Meet The Doctors

Dr. Robert Miller, D.C. is a Chiropractor at American Fork

He grew up in Chesterfield, Virginia then moved to St. George, Utah where he attended Dixie College receiving his associate of science degree. He joined the U.S. Navy and served for six years as an electronics technician. After he finished his duty in the Navy while working as an electronics technician he felt the lord had called him to Chiropractic.

Dr. Miller received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic. He also received his Bachelors of Science degree while at Palmer College of Chiropractic. While at Palmer he was involved in Palmer Student Alumni Foundation, Student American Chiropractic Association along with other clubs. He worked as a Radiology Intern and a Clinical Teaching Assistant. He has been providing Wellness care with The Joint Chiropractic since 2014.

While serving in the Navy he met his wife JoyAnne. They have 5 wonderful boys. He loves to spend time with his family. They enjoy hiking, camping, riding bikes and traveling together. Dr. Miller loves being a Chiropractor. Chiropractic has changed his life. He loves serving the people of Utah helping them with their health through chiropractic wellness care.

Dr. Matt Huseboe, D.C. is a Chiropractor at American Fork

After working with thousands of patients from all different walks of life, the one thing that Dr. Huseboe has learned is that there is always more to learn. He began his life living in South East Idaho where he grew up with 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Before entering college he spent two years in Chile on a mission for his church.

After his mission he earned his Associate's degree in Sports Medicine, a Bachelor's in Spanish with an emphasis in Physical Education and Pre-medical courses from BYU. It was at this moment in his life that he changed his life-long dream of becoming a medical doctor and decided to pursue becoming a chiropractor. This decision came about gradually throughout his undergraduate work as he began to realize that the medical community seemed to rely on drugs, surgery and a one-size-fits-all approach to patient care. It was during this time of self-reflection that he was introduced to Chiropractic. At first he was skeptical until he became a patient himself. This was his "ahah!" moment. During care he realized that he no longer needed his heartburn medication, his energy increased and he became a more productive person. All this occurred with no other change in his life other than being adjusted regularly.

This was the deciding factor for him in becoming a chiropractor and help others heal from the inside out, without the use of medicines, surgery or drugs!

Dr. Huseboe is an active member of his community and church. He loves supporting his two grandchildren as they swim, learn and grow. He is also a member of the U-link networking organization in the Sacramento area.

Dr. Matt Huseboe graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West in 2006. He traveled to El Salvador in 2006 on a weeklong chiropractic mission to treat the underprivileged of that area. While there he was a witness to hundreds of miracles. This experience moved him deeply and further fueled his desire and passion to teach and deliver chiropractic to the world. He loves chiropractic work and loves the people, stories and miracles. This, along with God and his loving wife Heather, is what sustains him throughout his life.

Dr. Jay Yates, D.C. is a Chiropractor at American Fork

Dr Jay M Yates is a 1985 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic - West where he also founded the Motion Palpation Club. After graduation Dr Yates set up his first practice in beautiful Newport Beach, California where he established Newport Center Chiropractic. Dr Yates then proceeded to acquire a Tennessee license and opened a 3500 square foot multi-discipline clinic called S.M.A.R.T (Spinal Manipulation and Rehab Therapy) Center in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee. He also spent his off time as a songwriter and placing his songs with BMI (Broadcast Music Inc.). Recognizing the need for a professional provider network (PPO) Dr. Yates established the Tennessee Chiropractic Network (TCN) to help Tennessee doctors find a place in the manage care environment. Dr Yates provided accreditation and peer review for the TCN. Returning to California, Dr Yates saw the need for neurological testing for chiropractic patient and established Medical Diagnostic Associates and began providing nerve testing procedures for doctors in California, Nevada and Utah. Dr Yates set up private practice again in California and partnered with Chi therapy Centers, a holistic acupuncture and chiropractic center, as the Director of Chiropractic.

Dr Yates found a home a few years later with Joint Ventures as a Clinic Chiropractor and then an Associate Chiropractor with our Elk Grove clinic. Dr Yates then earned the position of Clinic Director in Folsom where he worked until his move back to Utah. He is now working with our Taylorsville clinic as a Clinic Chiropractor.

Dr Yates is always trying to find ways to help patients find relief from their back and neck problems and has a number of different techniques that have allowed him to help patients and improve their health over the years and continues to do so today. If you are in the Salt Lake City area, stop in and let Dr Yates help you.
