward to playing tennis again. A game I thought I'd never be able to play again. Worth every visit. Changed my life.

There are pros and cons to every service. The receptionists were always kind and helpful. The Chiropractor’s on staff were helpful And created treatment plans towards the patient’s needs and injuries. I did like receiving treatment from the same chiropractor as much as possible to determine healing and treatment. Sometimes lines would build up during rush hour but that is to be expected everywhere.

Dr. Trevor Schoessow (Galleria) is excellent. Visits to The Joint are a bit shorter than the fancy chiro offices that you pay x3 for; that's the nature of the business model. But as a patient with a fusion and some challenging pain issues, Dr. Trevor is literally the reason I can walk upright and sleep at night.

Thank God that, despite all of the changes and facelifts (no pun intended) this place has made in the 2 years that I have been coming, Dr. Trevor is the ONE constant. He is, QUITE LITERALLY, the ONLY reason I not only have a MEMBERSHIP, but come to this location AT ALL. it's really not just his skill... But, let's face it, he's pretty darn amazing in that capacity, but his personality as well... He's blunt, and funny, and charismatic and, and sarcastic... It's just a really good time when I'm there! This is my go to location. I’ve been to a few different ones. They all have their pluses. But my favorite is Dr. Trevor and the Galleria team. Clearly knows his craft and really cares about his patients/clients. He has high demand, but for good reason and worth the wait. Swear it seems he hardly takes time off. Affordable and HSA approved. By far the best Joint in Houston, Dr. Trevor is a rockstar. Always a great adjustment whether my back, ribs, neck or hand and foot joints. Here is my story, I went there for the second time and one tough nurse or DR I don’t remember pushed to hard on my back and cracked one of my rips I didn’t go to the hospital because I didn’t know they told me to come back after two days to check on me I went there again and I was really in bad pain they didn’t do anything after 30min of waiting I asked for a refund they even did not bother to refund me the $100 I paid them Stay away from this place I hope the CEO read this message

They make you show up in person to the location to cancel your subscription. They won't allow you to do it on the phone. I called on Monday and was told I have until Friday to come in to cancel before I got charged for the month again. I looked at my bank statement today Friday 2/2/18 and saw that I was already charged effective yesterday 2/1/18. The woman who I spoke with on the phone was rude to me. The service I received is not worth the money.

Honestly, the best adjustment I’ve had since Dr. Trevor left. I live in Copperfield, but I’ll gladly drive the extra 30 minutes just to see him. I grew up in a chiropractor family. So I know the importance of regular adjustments. The Joint brings very affordable chiropractic care to people so one can go more regularly and still maintain a budget. I have visited many other chiropractors and they can be expensive $60 to $90+ a visit. The joint makes it at just over $20 a visit. That allows one to go often and get quick service. They offer both maintenance care and care for specific ailments. This is great especially if one wants to fit an adjustment into your schedule. Parking in the area is easy. The are safe for Covid as they all wear masks and take temperatures of those coming in. The place is very clean and has a very healthy atmosphere. Overall really great service at a very good price.

Cancelled in Feb, got charged 69 for the month of march, went back and confirmed with them my cancellation, they agreed that it is done. I again got charged for the month of April . When I called they told me it is for the previous month. Since the service is pre-paid. How can they say that they charged me for the start of March as well as end of march. I cancelled the monthly subscription, I gave 2 weeks notice like they asked and now ive been charged over $200 over the course of 3 months. There are some practices who are there just to make sure their bottom line continues to increase and there are those that focus on their patients. The Joint on San Felipe has it correct. Dr Terry goes above and beyond every time I visit. I was hesitant to come in for the first time but I was shocked. From the point you walk in, Nikki greats you by your name with a huge smile and gets you pumped. Let's say if you were having a not so good day, well it's about to change. She has a Masters in turning your day around. The wait is so short to see the doc that you wish you had more time to chit chat with Nikki. Now, let's focus on Dr Terry: What can I say?!? He is simply amazing. Knows your profile by heart and you never have to remind him about what treatment or areas you need attention on. He continues to surprise me when he gives me pointers and hints about improving my sleep or just overall fitness/health. I thought it was just me but as you evaluate the practice he goes in depth with each patient. His bedside manner is simply speechless. If you are debating, just come and try him. You will be hooked. Your first visit will take some time because Dr Terry goes over your entire wellness and lifestyle. He will than do some adjustments and recommend few actions you can take yourself to improve. Afterwards, you would think you are going to get pressured but trust me Nikki and Dr Terry will go over options without you feeling overwhelmed. They are simply amazing. You will wanna be back again for sure to experience this and to improve your day to day movements. Look forward to seeing you in the waiting area!

I loved the doctors but I have to agree with another reviewer on this post. I've never had a billing issue until I came to this location. Their monthly charge is suppose to be $69 but they charged me $98 for my first visit. Saying the 69$ was for my monthly membership and then the additional $29 as my "first" visit. What she should have done is charge the $69 flat rate and use my first visit as my first appointment in my membership. She told me the next month I would only get charged $69 from then on. That was incorrect. I was charged again $98. I called and said I didn't want this to happen again, she said she would take care of it and refund me the difference. I said I wanted to cancel my membership. She emailed me the form (hours later) to complete and to return for cancellation of my account. As she reassured me I wouldn't get charged again. It's now, a month later and I was yet again charged another $98. Once I called to have the charged refunded, she told me there was no recollection of me cancelling my membership. ?!?!?!? I assured her I did because of the billing issue and she then found my cancellation form and apologized for the issue and said my refund will get done and it won't happen again. Let's hope it doesn't. Receptionist needs to go back to quick books.
