When I first came to him in April, I was struggling with a frozen shoulder on my right side and was in a lot of pain with very limited mobility. Dr Peyton just gave me the best adjustment I haven’t felt that well adjusted in 4 years. He used the Y strap and got my neck all the way down. I will be going out of my way to come back and see him from now on. 10 stars if you ask me, I highly recommend him!!!

I walked in and spoke with Miss Rebecca, she was very friendly and informative. I then met with Dr. Payton. I've never been to a chiropractor before. I've been suffering with neck and back pain for a couple of months now. I've tried to get in with my regular chiropractor with no luck. Out of desperation, I searched for places open on the weekend and found The Joint. I went in not expecting much and knew they have wellness plans that would probably be pushed on me. I thought "I'm not getting talked into that!" Well, the front desk girl (I never remember names) was super friendly, funny and has great taste in music. The doctor was very welcoming and knowledgeable. It was the quickest most efficient appointment I've ever had and I honestly left feeling amazing! I kept saying all day "I'm so glad I went in there today!" They didn't even have to ask me to sign up for the wellness plan, I asked to!

My hubby and I needed care, me for sleeping on a too fluffy pillow which exacerbated neck stiffness, and found Joint Chiropractic. We decided to check it out in person at the Stafford, VA location. Farrah greeted us so warmly and sincerely that we immediately felt welcomed. She listened with true compassion and a desire to understand as we explained our various aches and pains:) She then patiently explained the various payment options to get the number of adjustments we would likely need. Because of her kindness and absolute charm in dealing with us and all the other customers that walked in (truly a steady stream) we felt at ease in coming up with a monthly paid membership for me. And a package deal for him, which was discounted due to military affiliation. We felt immediate relief from the worst of our pains. We also took advantage of the fact that we could be seen in another state over the holidays. They were great too! I have continued to see Dr. Payton regularly and am feeling so much better. No more crick in my neck and increased movement overall. The vibe is very relaxed yet productive. Every single staff member is warm, personable and helpful. I’m typically reticent to post reviews related to medical care but feel confident that this practice cares about its clients and is there — available at convenient times throughout the week — to ensure progress is achievable and able to be maintained. Joint Chiropractic is a very professional company that I’m happy to recommend!

When i first came to the Joint Chiropractor I could barely walk. Dr G was able tell that there was a pinch nerve in my back that went down my leg to my feet. He took the time to get to the root of the problem. Needless to say I am able to walk with no pain., I continue to go for maintenance. Kathy and Lisa are awesome. Great customer service. If you are reluctant to see a chiropractor, don't be. Visiting The Joint Chiropractic was the best thing I have done in a long time. I was apprehensive, but after 20 years of head, neck, and shoulder discomfort and now four consecutive days pain, I gave it a try. I have tried physical therapy in the past, which did not help me, and deep tissue massages, which offered short-term relief. I have now finally found a strategy to manage the discomfort. Dr. Black is great. He explained everything he was doing and answered all of my questions. With the perfect balance of professionalism and skill, I highly recommend Dr. Black and The Joint Chiropractic.

I am currently down here in Virginia, visiting from Pennsylvania. I was suffering from locked jaw in my right side and unable to eat without intense pain. I was recommended by friends to go to a chiropractor to see if the my could work it out for me. I got online and found Joint Chiropractic! I was shocked that they were open on Sundays and quickly made my appt!! The Dr was incredibly nice and talked me through everything he was going to do! It was extremely painful which he had warned me about , but let me tell you the relief I have right now just 5 hours after is incredible!! I was at a 8/9 when I got there and now I'm at around a 2!!!

My wife and I came here for her Mother’s Day gift and not once did the receptionist mention anything about a monthly subscription, my wife was scammed by them for $320 in total, $80 each month, they lied and said that all she had to pay was the initial $100 fee and then $10 each visit after for up to 10 visits, instead they billed her each month for $80, I will be filing a BBB complaint and posting on yelp and social media as well. You guys picked the wrong one to scam trust and believe I will make sure all of my friends and family post on google reviews and review on yelp about your scam, my sister alone has over 300k followers on social media platforms and 100k subscribers on YouTube and she is from stafford as well so get ready to be called out for what you truly are scammers!…. You can either resolve this issue of fraudulent charges by sending her money back, might I add, MONEY that you guys took with NO SERVICES PROVIDED other than the initial visit, or you can face the consequences of your scamming tactics. Believe me when I say this is just the beginning. This is the first of my reviews, next is yelp, then BBB, followed by Facebook, Instagram, and twitter. In just one session today, they were able to bring me some relief from my shoulder and neck pain that two trips to urgent care and an ER (that costed 5x as much) was not able to help. I saw Dr. Ault, and he was incredibly patient and understanding and walked me through my first chiropractic session like a true pro. I was thrown this recommendation from a coworker, and was able to get in to be seen during my lunch break on the same day, within two hours of calling! I will definitely be going weekly now. I want to start off by apologizing to the lady at the front desk I do not remember your name but super sweet during the entire paperwork ordeal as well as the setting up of my account. Dr Forbes was straight to the point. Something I truly appreciate. I want to say this whole ordeal from the time I walked in until I walked out might have been 20 minutes. Once I got to the back I think it was about 10 minutes. The conversation of what I do for a living, where it hurts, how it hurts on my body to him giving me a check up and a alignments. I was super skeptical of places like this. So many people see on social media where the person gets all cracked up and they hop up all I feel a thousand times better. I used to think wonder how much they paid them to say that. Well I'm here to tell you that they didn't pay me anything and after I got my alignment I immediately felt 1000% better. Looking forward to my next visit!

UPDATE: I moved to GA, and so I havent been here in a while. This is still the best joint location Ive ever been too. Dr. G adjusted me and fixed me all the way up. The front office staff is amazing and when I express concerns or pains, the chiropractor always focuses on those areas. I usually leave with a lot of pain relief from the adjustment. This location is fantastic. There's one doctor I'm not a fan of (Dr. Forbes), but I don't go when he is there. I would recommend going on Monday or Tuesday. Quality care at an affordable price. After just one visit, I felt better than I had in three years. This was my first time at a chiropractor so I don't have any other experiences to base my review off of, but I highly recommend Dr. G if you're having discomfort and pain. I used a new patient special, the paperwork was quick and easy to fill out. I walked in at 10 AM on a weekday morning as soon as they opened, I was the only patient so my visit was quick with no waiting around. Dr. G reviewed my medical history with me, he listened to where my pain and discomfort was. He did an evaluation to find my troubled areas and explained the whole process as we went. When finished he gave me a quick run down of what to expect after my adjustment, emailed stretches to help in between sessions and recommendations on follow ups. The staff was friendly, helpful and not pushy to get me into signing contracts or anything else sales related. They also offer military discounts. I highly recommend Dr. G and the staff at The Joint in Stafford

It was my first time going to a chiropractor. I was experiencing lower and mid back pain for months. My friend told me about The Joint and the next week I walked in. Let me tell you!! Sign up was easy and I saw the doctor in less than 20 minutes. He asked me questions to assess my needs and ensure he treated the areas causing me pain. Y’all Dr. G put something on me and aligned and cracked joints I didn’t even know existed. My spine popped like bubble wrap. Immediately my body felt 10x better than it did when I walked in. Honestly, I do not recommend this location. I have been to the one in Woodbridge and it’s amazing, I had to come to this one because it was open when the Woodbridge location was closed. The equipment is old, the front desk staff was friendly but the chiropractor didn’t really make me feel comfortable and didn't do half as much as the female chiropractor in Woodbridge. He didn’t address what I said was hurting me or crack a single thing, just kept propping the bed up and dropping it…

This office is cool so long as you get the right doctor. DR. G and Dr. Ramos are the better doctors. Forbes is way too unapproachable and appears as if he lacks interpersonal skills. Making a rushed, mediocre and sometimes rude visit. Plan your visit accordingly. Great service otherwise.

The only reason I’m giving this place the 2 stars is because of Dr. G! He is always helpful and extremely knowledgeable! I ran in for an alignment done I cannot move the right side of my body! My neck is extremely stiff and it’s causing my shoulder and shoulder blade an immense amount of pain! However, the extremely rude “greeter” Michelle whom showed no emotion and repeated EVERYTHING I SAID finally checked me in and then Dr. Brad Forbes comes from the back and says “I hope you didn’t put her in pending mode yet. She hasn’t been here in 6 months!” So I say ok well what for that mean for me? As to which they both just stare at me! So I ask again! Michelle says “well you’d have to do paperwork!” So I say ok I’ll do the paperwork, I just really need to be seen. I can’t move my right side. They both look at me again! At this point I read the room from resting face Michelle and Extremely rude Forbes that they could care less! He finally breaks his silence and says we close at 5. So I say whatever, fine and leave. Then I see they’re just standing around. So instead of helping a patient that is in extreme pain he watched me through the door as I done to my husband on the phone about what just happened! Do I go back inside and ask… what is your corporate number? Dr. Forbes says “we don’t have one here, you might have to look on the website. But we don’t have one here…what would your complaint be anyway!?” EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL INDIVIDUALS AND THEY BOTH ARE NOT wearing masks in the middle of this Omicron surge!!!! Michelle needs customer service training BAD!!!! She shouldn’t be greeting or checking anyone in anywhere!!! And as for Dr. Forbes!!!! Once you go into service to help others that’s your job! To help people! Paperwork could’ve been done, your demeanor towy patients is sickening and I would let you lay a finger on my or my family! I specifically drove to this location as it was my favorite!!! But if I EVER do return I’m definitely calling to make sure Dr. G is there!!!

I had pretty bad back pain that developed over the course of a week. I felt desperate to do something so on a Saturday, I searched google for a chiropractor open on the weekends. I found 1 but they weren't taking new patients. I found another but they didn't have anything available. So I sat at home with no relief. Later, I heard there was one on 610 that takes walk-ins. So before I made the trip from the other side of stafford, I tried to call but no one answered. I checked the hours on google just to make sure I would be okay and saw the closed at 5pm so I would be okay. I got there at 3:50pm and they said they stop taking walk-ins at 4 but they could make me an appointment for another day. I said it's 3:50 and the man at the desk said "but there is paperwork to fill out". I was so confused about that response and with my pain level I got aggravated and said, "well, I'm in a lot of pain right now so that doesn't help me." And I walk out. Nothing was said to me on my way out. Really disappointed about the outcome. I tried to avoid that by calling ahead but I guess they were to busy to answer the phone or take the walk-ins they advertise for on the front door.

After 24 years of active-duty Army service and even more as an avid basketball player, a toll has been taken on my body. My first visit to The Joint Chiropractic was informative and rejuvenating. I'm not sure how to say it any better. I will be back! (No pun intended.) I close in saying the staff is professional and courteous and Doc G was great! I believe the price points are beyond fair. Only go if Dr. Gizaw is in, the other guy who does part time work is very specific to do two or three procedures at most as my husband and I both came in with lower back discomfort and neither of us left with it resolved. That being said Dr. Gizaw is wonderful and thorough! Spend your money and visits wisely by calling ahead to make sure you are seen by a true professional.

Dr. Wegayeu Gizaw, D.C. and Dr. Brad Forbes are awesome. I love the fact that they both listen, there's no fuss, and no ramming products down your throat, just straight forward talk and adjustments. Not to mention the price!!!!! I recommend them hands down. My sciatica is already starting to feel better and my neck is no longer in pain.

I've been going to the joint down in Stafford many times. But then the pandemic hit and things changed so I couldn't go. I was finally able to go back a few months ago and masks were now mandated in the state of Virginia for all businesses. Upon arrival the receptionist wasn't wearing a mask. When the doctor saw me he also was not wearing a mask. I had to ask them to please put their masks on which they reluctantly did. Fast forward several months later, I go back again. Once again I'm greeted by a receptionist who is not wearing a mask so I stand in the doorway and wait for her to put it on. She does finally. I also noticed that two people in the lobby were not wearing their mask properly. Not too big of a deal I just sat far away from them. As I was filling out the forms several men came in with no mask. So I left to fill out my form outside. When I came back I had noticed that the receptionist had not told them to put their masks on and everyone was now sitting with no masks on including the two people who are there originally. There was about seven to eight people total in a small lobby not wearing a mask during a pandemic. I immediately left. If this location cannot enforce a simple use of a cloth mask during a pandemic it makes me wonder if they're probably failing in other sanitation practices as well, like hand washing or sanitizing surfaces that have been used. I am not going back again because I felt incredibly disrespected during this time of crisis and as a "medical" practice I would expect better.

Great staff. Friendly and upbeat. Went in filled out the forms and had my evaluation and adjustment. I was giving some stretches I can do to help with my back. I signed up for one of the packages that they offer and I am looking forward to using it. This is one of those things that you do to maintain a healthier living. Give it a try. It's not going to be $1000.00 of dollars. $29.00 dollars and you get adjusted and a consultation. Your choice if you are wanting to try something different and you may feel better. I did.

I normally go to the joint in Texas but I stopped by this one while on a business trip. Dr. G did a great job fixing me up and made sure to focus on my hot spots instead of just going down the list of things to adjust and moving on. I'd recommend this place to anybody.

I’ve been going to The Joint for several years now. They have helped me more times than I can think of. I’ve had neck pain, causing migraines. I’ve had pinched nerves in my neck, causing numbness in my arm. Between Dr. G, Dr. Payton, Dr. Ramos, Dr. Heather and all of the other doctors, my problems have been significantly lessened or even eliminated. The staff, Grace, Kim, and Lisa, are always friendly and very energetic. This is the only place I will ever go for an adjustment.

This is a get in and get out kind of place, but you get what you pay for. If you need an in depth treatment then you need to look elsewhere, but this is a good place for maintenance adjustments and there is always a friendly staff.

For the price it's worth it, very fast paced, and are in an out really quickly. Can't beat it when you can get adjustments for as low as $20 dollars. A little bit too fast paced for me, but the staff was really friendly the price was right, and felt a bit better afterwards.

I come to this branch of The Joint every Friday as the perfect end to my week and to relax before hitting 95 traffic on my way home. Dr. Joplin is fantastic! My back is always 100% better and my whole well-being feels righted. I’ve been to other chiropractors in the past and he goes way above and beyond! If a muscle is causing a problem, he has helped smooth it away for the adjustment. He’s always willing to take the extra time to be thorough and gentle with the process. His entire manner and approach is soothing because of how relaxed and genuinely caring he is too all patients! There is very rarely a wait time when I go, but when there is the line moves swiftly and efficiently. I can’t express how much I recommend this location and Dr. Joplin! Thanks to all the amazing people here!
