The best thing about being in the chiropractic field is helping patients get out of pain in natural and least invasive methods allowing them to live a better quality of life. I am an outdoor enthusiast doing all things in nature (hiking, swimming, kayaking, white water rafting, fishing, enjoying both the beach and mountain life.) I have an extensive rock and gemstone collection. Have been in a committed and loving relationship for over a year now and I am looking forward to what the future holds. Sole provider of three dogs - first is a mutt (English pointer/setter and lab/dachshund mix), second is a Pitbull, third is a goldendoodle (the biggest of handfuls). The one thing that I must have in the fridge is a creamer because coffee is a staple in the house.

The four people I would choose for the perfect dinner party are Nichola Tesla, Keanu Reeves, Jim Carrey, and Morgan Freeman. I can only imagine the philosophical conversations that would stem from this combination, plus good humor to boot.

The coolest thing I've ever done is hard to choose between ziplining in the Tennessee mountains, white water rafting on the Youghiogheny River in Pennsylvania. The views on the ziplines going from one mountain top to another were unbelievable and happened to be during the 2017 total solar eclipse. And taking on the white-water rapids is not only a huge workout but a major adrenaline rush (word to the wise, listen to the guides!).

And he was awesome, but his prices got out of control and this group has walk-ins where you can pop in at any time and they also offer military discount which is great. Dr. Renee and Dr. Peter are the best!!! Honestly, every doc I've seen here has been outstanding. I came in last year when I threw out my back, and they have helped me heal and stay healthy ever since. They are even helping our 8yo son realign his back after karate sessions. The front desk is always so positive and friendly, and a few of the chiropractors in particular are especially proficient at their jobs. About three weeks ago, my wife visited your clinic. The receptionist gave her several forms to fill out with required information such as address, phone number, etc. She also signed a paper stating that she did not want to be enrolled in the program. We only paid for four regular visits. She completed three of them, and one was missed because we went to a specialist. In January, we were charged an $89 monthly fee for an illness program that she did not apply for. I contacted the clinic regarding this issue and was told that the monthly fee was being charged for the program. I explained that we only paid for the regular visits and did not enroll in this program. However, they continued to insist that the fee must be paid and stated that we would be charged again the following month unless we filled out a cancellation form. I told them that we do not want this program and questioned why we should pay for something we never requested. I filled out the cancellation form, but we were still charged $89 this month. While the amount itself is not significant, the way this money is being taken from people is shameful.

Do not under any circumstances come to this place. They will try to sell you a membership and will make it as difficult as humanly possible to cancel. They will tell you that you can cancel it in any of their locations, but you can only cancel at your home location. They will assure you that you have time to cancel and will give you an incorrect date for your billing cycle. And if you have signed up with a family member who also wishes to cancel, but is unable to make it to the office, will not allow you to receive permission to cancel from that family member. They will do anything it takes to hold onto as much of your money as humanly possible, including not letting you cancel preemptively. Find somewhere else, I promise you it is worth the extra time.

First and foremost the hospitality at this establishment is immaculate. They really go above and beyond to help you without being over bearing. I’ve had appointments with three of the surgeons so far but each one has been just as professional, competent, and courteous as the last. They were able to confirm my past suspicions and even enlighten me to new information to which I was never aware. Which is a testament to their dedication to their craft and patient care. Before talking about the care I should say that you should not expect that same recovery path that I experienced everyone’s condition and affliction is unique and should be treated as such, but if you stick with the clinic and do the homework and make time for some rest I can almost assure you quality of life improvements save some edge case afflictions that may require other or a combined effort of other specialists to help. I was skeptical about chiropractic surgery before coming in here, but after reaching what was seemingly a plateau in recovery I decided to take a chance with these guys. The difference was night and day. After my first appointment it felt as if a weight had been lifted and my mood was touching the sky. Which goes to show how much tension you can hold in your joints. I have to admit that even after a few appointments I was still cautious about what I could attribute to their care since it was so quick and seamless it was too good to be true. The results were only temporary at first but after consistent treatment I can tell relief is only extending along with my range of motion . I did reach some obstacles in my treatment which was at no fault to them, but instead the lack of alternate care I was seeking on my behalf. In conclusion the care a treatment are undoubtedly beneficial and well executed at this establishment. Appointments are walk-in and very quick. The professionals are understanding. I have tried 3 times to get an itemized receipt from them and still don’t have one. They keep promising to email it to me but don’t. When I went in person, front desk lady told me she didn’t have time to print it for me. What!? I also requested to cancel the recurring membership and asked for confirmation which I didn’t receive. I have no confidence that they’ve actually cancelled my membership. Always a bad sign when a business makes it difficult to cancel a membership.

Definitely a great place to start/try your chiropractic experience. They have a variety of payment options that I'm sure will fit most budgets. As for the chiropractors themselves are very professional, friendly, and willing to work with you on your problematic areas or concerns. Based on my personal experience, the relief was almost instant, especially if it's an on going issue with strained muscles. Due to my job, I almost always suffer stiff neck and strained back. So once a week I will come in, the chiropractor works with me on the problem(s) and I left feeling refreshed! Great values! Have been going for nearly a year now. Still great experience and definitely help with my stiffness and minor aches, especially neck and upper back.

I have to say that this had been a great place that helped me with my rehabilitation but I'm severely disappointed at the current events that have occurred with me here. I recently got into an accident on her about June 8th and I have been unable to work. I was unable to pay their $89 monthly fee and was told that I could freeze the account if something happened to me and I was unable to pay. Well this is true but only after your balance is zero and it cant be done over the phone. I couldn't pay because I had no money but I certainly had enough time to freeze the account. I wasn't notified that this was an option. Now they're going to continue to charge me $89 a month when I can gain no benefit from their service. I almost want to call a lawyer because failure to notify me of the option to freeze the account will cost me that $89 or, even more, could damage my credit if I'm unable to pay. Exercise your options. I'm sure other places wouldn't treat you this way after you've been involved in an accident.

I was extremely nervous after watching so many videos on various platforms. The sound you hear is enough to make most sane people run in the opposite direction. However, having it done…the sound is very misleading, but the relief is so nice. From the Receptionist Joanne to the doctor I saw, Dr. Ramos, it was a very pleasant surprise. With the $29 special, I feel it’s worth it. And, they give Military discounts. My first visit was on March 27th, 2024.

I am a big fan of chiropractic care, and i will give it to the joint that the price is definitely far cheaper, the care however is significantly different. I gave it a try 3 times trying to give them a chance. This was the worst chiropractic care i have had, and was very disappointed. Caused lasting pain for months from the what i would describe as very rough and unappropiate adjustments. On my 3 visits i saw two different providers. While other places charge significantly more, i think i will pay a premium for a better quality of care. This could certainly be a one off, but i would recommend to consider sticking with a provider if you are happy with the care. Saving a few dollars wasn’t worth it for me.

Came here as a new patient after having this place recommended by a coworker because my lower back ( sciatica ) was really bothering me, after doing the new patient forms( like 5 pages) on their tablet, I guess it didnt submit & i had to re do it on paper… after that I had to wait even longer since the chiropractor wanted to go ahead and take someone else who had just walked in instead.. when I went to the back it was literally 1 minute and I felt like it was very rushed. We’ve been about a dozen times at this point. We make sure to stick to Dr. Nagel’s schedule (pronounced like “bagel”) He’s extremely knowledgeable and caring. The front desk is usually manned by Jade and she’s also very caring and a wonderful young woman, but Mayra has also been there as well and she is a joy as well. We love this location. My daughter is 15 and newly diagnosed with scoliosis and I am dealing with post concussion syndrome. We both utilize the wellness plan and go twice week. I also just took my 20 year old when she was home visiting after she was newly diagnosed with TMJ. We recommend this clinic, and Dr Nagel specifically, to everyone we talk to who asks about a chiro :)

The staff at the Bristow location really make this place great. When you walk through the doors, you are instantly greeted by Jasmine at the front desk. She is super friendly, welcoming, and always has a smile on her face. Dr. Ault is exceptional. He always asks how you are doing and which problem areas you are experiencing. He listens, he's attentive, professional, and does a great job at adjusting your back. Went to become a new patient. I’ll tell you that I will be looking for another practice. Had a scheduled appointment, while waiting, the doctor came out and the front desk person told him there was another new patient and he proceeded to act like “another new patient” then looked at me as I looked up when he said it. That made me feel very uncomfortable and unwanted at that practice. I went to the front and told the girl I was going to leave after hearing that. She proceeded to tell me that the doctor gets stressed easily. That’s no excuse. If that’s so, he should find another profession.

I've been going here for a few years. I have seen many of the doctors. They are all really good and nice. The membership rates are reasonable compared to going to a traditional chiropractor. I like that you don't need an appointment, you just walk in. Caveat with that is go when it's not busy and quickly go in and out. Dr. Peters is the best! He is super friendly and personable. And he addresses all concerns and goes above and beyond. Other doctors are good too. Dr. Renee helped with my vertigo by adjusting my ears. Only thing that's weird is their mobile app to check in is glitchy. I miss the old school QR scanner and key tag.

I seriously love this place! There is a walk-in policy, so you never have to be bothered with scheduling an appointment and dealing with weird time slots. Jazmin at the front desk is a hoot, always greets everyone by name, and is easy to talk to. While all the doctors that I've seen there are great and have very different approaches I have to admit that Dr. Ault and Dr. Lai are my favorites. If you're on the fence, do it. The Joint is truly a life saver. I am a licensed massage therapist and see daily how hard muscles are trying to straighten the spine! The spine is to keep the head straight, if it is out of alignment muscles pull on each side to try to fix it. If I could give Lisa Bueno zero stars, I would, but unfortunately, one star is the minimum. My family and I have been going to The Joint Chiropractic for five years, originally at the Fairfax location. When Dr. Gee opened the Bristow office almost three years ago, we switched over, and now five of us go there regularly. My 10-year-old son, who has special needs and engages in self-injurious behavior like hitting himself, is one of those patients. On Saturday, 10/19, we went in for a visit, but the receptionist informed us that they were missing my son's original intake form, which is required to be seen. Without the form, they wouldn't allow him to proceed with his appointment. The receptionist insisted that we had never filled it out, which was frustrating since we've been coming for years. If we never completed the form, how have they been charging us this whole time without our authorization signature? I asked her to email me the form so I could fill it out later, as I was busy trying to manage my son, who was in the middle of hitting himself. However, Lisa Bueno, who showed absolutely no empathy for my son's special needs, kept telling the receptionist that unless the seven-page form was filled out immediately, he could not be seen—and they refused to email it. This was particularly shocking, as every other doctor, hospital, or specialist we've worked with has always been flexible, emailing us forms to fill out. Yet, Lisa was issuing orders without even being present in the office to witness the situation firsthand. The doctor on-site, who was very understanding, offered to help me fill out the form, but the receptionist then started yelling at him, saying he couldn't assist. This entire experience was the worst we've ever had. By the time we left, my son's forehead was bleeding due to the stress and chaos of the situation. I am appalled that someone like Lisa Bueno, who lacks basic empathy and professionalism toward a child with special needs, is in a position to represent three locations of such a well-regarded company. Her rigid, inhumane behavior and lack of flexibility in dealing with my son's condition were deeply troubling.

Dr. Douglas Nagel, is one of the best chiropractor that I have ever met. My issue was having severe back pain and my left arm elbow and forefinger was numb and tingling. I went to orthopedics before I came over here. What they did, was giving me pain killer and muscle relaxation medicine. It didn't helped me at all. Then I met Dr. Douglas Nagel. I still have little numbness in my forefinger. But my back pain and left arm and elbow issue is gone and I can feel that numbness is going away as well. I am visiting him about a month now. I got the membership as well. He gave me real good suggestions about what I would expect next or even what should I ask to my orthopedics. I would definitely recommend him.

This location and the staff is normally amazing. However, today's visit with Dr. Nagel was the exact opposite. I came in with extreme pain in my neck and upper back hoping for a little relief. He didn't even bother to ask what my issues were, just told me to sit on the table and turn my neck to the side. I then explained to him where the pain was and that it was extremely painful to turn my neck. He proceeded with the most basic "adjustment" I've ever had that lasted all of 45 seconds (no exaggeration). He offered no advice other than to go home and ice the area. I felt rushed and like my concerns weren't worth his time. Dr. Lai is by far the only one who takes the time to thoroughly examine you and does adjustments based on your needs.

I have been coming to the Joint Chiropractic care for the last 5 months and working with Dr. Nagel all this time. Found The Joint when my doctor and all the local Chiro doctors were booked and no one could squeeze me in. I was leaving that day to go out of town and was desperate with sciatic and lower back pain. Listen, Dr Lei is the best Joint doctor in the whole country. I've been a member going on a year now and I travel all over the country. I'm in the double digits on how many doctors I have seen since being a member. And I must say I am so grateful Dr.Lei is ours. She is amazing. Definitely call and get her schedule!
