After his new look at health, Dr. Shaun went to Palmer Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL. Shortly after starting he became a representative for Biotics Research, a medical professional only supplement company. He learned the ins and outs of eating right, the benefits of supplementing nutritional gaps, and how therapeutic nutraceuticals can change lives. After graduating from Palmer in December of 2013, he completed his Diplomate (certification) as a Chiropractic Internist specializing in diagnosis of in ternal disorders, and treating them with lifestyle and supplementation.

Growing up he stayed active by taking care of his parents’ property and participating in various sports. Dr Ben’s interest in Chiropractic began when he saw the benefits it provided his own mother who suffered from nearly crippling knee pain. Realizing he could help others with active and chronic pains the same way, he decided to serve his community through Chiropractic care.

After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from James Madison University in 2016, Dr. Ben attended Life University and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2020. Dr. Rachel Ruggieri grew up very active and loved to keep moving. She did ballet for ten years before transitioning to rugby during her senior year of high school, continuing to play throughout college. Through these experiences, she became fascinated with the complexity of the human body and developed a passion for understanding how to keep athletes healthy, resilient, and performing at their best. She earned her Bachelor’s degrees in Health Science from James Madison University in 2018 and Doctoral degree in Chiropractic at Parker University in 2022.

Her passion for chiropractic was reinforced through personal experience after recovering from an intense disc herniation where the disc had become severely worn down and healed without surgery. During chiropractic school, she also experienced the powerful benefits of regular wellness adjustments, noticing a significant improvement in her focus and academic performance.

This inspired Dr. Rachel to have a special interest in how chiropractic care can support individuals with neurodiversity by helping regulate and reduce nervous system overload. Dr. Rachel received more clinical training in supporting in this population and earned her Master’s degree in Neuroscience.

When Dr. Rachel is out of the office, she enjoys hiking, reading, weightlifting, and playing video games.
