Meet The Doctors

Dr. Vernice J. Taylor, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Willow Lawn

Vernice J. Taylor D.C is a native of Virginia. She completed her undergraduate work in Biology at Virginia State University. Upon graduation, Dr. Taylor worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician for several years at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. There, she aided in filling many prescriptions for patients and was awakened to the notion that drugs and surgery may not be everyone’s answer to health and well-being. Her search for an alternative lead her to chiropractic. Dr. Taylor is a 2003 graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic, currently Parker University, in Dallas, Texas.

“There is no effect without a cause. Chiropractors adjust causes. Others treat effects.” B. J. Palmer

Dr. Andre Charles, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Willow Lawn

Dr. Andre Charles was raised in a military family leading him to grow up in Georgia and later move to Florida during his high school years. He attended Ave Maria University where he assisted the Gyrenes toward their 2013 NAIA football conference championship and completed his studies in Exercise Science.

After experiencing countless injuries, Dr. Charles decided to devote himself to helping people become as functional as possible. In 2021, he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker University in Dallas, TX and now focuses his adjustments on decreasing pain, decreasing risk of injury, improving athleticism and increasing longevity.

He enjoys spending time away from work with his wife and three children. They spontaneously decided to move to Virginia for the rolling hills, seasonal weather and historic sceneries.

“A loving heart is far wiser than a doctor’s mind.” - Saint Therese of Lisieux

When not working, Dr Jones enjoys music and reading. Along with his wife Gwen and son Peter, he resides in Short Pump.

Dr. Chris Karmilovich, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Willow Lawn
