Dr. Uhle was born and raised in Powell, Ohio. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise at Virginia Tech and was a member of the Hokies’ Track and Field team where he was an ACC conference champion and NCAA All-American in the pole vault. After graduating, he continued his training and served as a volunteer assistant coach for the VT pole vault squad.
While competing for the Hokies, Dr. Uhle learned the importance of exercise, conditioning, and preventative care to ensure that the human body is prepared for physical activity. Dr. Uhle credits his ability to perform at the collegiate level to wellness care, provided by his neighborhood chiropractor in his youth and his team chiropractor at Virginia Tech, keeping him primed for competition. This inspired him to pursue his chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic-FL in Port Orange, Florida.
Dr. Uhle is a freshly licensed chiropractor, having graduated in June 2022, and strives to educate his patients about the importance of movement, exercise, and regular maintenance care to prevent injury and manage pain symptoms. In his spare-time he enjoys cooking (especially homemade pizza), hiking with his dog, golfing, and reading up on the latest literature pertaining to conservative management of musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr. Brad L. Forbes, D.C., was raised on the east coast, and moved often to different regions with his father as an athletic coach, and recently relocated to Northern Virginia from California. He attended East Carolina University, studying sports science and later on went to complete his Chiropractic schooling at Life University College of Chiropractic. He loves spending his spare time outdoors, running, surfing, fishing and working out. He also loves spending time with his year-old English bulldog, Champ. Dr. Forbes’ has been in practice for over 17 years, and has owned and operated two multidisciplinary clinics before joining The Joint Chiropractic Team.
Dr. Forbes specializes in elite athletic performance, and has worked with a variety of professional, high school and college athletes. He had the opportunity to work for and be trained by Jeff Galloway, Olympic Marathon Medalist and New York Times best-selling author, doing runner gate analysis at Phiddippides in Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Forbes has had vast experience working all patient ranges, including newborn babies, pregnant women, and elderly patients. While in California, He also worked with a company on Bioidentical Hormones and PRP therapy.

Dr. Forbes traveled to India on a medical mission trip for over a month, treating thousands of patients in many different regions.
Dr. Forbes perfect dinner party would include Michael Jordan, Steve Prefontaine, and Ronald Reagan. He’d likely serve frog legs if he were hosting, as that is one thing you’ll ALWAYS find inside his fridge.
Dr. Shaun Adams was born and raised in Chambersburg, PA. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Shippensburg University. During this time he realized the importance and power of making healthy lifestyle choices, and lost 75 lbs. his last year of school.
After his new look at health, Dr. Shaun went to Palmer Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL. Shortly after starting he became a representative for Biotics Research, a medical professional only supplement company. He learned the ins and outs of eating right, the benefits of supplementing nutritional gaps, and how therapeutic nutraceuticals can change lives. After graduating from Palmer in December of 2013, he completed his Diplomate (certification) as a Chiropractic Internist specializing in diagnosis of in ternal disorders, and treating them with lifestyle and supplementation.
Dr. Shaun has owned practices in Pennsylvania and Colorado, and even worked for The Joint in Loveland, CO. Now he and his wife own small farm in Nelson County, and working at The Joint in Charlottesville allows him to serve the community through chiropractic as well as build and sustain a farm with his family. Other than farming, his interests include competitive shooting, exercising, and playing ice hockey.
