Dr. Jessica Walker graduated from Palmer West in San Jose, CA in 2006. Prior to moving to Huntsville, she and her husband owned their own chiropractic practice in Southern California for 15 years where they specialized in Personal Injury and Family Care. She works with patients of all ages, but especially loves to work with children. As a child, she suffered from debilitating migraines, but was successfully treated when she began to receive chiropractic care. Based on this reason and many more, she believes that wellness should be taught as a lifelong habit to young children in order to obtain an optimum healthy quality of life. Dr Walker utilizes the Palmer Diversified Technique, where first, an analysis of your spine is performed. With the malposition of one or more spinal bones identified, a specific manual thrust is administered, based on experience, practice and a thorough understanding of spinal mechanics.
Along with her husband and 3 children, Dr Walker enjoys exploring the trails, cuisine and culture of her new home state of Alabama.
Dr. Aeriel Green became part of The Joint Chiropractic’s team of local healthcare providers in 2021 when she began serving residents in the Huntsville area, where she continues doing the work she finds so rewarding.
“The best thing about being a chiropractor is playing a part in helping families live life to the fullest by keeping their nervous system functioning at 100 percent,” she says.
The second-best thing about being a chiropractor, she says, is working alongside her chiropractor husband.
Dr. Aeriel, as her patients call her, enjoys spending time with her dogs, maltipoo Bentley and Labrador retriever Chip, playing games with her family, and shopping for home decor.
She grew up in northwest Alabama and, after transferring from Mississippi State to Life University in Marietta, Ga., received her bachelor’s degree in general studies and doctorate in chiropractic.
“Once I learned about pediatric chiropractic, I knew that was my calling,” Dr. Aeriel says. “I have always loved kiddos and knew I wanted to work with them. Knowing that I could work with kids while also helping them live life to the fullest, there was no doubt becoming a chiropractor was meant to be.”
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. Aeriel hates black coffee, so the one thing that she always keeps stocked in her kitchen is organic vanilla oat milk coffee creamer.
If she could bring together any four people from history for her ideal dinner party, Dr. Aeriel says she would love to sit down with Jesus, quarterback Tim Tebow, Princess Diana, and Walt Disney: “I would love to hear their stories in person and learn more about their lives.”
Although she has traveled often, Dr. Aeriel says becoming a parent eclipses every other journey she has taken. But among those places she has been, she loves Disney World. “I love all things Disney and have been there many times,” she says. “That is actually where my husband and I went on our honeymoon. I would love to go every year."
