disappointed in their billing practice and cancellation process. To cancel you have to fill out a form sent by SMS. We receive promotional texts but never received the cancellation form. We assumed we were cancelled but two months later still had charges against our HSA account. We called in again and still didn't get the text message so we went in physically to cancel. They refused to refund the 1 day old charge and the prior month for which we thought we had cancelled. Pretty sus.

First they gonna ask you to go for wellness plan and once you signed up for wellness plan they took your credit card number and even you don’t visit them anymore the will keep charging your card every month until you realize where your money is going and upon calling they gonna tell you that you need to come and cancelled the service at the store. She fixed my shoulder, she got my neck to snap, my lower back has not adjusted this well in over two years. Bonus she explained why everything was hurting and how things should be. DO NOT GO! First time going there, was told I have “scoliosis” right after being told the “doctor” was not a real doctor. I do not have scoliosis. He also claimed my back pain is due to stomach sleeping and I could choke on my tongue if I continue to sleep like so (which is not true.) The pain in my back also has gotten worse after the visit. I didn’t have neck pain before, but now I do. Finally, I was told the best treatment plan was going to be $80 plus $20 per visit??? Literally insane. Overall, I felt very uncomfortable being treated by someone called “doctor” who knew nothing but false information.

Felt like a scam... easy to sign up... they take your money. However sometimes the location is closed with no warning. Also, couldn't cancel membership over the phone. Had to drive in to cancel... then they try and get you to sign a different plan. Then I wanted a refund for not be happy and not using the service and they said they don't offer refunds. I've had a good experience so far being seen by Dr Susie and Dr Marla at the Hales Corners location. They listen to your concerns and offer good advice along with doing good adjustments! Wait times are also very minimal by having no appointments. I would recommend giving them a try if you're considering seeing a chiropractor.

Did some research, took a shot, and I am very pleased with The Joint, Hales Corners. As a nurse, I am thankful for a business that operates successfully and very reasonably outside of the grip of health insurance. ***update!*** I really don't know what I would do without Dr. Suzie. I do know I would spend a lot more time in pain without her. I did a little happy dance when I woke up today. Thank you!!!! My rib had been out of place for about 3 weeks. The pain was manageable some days and excruciating others. I saw my chiro in Illiniois a couple of times (whom is great) and found short-term relief, but yesterday, Dr. Suzie put my rib back where it belongs!! It was intense, but I slept through the night for the first time in 3 weeks and finally felt rested. I'm so happy she's my new chiropractor right down the street!

Whatever doctor I just had seemed like a scam artist. He seems to lack social skills dealing with clients. Tried talking about what I was dealing with and a little about me and he basically told me to stop talking and would interrupt as soon as I said anything else. Started his routine and magically knew all sorts of things by twisting my one wrist and finger tapping my back a few times. Seemed like a gag. I’ve had chiropractic care for years. Given the joint a few tries now at two locations. Not impressed with any of the 3 doctors I’ve had.

Let me tell you,you'll feel better than ever at the JOINT. Honestly once that I've tried for the first time a couple years ago, here at the JOINT. I feel relieved and the pain I used to have; significantly changed my symptoms and stiffness are gone after each adjustment. Here at Hales Corners with Susie and Angellia, who are amazing chiropractors and my favorite but everyone is great and helpful. I've learned to listen to my body and we, as couple, we visit THE JOINT together and it does change our mood. I can continue working standing for several hours, knowing that THE JOINT has my back! Rita at the front desk was very nice and helpful. BUT once I met Dr. Rick he was very rude, condescending and talked to me like a child. I had some hip pain and he shamed me for not coming in sooner. Also I’ve had neck/shoulder pain since I was a teen and question why my parents never had me checked out for that. Beyond rude. Before the adjustment even began, I walked out!!! Other customers seems to like it here, but I won’t allow someone who’s supposed to HELP me, talk down to me. Maybe that’s why he doesn’t have his own practice, and works at the Jiffy Lube of chiropractics. Again, Rita was very kind. One more thing, he also insinuated he can make my adjustment more painful if he chooses to. Come on.

I forgot which doctor it was but when I went when they first opened for a consultation visit he was very openly being suggestive and disgusting. I felt horribly uncomfortable and couldn’t wait to get out of there. It’s already uncomfortable enough being touched by a stranger but to have them say suggestive things in your ear while they do that is awful. Ladies don’t go.

I came in with a bad neck and back. Dr. Rick listened to me, and did an amazing job. He even helped my wrist that was feeling a bit funky. After a day of relaxing and using an ice pack. I'm feeling back to normal :)
