Local Entrepreneur awarded 5th Arizona clinic
Local entrepreneur plans to open 3 clinics
The Joint Corp. has announced the awarding of its 5th Arizona franchise license to Mrs. Christina Elias.
The Joint….the chiropractic place is a leading chiropractic health and wellness center specializing in affordable, convenient and accessible chiropractic care. There are no appointments, no x-rays, no start up fees and the cost of most adjustments is about $20. The membership-based chiropractic franchise offers even lower rates to members which start at just $12.25 per adjustment.
The concept was founded by Dr. Fred Gerretzen or "Dr. Fred", whose vision for The Joint is to transform the traditional and somewhat confused concept of chiropractic care into a simple and affordable reality. The Joint creates a new philosophy of chiropractic care where clients can utilize chiropractic treatment as an integral part of their health and wellness program. This is achieved by offering affordable chiropractic care along with ongoing patient education. Dr. Fred states "It is our mission to improve your quality of life through affordable Chiropractic care."
Mrs. Elias was born and raised in El Paso Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas at El Paso, she knew that entrepreneurship was her calling. Honing her business skills while running several retail concepts in the El Paso area, she and her husband Mark moved to Arizona to find a business to start up. A loyal patient and believer of the many benefits of chiropractic care, upon learning of The Joint, Mrs. Elias knew this was the perfect business. "I utilize chiropractic care on a regular basis and immediately loved the idea of not having to go through my insurance company to get approval, not having to schedule an appointment in advance and $49 for 4 adjustments - it's truly an amazing business concept." Elias says.
Mrs. Elias' first location will be in Phoenix at 16th Street and Camelback with an anticipated opening date of January 2011. She was also awarded additional locations in the Arrowhead and Mesa area.
