Meet The Doctors
Dr. Savannah Blake became part of The Joint Chiropractic’s team of local healthcare providers in 2023 when she began serving residents in Midland, TX. In March 2024, she was part of the successful opening of the Odessa clinic. Dr. Blake is excited to be a part of opening the Victoria, TX clinic. She concurrently splits her time between private practice and The Joint, seeing and helping as many patients as possible.
Dr. Blake grew up in the piney woods of southeast Texas playing numerous sports. Through many sport related injuries and general clumsiness, she never had chiropractic care as a child. As a young adult, she met Dr. Sanslone of League City, who kept her out of numerous therapies with treatment in his office. After treatment with him, Dr. Blake decided to pursue a career in Chiropractic.
Dr. Blake graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in August 2023 and has since earned additional certifications in prenatal and pediatric care. She is also board certified in Chiropractic Acupuncture.
“The best part of being a chiropractor is helping patients in a conservative way. I enjoy identifying issues before they are a surgical matter and treating them so my patients can lead a pain free life without life altering operations. Additionally, I have confidence in my ability to identify cases that are out of my scope and need other interventions, I know that our office is the best way of finding those interventions. I have not had a day where I left work unhappy with the work I put in and the outcomes I have seen.”
When not in the clinic, Dr. Blake enjoys spending time with her corgi Zeus, cat Pumpkin, and her boyfriend Andrew. They like to stay in to watch movie series in their free time.

Dr. Ian Söderqvist, most often referred to as Dr. Ian, became part of The Joint Chiropractic’s team of local healthcare providers in 2024 when he began serving residents in Victoria, TX. Dr. Ian is excited to be a part of opening the Victoria, TX clinic. He concurrently splits his time between private practice and The Joint. Fun fact, the doctors at this clinic also practice together in a sports based private chiropractic practice located in Corpus Christi, TX.
“The best thing about my career is getting to interact with different patients daily. I love being able to serve the public because I always want to help others, and this has been the most for fulfilling aspect of my career.”
Raised in Corpus Christi, TX, Dr. Ian received his BS in Kinesiology: Exercises Science from Texas A&M Corpus Christi and went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker University in Dallas, TX.
Dr. Ian spends his time with his wife, Angelina, who is his childhood sweetheart! She works in the medical field as an RN and is currently working towards her NP degree. They have a full house with 3 children, 1 girl and 2 boys, 2 dogs (a labradoodle and a goldendoodle) and a cat. In addition to spending time with his family and pets, Dr. Ian loves to workout as “it’s been a passion of mine since I was young.”
“The best piece of advice I have ever been given was given to me by my boss and clinic owner, Dr. Baucum. “I like what I enjoy and it’s not for you to understand.” It’s a reminder to me that we’re all different, have varied interests and joys, and if someone doesn’t understand that, that’s ok!”
