Yesterday was my first consultation with Dr. Paris and Beverly, and it was such a great experience. They were both super thorough and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I have been going to The Joint for years now. It is a great place for simple, day-to-day maintenance, but also a great place for adjustments that were caused from one day to the next. Every doctor has their unique way of treating their patients. But overall they get the job done respectfully. Recently, I had gone in for lower back pain and stiffness in my left leg, the first session he adjusted everything and aligned and decompress. May have to go for a second session just to top it off as I have in the past for the same problems. I have gone in for my sciatica as well and have not had issues with that for a very long time. I had 7 or 8 sessions with them and the last session was sometime in January/February 2024. All the sessions were great except for the last one. The chiropractor was different for the last session. I didn't expect him to break my back. Till this date I am suffering due to this. I am in pain ever since I had the last session. I am not sure what went wrong. He twisted me wrong, I understood it immediately that day. Thought it would be fine eventually. But I am in pain ever since. My left side of my back near shoulder blade is in pain. Never had problem sleeping on my side. I am having a poor quality of life because of this. I can't even do push ups because of my not so well working shoulder/shoulder blade. Very disappointed with the chiropractor who twisted me carelessly.

Dr. Paris did a great job getting my stiff, sore lower back taken care of after an overnight stay on a lumpy couch during the Thanksgiving Holiday. They took great care of me! The soreness and reduced mobility were all but gone after the adjustment…it was certainly a relief. Now, almost two days later, I can’t even tell that there was anything amiss since I have full range of motion in that area with no appreciable amount of pain or stiffness. Definitely worth a try if your suffering from similar circumstances.

I didn't know this place had this incredible package deals! Price isn't the only thing I highly recommend this place, once you get the package deal, you can visit ANY Joint locations AND No appointments necessary, you just walk in at your convenient time!! THIS is what I needed~ Also, I'm VERY picky, so I wasn't happy nor appreciated waiting for over an hour AFTER my appointment time (I was the first one to walk in the clinic, but over 10 people got treated before us). However, after the first evaluation and adjustment for my teenage son by Dr. Jasmine, I still gave 4 stars cause she took her time to evaluate him and my son actually felt good walking out. Now This is how going to Chiropractor should feel, except for the waited time, which I'm sure won't happen again. Again, I'm picky, I see value, results and details to service, people, etc. I've been to too many Private chiropractors thinking they should provide much better service for the high end price they charge, but this was a big awakening not all expensive means better service and quality treatment... Especially the last few private offices I went to were nothing but a joke and waist of money, wish I can name them so people who are desperate don't waist money there... I scheduled a 4:30 appointment. when I got there the waiting room was full of people who were walk-ins. i proceeded to sit there until the waiting room emptied out and then a few more people walked in and were taken back before me. At 5:00 I still hadn't been seen and asked the girl upfront if it was normal to wait so long with an appointment? She said that " since they were primarily walk-in based, that they prioritize walk-ins over appointments." This doesn't make any sense to me as what was the point in making an appointment if all the walk-ins were gonna be seen first. If this is your policy or you cant make appointment times then do everyone a favor and don't offer them..

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH "CHIROPRACTOR SERVICE" I was treated by Dr Paris around Thanksgiving 2024. During a new adjustment on me the doctor hugged me and pulled on my shoulder very hard causing a partial dislocation and A tear of my rotator cuff. This doctor never apologized I had to fight to get my pathetic $700 back from them. Now my orthopedic surgeon is going to have to operate on my shoulder because of the torn rotator cuff. Dr. Paris and Dr. Beard are great! However, trying to see one of them will take a while. Usually, when I came by, the wait was 45 minutes to an hour plus. The receptionist also suggested I call to see how long the wait is, too, before coming in. Every time I've called, it has been the same wait time. It would be great to make appointments so that we don't get surprised by a long wait time when we call or arrive. Or if they used the online check-in system, like SportClips and other businesses have, where you save your spot in line. That would be great, too.

The Joint doctors on University Oaks Blvd are the best. I can go at a convenient time for me and they send me videos of exercises to help with my lower back pain. Stretching and adjustments are key to recovery. The front desk person also reminds me how many visits I have left which is helpful. They are overall a great place. I’m frustrated… I’ve been a client of the joint for years. The attraction is convenience. It’s supposed to be quick and easy to pop in when I need an adjustment but it’s become anything but convenient… I’ve started running into consistent issues of very long wait times. I can understand 10 even 15 minutes, but when I’m told consistently it’s a 45 minute wait that’s frustrating. Can’t schedule appointments cuz it’s walk in only, which is supposed to make it convenient no need for an appointment… but when I have to take an hour out of my day if I want or need an adjustment it’s not worth it! If this is such a regular occurrence it tells me they are under staffed. The Drs often tell me I need to come in more frequently but how am I supposed to don that when I spend 45 minutes sitting in the waiting room for a 5 minute adjustment?! Very seriously considering canceling and going back to a traditional chiropractor… this isn’t a one time or rare thing… it’s almost every time…

I was experiencing excruciating pain on my lower back when I walked in; had been in pain for three days. Dr. Paris assessed my pain level and adjusted me. I immediately felt better. My mobility improved and my pain lessened. He suggested cold presses (and not heat -- I was doing it wrong for the past 3 days). I shared with him I've been taking Ibuprofen, and he said that would definitely help with inflammation. He explained the different packages, and his recommendation and told me I'd be getting a link via email with stretch exercises. I'm 2.5hours in, and feeling a heck of a whole lot better. I have a road trip this Sunday, and plan to stop by the center before I head out... just for good measure. Dr. Paris shared there's other TJCs sites nationwide, including, of course, Houston. I'm glad he made me aware. Five stars all around!

**THIS IS AN UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS POST** I see Dr. Christopher Beard and he is wonderful. I have had 4 major back surgeries and as a result I am fused with rods and plates. Dr. Beard is very careful with my lower back, however, he also has taken the time to figure out how to best move my hips back into place (which rotate horribly in different directions and cause severe pain). Also I have stenosis (and now and bone spurs) in my neck and he is the only chiropractor that is able to move my neck into place and usually with only massage manipulation. Lastly, the leg-pull!! WOW! He is the best!!! I am 60(61) and it took me a long time to find a good chiropractor, however I feel blessed that I found a FANTASTIC one! I first started seeing Dr. Beard at the Greenlawn Joint but followed him up to the University location because I will not trust my treatment to anyone else. Not only that the front staff are great as well. When the Black Friday sale was on Javier knew I wanted to buy a package and when I almost missed the cut off date he called me to remind me!! Thank you Javier!!! You saved me a lot of money!! If you are nervous or scared of chiropractors but want to try one out, I promise you won't go wrong at least talking to Dr. Beard.

As for the chiropractor he was also fantastic. Young guy, but very good at doing the proper adjustments my body needed. He was fast, friendly and immediately made my joints feel better as he was working. He even reminded me to grab my belongings as I headed out. 10 out of 10 staff at this location. Highly recommend. Visited 7/7/23 around 4:15pm Edit: still great and friendly service, had to cancel my membership for a little while, but resigned up easily. In the past they've helped me but now usually, they don't even get the pop and then they move on. I waited for 30 minutes while Dr. Le sat there and talked to a patient and then got a 1 minute adjustment where she just brushed over my needs quickly and I think I got literally 2 pops in total and told me she was done. In Dallas the locations were much more professional and efficient, I question paying for the chiropractor with this level of service. Was recommended to them by a friend when dealing with a work related injury. As much as I want to give the earned 5 star rating for excellent treatment, I had to scale it back due to the racist and stigmatized treatment I constantly endure with the receptionist and her sublevel handling of Covid-19 protocol. To the point where another customer called her out on rushing to take my temperature yet failing to take her temp and she had been in the office for more than 15 min before me. Unfortunately I cannot cancel my treatment plan yet because you have to pay 2 monthlt fees before you can opt out. Im still 3 visits away from getting my money's worth before I can find another doctor. So if you are other than Black, Gay and/or Male I highly suggest going for walk-in immediate relief from an experienced and friendly doctors. Otherwise... well good luck at the front desk.

I've been going to various Joint locations over the years and have realized who you get when you walk in is kind of luck-of-the-draw. There have been some docs that are mediocre and some that are truly exceptional in their adjustment expertise. Which is why I now look through reviews of various Joint locations to scout out the gems as opposed to just walking into the location nearest to me. I made the half hour drive to this East Palm Valley location (I live way out the other side of town by the Domain) especially to see Dr. Krista who I had heard great things about. She didn't disappoint. She was able to do the hip adjustment the way that works best for me (i.e. having me sleep sideways and adjusting manually on each side as opposed to moving the the table to different heights)...in my experience, not all Joint doctors are able to do this adjustment well, and its been critical in helping my scoliosis. She also manages to crack both the right and left sides of my neck and hips each time. I've been noticing not all Joint docs do this every time. It seems they tend to get one side moving and then I have to go back for another visit to get the second side adjusted. I wish Dr. Krista could be assigned to the Arboretum location a few days a week so I could see her more often. I believe both the locations are owned by the same franchisees. If you live in Round Rock, I'd highly recommend her.

Both Round Rock and Hutto have some great people. At the location on 79 Dr. Paris is absolutely amazing. He truly cares about his patients. Every time I've seen him he asks how my pain is for the exact area that gave me issue the last time I was in. He always evaluates my spine before the adjustment begins. He will also every time give me stretch or workout ideas to help my back issue. Sometimes that means having the receptionist send me an email with stretches or like today actually demonstrating them. Several Doctors at these clinics are great Chiropractors. Dr. Paris stands out because aside from doing what I expect, he always goes above and beyond. By far one of the most helpful Chiropractors the joint has.

I live in Hutto but travel to this location in Round Rock because a couple of months ago I saw Dr G! By far Dr. G has been the best chiropractor I’ve seen in approximately a year I’ve been going to the joint. Today I found out that he may be leaving this location in a couple of weeks. My biggest issue that I’ve had with the joint since I joined is every doctor is different. Some are good and some are definitely not. He is the ONLY one who has been EXCEPTIONAL. So I was ecstatic to finally find somebody I really liked. If he has to move from this location, I will definitely be going to a different location And possibly leaving the joint! My friend pays a little more to go to another chiropractor, but she sees the same chiropractor every week. She is trying to convince me to switch to her doctor even though it’s a little more money. But I feel it may be worth it to have the same Dr every week. This is my plea to try to keep Dr G at this location if possible so I don’t have to leave the Joint. Thanks

I went to the joint with back pain at an an 8 and shooting up to 10. Dr. Paris quickly figured out I had a rib out. After he adjusted me my pain was cut in half. Over the course of the day it’s lessened even more. Going back the day after tomorrow to continue treatment to fully correct my displaced rib. I’m so pleased with Dr G at the Hwy 79 location. Very few chiropractors have been able to adjust my stubborn neck. We followed Dr Le to the Georgetown location as she was able to adjust my neck. When she left I thought it would be impossible to find someone else. Dr G has tried several successful techniques to get my neck that have worked. Not the greatest with words but here goes.. When I first came in I was incapable of doing nearly anything cause I was in so much pain. I've suffered from back and hip problems for over 15 yrs. I've had 7 treatments so far. And Im noticing that Im not only not in pain all the time. But able to move more freely without straining something or being in even more pain. If your anything like me...Im sure u are afraid to go to a chiropractor. Also have tried everything else to try and ease the pain from stretching, to pillow propping, laying flat, to yoga ect ect... I've tried literally everything but a chiropractor. Even with all that I was doing to try and alleviate the pain nothing that I did worked. So I decided something had to give. I finally caved on being stubborn about going to see a chiropractor. I could not be more thankful that I did. 2 weeks of treatment and Im noticing a huge difference. I could not be more grateful and appreciative to them. Also gotta add my posture has greatly improved!!!!!!

I went in 01/21/2016 around 2:30-3 for an adjustment, I am unsure who the doctor was I didn't get her name, but she was awful, put more irritation & discomfort on my back rather than reliving the pain. If she had asked me anything about why I came in then maybe she would have had a better idea of what to do, but no she didn't ask me a single question, the whole process was rushed, I was sliding off the table, or chair whatever you would like to call it. Absolutely unprofessional, did not care at all about your pain just wanted your money, literally 30 seconds........never again at least not with her, if you ever go in for an adjustment, and there is a woman working, and again I wish I got her name so I don't have to refer her that way but anyways if there is a woman do not, I repeat do not get your adjustment by her. The reason I came to this place is because I had gone once before about 6 months ago, and had a gentleman do my adjustment, and I loved it, he asked me tons of questions about where my pain was, took his time, and relived the pain in my back, most professional chiropractor I have met, I know now, to get an adjustment by him and only him.
