Local Breast Cancer Survivor Proud to Introduce The Joint Chiropractic to Fox Valley Community
New chiropractic office will offer quality non-insurance care for patients of all ages
Aurora, ILL.—March 3, 2017—The Joint Chiropractic®, a national chiropractic brand, has announced the opening of its newest clinic at 1480 Orchard Road, Suite 110. This is the brand’s ninth location in Illinois and its first in Aurora.
The Joint offers an innovative, patient-friendly model that allows guests access to affordable, quality chiropractic care on their terms. Appointments aren’t necessary, the clinic offers extended hours that include evenings and weekends and the need for insurance is eliminated as The Joint’s membership plans and packages are typically less costly than most insurance copays.
The Joint Chiropractic – Aurora-Orchard Road’s grand opening celebration will take place on March 9-11. It is open to the public and will feature the following events:
- Thursday, March 9: Ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 a.m., when the clinic officially opens.
- Friday, March 10: Ladies Open House, an event sponsored by local female business owners that will feature wine and cheese tastings, appetizers, swag bags and more.
- Thursday, March 9 through Saturday, March 11: Grand opening weekend clinic tours, refreshments and raffles. Prizes include items such as a wellness gift basket, 50” TV, Apple Watch and iPad.
The mastermind behind the opening of The Joint’s newest clinic is Coreen Cammarano, a local mother of four opening her first business after surviving breast cancer. Aside from her family, Cammarano is most passionate about her Aurora community and helping others who have or are currently fighting breast cancer.
Having a chiropractor husband, Cammarano was able to receive regular chiropractic adjustments during her own cancer battle.
“If it wasn’t for chiropractic care, I feel like I would’ve struggled more from the physical pain,” said Cammarano. “I was in a lot of pain from the postural difference after reconstruction surgery, just the intrusive nature of the surgery – you go in physically one way and come out a different person. The years I spent doing chemo caused me so much pain and there’s not much you can do about it, especially without medication. Chiropractic care was absolutely vital for me during that process.”
She considers herself fortunate and believes that everyone should have access to quality chiropractic care.
“Cancer is expensive! For 99.9% of the breast cancer survivors that I personally know, traditional chiropractic wouldn’t be in the budget,” she stated. Most people don’t have access to chiropractic care. And these monetary issues aren’t unique to the cancer community; anyone looking for quality chiropractic care or dealing with back or neck problems has these same concerns.
“I believe that patients’ health care choices shouldn’t be dictated by what insurance policy they have – or don’t have. My goal is to take away that stress by using The Joint model, which eliminates the need for insurance and offers convenient hours and locations with a no-appointment policy.”
Cammarano couldn’t be more proud to bring The Joint Chiropractic – Aurora-Orchard Road to her community. The clinic will be open seven days a week: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
