Dr. Ty Adams is originally from Salisbury, MD but is proud to call Richmond home. She began her career as an Army Captain in 2002 but over time realized her love for working with the human body.
Since then, she obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2012 from National University of Health Sciences. In addition to her doctorate degree, she has a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Howard University.
Just a few months after graduating from chiropractic school, she decided to move abroad to Ghana to set up her own practice and share her passion for chiropractic. She has also practiced in Amsterdam, Nicaragua, Texas, and Illinois over the years. Although she adored her time oversees, she’s happy to be back in the States with her family, doing what she loves!
He attended Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Ga. and graduated in 1999. He started off in a very busy clinic in New York City in 1999 and has been practicing for over 20 years. He started with the Joint in January 2020 in NOVA and recently moved to the current location in January 2021. He was raised in Florida and has lived in Virginia for 13 years. His hobbies include almost anything that involves working with his hands. He has one son and an Australian cattle dog.
