Dr. Brian Lee became part of The Joint Chiropractic’s team of local healthcare providers in 2021 when he began serving residents in the Mansfield area, where he continues doing the work he finds so rewarding.
“It’s gratifying to help the community improve their daily quality of life one adjustment at a time,” he says. “I love being able to promote physical health and wellness.
A product of Nashville, Tenn., who worked previously in Dallas, Dr. Lee enjoys watching live music, brewing coffee and lattes, and making sure he’s physically fit, a regimen that includes weightlifting.
A graduate of University of Tennessee-Chattanooga with a bachelor’s degree in biology, Dr. Lee earned his doctorate from New York Chiropractic College.
He says first-hand experience confirmed that chiropractic was his professional calling: “After suffering sharp shooting pain into the back of my head, I started feeling improvement after a week of chiropractic.”
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. Lee says the one thing he always keeps stocked in his kitchen are fresh roasted coffee beans: “I like a nice Americano.”
If he could sit down to coffee with any four people from history, he would include a comedian/UFC commentator, and three football players. “I like Joe Rogan because he is very insightful on so many topics and truly tries to be the best example of himself,” Dr. Lee says. “Eddie George and Steve McNair were two Tennessee Titans I used to enjoy watching when I was a little kid. Alvin Kamara is a beast and won me a fantasy football league three years ago.”
Dr. Lee’s favorite book is The Invisible Man by HG Wells: “It’s a great novel that really helps to depict the life and point of view of someone who has always felt like they have not belonged. It truly is an eye-opener."
Dr. Caroline Graham became part of The Joint Chiropractic’s team of local healthcare providers in 2020 when she began serving residents in the Metroplex.
“The best thing about being a chiropractor is helping patients reduce their pain and improve their spinal health,” she says. “I love seeing patients’ health improve through natural means and keeping them healthy with regular spinal adjustments.
“I love when patients see good results and refer friends and family for care. I want to help as many people as possible, and when patients see great results, they want to share that and, as a result, we get to help more people who are experiencing neck and back pain.”
A product of North Carolina, she worked previously in Dallas, in particular, Grand Prairie. She has two Boston terriers, Jack and Lou, who are “sweet and spunky” and always keep her entertained. In her spare time she likes walking the dogs around White Rock Lake, but also finds relaxation or fun in embroidery, true crime shows and books, yoga, trivia, listening to music, and going to concerts.
She attended Parker University, where she got her doctorate in chiropractic. Before that, she attended University of North Carolina-Wilmington and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. “I knew early on that I wanted to work with people and treat them through natural means,” Dr. Graham says. “I moved to Texas in 2012 and eventually attended Parker University in Dallas.
“I knew chiropractic was my calling while working as a chiropractic assistant in Irving. After seeing so many patients get better, I knew the chiropractic field was for me.” One example of the difference chiropractic can make in a person’s life occurred, she says, when she “once prevented a young woman from having jaw surgery for her extreme TMJ pain. After a few TMJ adjustments, her pain resolved and her jaw was functioning properly.”
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. Graham says the most important food product in her kitchen is coffee: “I love the flavor and it helps get me energized for my day.”
If she could sit down to coffee with any four persons from history, she would include Jesus Christ, Buddha, George Washington, and Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
A book that has meant a lot to her is The Four Noble Truths by the Dalai Lama. She says that if she wrote an autobiography, it would be called I Am Blessed. “The reason I would like this to be the title of my autobiography is because I have been blessed with so many wonderful things in my life, and I always want to remember to be grateful for them,” she says.
