Dr. Angelica joined The Joint Chiropractic’s family of local healthcare providers in 2021 and currently works at Joint Chiropractic’s San Antonio’s Alamo Ranch and Potranco locations. A graduate of Sherman Chiropractic College, who studied Kinesiology, Science, Anatomy and Wellness Medicine, she received her doctorate of chiropractic in 2020, she still enjoys learning and loves sharing about current health related issues, wellness and Chiropractic care.

Dr. Angelica, as she likes to be called, says the best thing about being in the chiropractic field is: “Connecting with patients and teaching them the power of their body to heal from inside-out ”.

The second best thing about being in the chiropractic field is “Being able to guide patients to become their best by having a nervous system free of interference ”. Dr. Angelica moved to Texas and really enjoys living in the San Antonio area near friends and family.

She knew chiropractic was his calling when- “when I received my first specific upper cervical adjustment. I was diagnosed with a colloidal cyst in my brain at 8 years old. It was an incidental finding after suffering from intense migraines since 6 years old. I was prescribed many medications to aid with my headaches but nothing worked. I was having secondary effects due to all the medications including behavioral changes. At age of 19, I was invited to go to a Chiropractic College open house and I received that adjustment that changed my life. Before knowing Chiropractic was my calling I wanted to become a Neurosurgeon but I decided not to because I understood that the body has the ability to heal itself without invasive procedures. Chiropractic is much more than just “popping” and “cracking” and it is my purpose to spread that word to the WORLD. -me”.

The thing I like best about working at the Alamo Ranch location of The Joint,”I like to work at The Joint in Alamo Ranch because I’m able to be me. Patients like to be educated and being a Doctor is about teaching and this is what I love to do.”: In Case You Didn’t Know: What’s the one thing in your fridge that you must have, and why? Dr. Angelica says she must haveKombucha!!! Drinking Kombucha is what has helped me heal better and faster. Kombucha improves digestion, strengthens the immune system, reduces blood pressure and detoxifies. If you can make it at home it is better.

Four “famous” people, living or dead (but not friends/family members), who would comprise your perfect dinner party, and why? It’s not about famous people but intentional people. My perfect dinner will be with Mabel Palmer, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Alba. As you can read, all of them are women. They are inspirational to me because all of them were intentional with their purposes and they all broke a lot of stereotypes when men were the leading heads at their professions.

Angelica enjoys playing Volleyball, hiking with my dog and my boyfriend, going to the beach with friends and listening to motivational post casts.
