Went here about three times and the first time was good in terms of getting some tension released in my neck but I never received an “adjustment”. Dr Green is nice but was never able to once get my spine to move. She used the activator on my neck and that’s about it. I’ve since moved to the Firewheel location and it’s 10 times better. ??

I came to this location as a new client based off a friend referral today Saturday 06.21.25. I was desperately needing an adjustment (which I have previously had gotten at another Dr. office but they were closed today, so I’m familiar with them) I was happy that I was able to be seen that same day with either $29 new client special. BUT the service from this lady was awfully not good! It seemed like she did not know what she was doing and she wasn’t even able to do my adjustment properly. I was very disappointed in coming and even though it was $29, but it was my money down the drain because she was not even able to do my adjustment right, no popping was done. And I left feeling the same or even worse! I hope this is bought up to management. Not sure if I would come back to see her in the image shown. ?

Dr. Lynn is absolutely great at what he does. I have been to a few different chiropractors that were good but he by far has been my favorite!! The Joint is a great place for chiropractic care. It is more cost effective than using my insurance at any of the clinics that take insurance. The convenience is awesome as well, you can go to any location, no appointments needed, and usually you can get in and out in 15 minutes depending on how busy they are. Now as for the doctors, I have been with the Joint Rowlett for years now, and have seen many doctors in that time. That is my only real complaint that it seems like they switch them out too often. Dr Lynn, the current doctor is great! He has a great personality and is easy to talk to. He listens to whatever may be ailing me at the time and works on that area and gives me advice on what I can do at home to help relieve it. I really hope he stays longer than the rest of the doctors have, I personally think he is one of the best I have seen at the Joint.

I visited the Mesquite office in an emergency a few weeks ago because my back had locked up and I couldn’t even walk. The pain was so unbearable, I was crying tears. I loved the first month here. I was in and out now things seemed to have slowed down a bit. Two weeks ago there were four people in the waiting room and sounded like the doctor(heavier lady) was having an all out conversation with another client about dating. No there was no therapeutic movement happening. Almost as they were just sitting there chatting away. Fifteen minutes later into the conversation I had enough and told the young lady at the front desk I had to get to work. Today I’m waiting in pain even after being told it would be about twenty minutes because the Dr. (Found out is a different one, a tall slimmer one) is on a important phone call and no one else is available to cover the customers who come in and are being turned away during business hours. This is ridiculous and unsat! I cancelled my account today and will be going elsewhere. But of course I’ve been charged for the month so I have no choice but to finish here until then.

Went in for the New Patient deal we were offered. Staff is off the charts friendly and professional. The tablet takes some trickiness to do so if you're not savvy I'd advise paperwork. The Chiropractor who visited with us and reviewed the reports from my injuries was Astonishing and Amazing. She took time to explain in detail using model as a prop what was going on. Unfortunately we couldn't use this place as of now, but her knowledge and honesty I trust more than the 20+ years of Dr's I've seen for my injury. When I get to the "Rack an Crack" stage, I will be seeking her out and returning. I'm still impressed with overall of this location.

I came home for the holidays I was visiting from California, I noticed a complete difference between the Joint in cali and TEXAS the ones in Texas do a much better job every time I came by to get adjusted and get relief in my neck and upper back I have always been able to get relief and feeling so much better from each of my visits each of the 3 Doctors I’ve spoken to actually spoke to me listened to where I have my issues/trouble areas and read the notes of my previous providers I have definitely felt much better and more flexible coming here vs the joints in cali I always feel like a number there. I highly recommend coming here if you have issues with your neck, back, or joint pains you will more than likely find the relief you are looking for. Ps. The Doctors cannot do everything for you, you yourself need to listen to there recommendations and do some work to strengthen your back and neck muscles, check out The Joints UTube channel they have great videos to help you.

This place is amazing. Dr. Tamez is ? and he’s one of the best chiropractor ??‍⚕️ around! I’ve been a patient here over 2 years and I’ve had no issues. Dr. Tamez assures great customer care and he knows all of his patients and new clients! Every adjustment that Dr. T does is beneficial to the patient’s health & total body. I drive over 35 minutes away to come to this location specifically. Some People have came in rude to this establishment towards Dr. T and Dr. T always remains calm when trouble comes from ignorant patients. The people that come in wrong in error are disrespectful and they take it out on Dr. T while he has done nothing wrong but simply tries to accommodate them. Dr. Tamez is the best in the west !

I don’t do many reviews and I just had to one for this place. I’m a soccer player about to go to Germany and I’ve always had knee pain from an injury a few years ago. I never thought my knee pain would go away until a couple of visits with Dr. Tamez. The pain has gone away in my knee and my whole body feels amazing, and as an athlete that says a lot. When I come back for seasonal break, this is the first place I’m going to. Thanks a lot to the Dr. Tamez and the staff.

This place doesn’t care about his clients, except to get them on a repeat program. Having to sign marketing and disclaimers prior to talking to a doctor should be illegal. “Dr” Marcus was unconcerned with my discomfort, as soon as I expressed my objection to signing a document that says all my questions were answered prior to talking to anyone. The woman at the counter was cold and inconsiderate to my questions. This is what happens when the care industry gets managed and marketed by haircut franchises!!!

I came to the Rowlett office today with knee pain. Pretty significant pain. After a treatment session with Dr. Tamez, I left the office feeling 85% better. Tried to go to this location because they were open later (7pm on the web site). They had the door locked at 6:44pm and were "hiding" in the back. Don't say you're open until 7 if you lock the doors beforehand. Locking the doors and pretending you don't see a member is the opposite of open. If you can't fit me in, have the courtesy to say that when I walk in. Obviously not a local owner-operator.

I came here for the first time and was referred by my hair stylist. This place is an Excellent value for the service provided. The chiropractor hit every spot that I needed. He was professional, communicative, and maintained dialogue throughout the procedure. The place got packed quickly after I arrived. I'd recommend scheduling an appointment ahead of time. After the first treatment, they offered me a maintenance special and various affordable package deals. I went with the least expensive plan. I'm LQQKING forward to my Saturday visit.

Excellence! When I arrived as a first time patient I had some serious concerns, but the pain (10) I was having in my lower back was unbelievable. I thought they leave notes after visit so the next visit they know what has been done and what to do. I had to explain all over what is going on. Dr. Maclver is really good, but waiting time is RIDICULOUSLY UNACCEPTABLE! The front desk girl don't goes by the actual check-in list, instead she offers personal favors and prioritize specific patients over others! Went in with severe shoulder/back pain. Ended up with Migraine relief as well! Dr. Mclver is true miracle worker. He truly cares about his patients. Don and I had a very good experience with Dr. MacIver today. Don’s neck is looser than it’s been for a long while. For me, the jury is still out. I’ll know more tomorrow, but feel some relief already. C2 may or may not stay in place, but that’s on me. And I love how I can go get it put back in place on a moment’s notice. Sometimes waiting for an appointment time is too much.

After putting it off for years, I sought treatment here for chronic pain and migraines I've had since I was a small child. Dr. MacIver and his team has helped change my quality of life in a matter of weeks. The process is quick, and they see a large amount of patients, but you are given the upmost attention and care. The only thing I would change is privacy. It's not a big deal but it's an open space, and I'm not quiet when I'm adjusted. Ha! I just hate having an audience.

I have had insufferable migraines since 2014. I have seen orthopedic surgeons/specialist, neurologist, GP, 1 chiropractor (thats a story on its own). I have had MRI, CAT and PET scans, x-rays, medications (relpax, immitrex, triptans, beta blockers, stuff to spray up my nose, drinks, even tried botox). Nothing worked. Emergency rooms didn't help take the pain that would bring you to the brink of suicidal idealations. I looked at The Joint because I have seen other talk about it and looked into Dr. MacIver's "about me" on this site. He is also a migraine suffer. As apprehensive as I was, today I ended up calling to make my first patient appointment because I was starting to develop a migraine. I cried all the way down to his office.. Not 5 minutes into the adjustment...and just like that... he made it go away.. 6 years of suffering between 3-7 days bed ridden and no specialist could do anything for me.. and this amazing doctor, made it go away. Overwhelmed with so many emotions, I cried on the table. I am extremely grateful for what he has given back to me. Migraine suffers? Suffer no more!!! This is the guy to go see.!

Today was my 14 y/o daughters’s first appointment for back pain. Rachel was great getting her worked in on the very same day I called. I was nervous, since it was her first time with this doctor. But after reading all the great reviews, I decided to take her. My daughter loved Dr. Maclver. He was wonderful with her, and he made her feel at ease throughout the entire visit and treatment. I’m so pleased, because tonight was the first night in weeks that she hasn’t complained of her back hurting. She said his treatment and adjustment helped her back so much. So she will now continue to go as per the doctor’s instructions. My husband has had back pain for years, and I have had chronic neck problems for years, along with two surgeries, and other invasive procedures I’ve had done. So I’m excited and hopeful that my husband and I are now planning to go see them as well! I would also like to say that their pricing is great! Today was my 1st time EVER going to a chiropractor and it was a life changing experience! As somone who has daily,debilitating back pain, I felt relief that I have Never felt! I was also very afriad and tense and nervous bc they were going to be touching an area that was already hurting me,but she asked before she did each maneuver,and afterwards and if I was uncomfortable she opted to do it another way that seemed to give me alot of relief despite my fear. Thank You so much and Im happy to know that the Wellness plan is affordable as I currently dont have insurance. Thank You a Million! Cant wait to go back! My daughter said I looked like I lost weight which is probably due to my posture improving in 1 Visit!!

Just got to Dallas from out of state for the Thanksgiving holiday, and was wanting to see a chiropractor as soon as possible since I wasn’t able to get adjusted before I left my hometown! Dropped in this afternoon to see Dr. MacIver and just wanted to say WOW! Thank you guys SO much for fitting me in. The service was top quality — front office manager was very sweet, I was able to be seen in a moments notice, the appointment was efficient and quick, and the Doc. was super kind. Already feeling a lot of tension release after my adjustment, and I know I’ll be able to face the weekend with a boosted immune system too. Check this location out if you haven’t been yet! They’re wonderful people!!

I have been going to The Joint offices for Chiropractic adjustments for over four years now. The one in Rowlett with Dr Darren English is the best I have been to. He took plenty of time with me and it was obvious he was experienced and knew what he was doing. I dont remember having an adjustment that complete and detailed in a very long time. I live in Rockwall but will drive across the lake to go to The Joint in Rowlett to be seen by him again.

Oh man! Dr. Garlington is a powerful adjuster. I didn’t think she would get me because her size, but she is awesome. She is funny, cheerful, professional, and adjusts like a pro. Explained to me what’s been my issue for so long and Blake was great explaining all of the options for payment. I got a wellness plan and was in and out. I can’t wait to come back and see them! Went in the Rowlett location this morning to cash in on their $29 deal and instead of signing me in to get my adjustment. He went in to a sales pitch about their programs. So in other words, that $29 deal is for people that sign up for the wellness deals. Yes, I have back pain and needed an adjustment. And i am aware that I will probably need more than one visit but i am not going to commit to anything before I even know if I like dealing with the people. Yep, waste of time.

It was my first visit ever to a chiropractor. I didn’t know what to expect and was a little nervous about going, but I didn’t want to see a general practitioner only to be prescribed pain meds. When I walked in, I was greeted by a very nice receptionist who asked if it was my first visit and if I knew how they operated. After telling her no and mentioned I stopped in after numerous recommendations to see a chiropractor about my possible sciatic issues, she proceeded to kindly explain their business model and what I can expect. So I filled out the detailed paperwork, and met with Dr. Elizabeth Garlington, who was PHENOMENAL. She thoroughly explained the process of chiropractic therapy, what it is designed to address and not address, and that she wouldn’t do anything I wasn’t comfortable with. She then asked me to explain what brought me in, and took COPIOUS notes on what I felt like was my life story. She didn’t rush me and always made me feel at ease. She explained what she believed was the issue and how she would address it. The therapy session began and before she adjusted each area, she told me where she was going next, what I would feel and how it would help. This greatly put me at ease. She was AWESOME! When she was done, she asked how I felt, helped me up, and told me what she recommended which included regular visits, stretches I can do at home, as well as additional things I can do to continue to relieve the pain and promote overall wellness. I had not planned on purchasing a therapy treatment program (I won’t call it a membership because that’s not what it is - memberships are for gyms and they don’t genuinely care about you or your well being), but after being treated with the BEST care and customer service, I don’t want to go anywhere else and truly see the VALUE now in chiropractic care on a regular basis. Can’t believe I’ve gone so long without ever getting adjusted. I’m one happy camper! :-)

Chiropractor at theJoint: “Would you like to buy a package? You need to buy a package. I can’t treat you effectively unless you come three times a week. And the cheapest way is to buy a package.” That is the normal pressure tactic used at this location. Also, don’t believe their statements regarding not taking appointments. I took my son in for the first time and was happy to find the waiting room empty, but was told he would need to wait for 45 minutes because there were 2 new-patient call ahead appointments ahead of him. Again, waiting room was empty! I really wonder what kind of chiropractors work for these retail strip mall joints. Think about it. Is it likely the best chiropractors work these retail hours? What are we trading for the the convenience and low prices at these strip mall joints?

I love this place. Before I found The Joint I could not afford to spend huge amounts of money for chiropractic care, so I went months or years having to fix things myself, never worked! The joint is so reasonably priced I can go anytime I want. They have different plans where you can get a discounted price any time you go. Amazing! From the moment I walked in til I left! The front desk receptionist Blake was very informative and went out his way to answer all questions even going to get the doctor to make sure he gave clear answers! The doctor was amazing! After going to the ER 3 times and leaving with nothing but a bunch of Prescriptions that did nothing but make me sleepy while still in pain. My first visit to the Joint I left feeling amazing my pain in my neck was gone and finally the information I was given was making sense after getting wrong treatments and information at the ER for almost a month! I wish I would have looked into this along time ago would have saved me a lot of pain and time! Had the best sleep I have been able to get in nearly 3 weeks after my visit! I would highly recommend this place especially for first timers The Dr. Mark Rayshell explains everything so clearly and makes you comfortable! I can’t wait for my next visit!

I went for my first adjustment today after dealing with a massive amount of back pain for much longer than I should have. The waiting area was really nice and inviting, the receptionist was super friendly and helpful and the doctor was absolutely outstanding. I felt super comfortable with him and was able to put my full trust in him - which can be scary when you’re putting your spine in someone’s hands. My anxiety melted away almost instantly after the first few minutes. To say my back is in bad shape is an understatement so it can’t all be fixed in one session but after just the one session, I feel so much better. I’m really surprised at how different it feels after just one time. This place is really great and so affordable. I highly recommend them.

The Dr was great! Sadly, the gentleman at the front counter was very contradicting. As I turned in my paperwork, I saw a pamphlet that advertised specials for military and veterans. I requested information and proved that I was a veteran by my ID. The gentlemen stated that my visit would be $10 cheaper and any wellness plans I sign up for would also be discounted. When we went to checkout, the gentleman rang up full price and tried to sell us on the wellness plans at the regular price. I asked about the discount and he goes back and says "oh yeah, that's still the same price." I pointed at the pamphlet and said "this says $19." He responded with "all new patients pay the $29, you'll get the discount on your next visit." None of that sounded right nor was it what was advertised, so I opted out of signing up for any wellness plans and just paid the regular rate and left. I feel much better than before going in, but I am disappointed in the lack of knowledge, misinformation, and inconsistency in the young man working the front counter.

Saturday morning I pinched a nerve in my back picking up my daughter. I couldn't carry her, and could only walk if I supported myself bracing my upper body weight on my hips. With just 8 hours before a work shift, I was desperate. Hit the Google, and this was the nearest one to me that was open on a weekend. I showed up after calling to make sure they take walk ins, and ms dunagan was able to help me. She worked around my degenerating disc disease, didn't hurt me further, and I got on their monthly plan. Very veteran friendly, and 30.06 friendly to boot! Monthly plans for vets are only 59 bucks, and normal monthly plans are 69. For the price, you can't get much better than this!

Dr Hardwick is phenomenal! 2 years ago, I completed 6 weeks of Chiropractic Care at another office and after no change to my pain and discomfort, I gave up treatment. My insurance did not cover chiropractic care, so that initial experience was extremely expensive and disheartening. Recently I decided to Google Chiropractic Care in my area... simply because I could not bear the pain any longer. I read the ads for The Joint and was first attracted by the inexpensive rate. My initial thought was that I could certainly afford $69 for 4 visits each month. At first I was going two times per week as suggested. I did not notice much change, however one Friday I walked into the office and had the pleasure of meeting doctor Hardwick. He listened to my story and did a full evaluation to understand my specific need. He also asked me some questions to understand my concerns. I truly appreciated the patience he had with me, and I was amazed at how gentle and effective his adjustment was. I immediately felt a difference! I soon decided to only visit when he was in the office... Friday and Saturday. After a few weeks, my pain was gone and I could use my left arm again! When I delivered this news to him, he was happy but not satisfied. He tested my strength and mobility and saw that I still had quite a bit of tension. He adjusted my shoulder and back as always and kneaded the area of my shoulder that still felt tight. Knowing that it would be sore soon, he handed me an ice pack and told me to apply for 20 minutes. It is obvious to me that doctor Hardwick genuinely cares for his patients. I continue to go now every Friday even though I no longer have the pain I once did. I can't express the gratitude I have for Dr. Hardwick and the plan that The Joint offers.

Dr. Dunagan is a caring and compassionate chiropractor. I have a bad shoulder, and could barely lift it over my head. Through chiropractic and various techniques, my range is much higher and the pain level is much lower. I drive from Heath to this clinic and it is well-worth it.
