Extremely disappointing experience and absolutely not worth the money. I paid $35 per month for four months, a total of $140, and after my experience I honestly feel like I wasted my money. I have a lower back disc problem, which was one of the main reasons I expected an actual chiropractic treatment and proper attention to my condition. Instead, my final appointment lasted less than three minutes. There was no meaningful evaluation and, in my experience, no actual treatment directed toward my lower back problem. The visit consisted of a very brief use of a vibrating massage device, one quick adjustment, and stretching both of my legs. That was it. No detailed assessment, no meaningful hands-on treatment, no explanation of what was being treated, and no individualized treatment plan. I understand that every patient and treatment plan can be different, but a session lasting less than three minutes felt incredibly rushed and superficial, especially after paying for a monthly membership. I came here expecting professional chiropractic care and treatment for my back concerns. I left feeling that essentially nothing had been done. After paying $140 over four months, I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and will be requesting a refund. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this place

Prior to 2025 I was on a monthly plan and went in weekly for maintenance adjustments. In 2025, I decided to stop the monthly plan and go to the single visit option. It has been some time since I needed an adjustment but recently decided to go in for a maintenance adjustment to my neck, back, and left hip. I'm well aware of my body's areas which tend to have misalignment issues and the corrective treatment needed. I know for sure that they can be addressed with a single visit. I have to say that the treatment I had done today was $55 wasted. The doctor made a very pathetic effort to adjust me and it was obvious that he was only going through the motions with no intention of correcting my misalignments on this visit. His intention was to have me get on a plan and have come back multiple times to address the issues. The Joint Chiropractic's motivation is now obvious to me and it is all about the money not the patient's well being. I will not be returning to this establishment. Buyer Beware!

The WORST first time experience for my Dad. He needed help with the tablet forms and when I asked the receptionist for help she refused to help me...not once but twice. Then she gave us attitude about me helping him sign the forms. Then the male receptionist chimed in to defend her and when I said she was rude he said "well I was on the phone so I don't know what was said". If you don't know then don't get involved. My dad was nervous about his first visit and now he's completely turned off to chiropractors. Such a shame.

I’ve been going to chiropractor for years, when I moved to Tucson I’ve had a hard time finding a chiropractor that could actually adjust until I found Dr. Mike. I’d would have given 5 stars but he’s not always at the Marana location so I sometimes have to go to other locations. The office staff are friendly and helpful and so are the other chiropractors but Dr. Mike the best. Thank you

It’s always a crap shoot going to a new place especially you’re out of town. I had a back issue that needed to be addressed on a Sunday…not good. I’ve never used The Joint before so I was holding my breath. I can honestly say the whole experience was completely positive. The front desk was welcoming, the intake was thorough and professional (the web application was detailed clean and easy to follow), the doctor was kind, took his time to explain things, and was personable. I was expecting a drive thru experience instead I made some new friends.

This was my first time to see a chiropractor. The doctor was personable and explained things very well. I just wish I could have had minute to relax before he began popping me cuz I feel like I was so tense and nervous that yeah I popped but it hurt and I don't think it hurts so bad I think that if person is more relaxed when you go to pop them it it makes it so much nicer I've had my back adjusted before just not by a chiropractor by my physical therapist.

Hi there, my name is Tiffany Marshall and I’m a registered nurse and I have been having so much pain in my right shoulder after lifting furniture for about nine months now. It used to be 5 stars. I miss Dr.Mary. I've been going to this location regularly for over two years. Dr. Mary got me from barely being able to walk or move my right arm, to feeling 100%. More than 100%! After she left, I didn't go for a few months, which was fine as Dr. Mary got me to the point where I only needed to go a few times per year. I had some pains over the last couple of weeks so I went in and saw Dr. Mike for the second time ever. He was the very first to see me back when I first went to this location. And I've refused to let him touch me again. If Dr. Mary wasn't in. I didn't go. A week ago I went in and Mike was the only Dr. there. And he set me back at least a year in my mobility recovery. Seriously! He undid at least a year of what Mary worked so hard to get me to. I hurt as bad as I every have. I have given three stars only because I hope that there's another Dr. there that's actually qualified to work on people.

Overall a good experience going in for a couple of adjustments. Experienced and knowledgeable chiropractors. Friendly front desk personnel. However, it was made quite clear that selling packages is not just recommended, but highly incentivized from management as the front desk and especially my chiropractor strongly advised for the 6-pack when they knew one adjustment would be enough. The goal of those that work in medicine is to offer solutions, not sell packages for profit maximization. For those with ongoing issues, they may make more sense. But for those with minor injuries where one adjustment will suffice, be advised the packages or monthly subscription will be pushed on you and it’s your call to gauge if a “cured patient is a lost patient.”

Dr. Mike, I have never had a worse experience with a chiropractor. He yanked and cranked so forcefully that I was barely able to walk out. I'm currently sitting in agony, barely slept, and kinda thinking about getting an MRI to see what the heck is going on in there. I will definitely NOT be returning to the joint today, tomorrow, or ever. And now I'm stuck paying the monthly fee for 6 more visits... I would suggest that you find another place for your care. When Dr Mary was there, she was much more concerned with your needs than her reviews or scolding you for missing a couple of days because life gets busy. Too bad the company wore her out... The Joint is not the same.

I'm visiting Arizona for 5 weeks and had surgery on my shoulder prior to coming. While doing Physical therapy at ATI was talking with one of the therapists, had some issues with my neck and upper back. I was referred to The Joint chiropractic. I got in that day, was treated and pain and headache subsided. Was treated extremely well by the front desk workers and the Chiropractor. Would definitely recommend if you need chiropractic care.

DRIVE TO ORACLE AND MAGEE LOCATION. Every franchise has a bad location. This one has to be it. My daughter is in worse pain than when she went there. I went 3 days later. Lady couldn't adjust anything but my neck. I asked to have elbows adjusted. All she did was squeeze my ***QUESTION *** How does squeezing my bicep adjust elbow??

Worst experience possible these people are not here to help you they are here for your money and only to fix your very minor discomforts. I went in with a pain in my back . Didn’t fall , didn’t hurt my self in anyway just in a lot of pain . They rudely denied me service saying I need to get a $500.00 x ray before getting seen… it seems like this place just wants customers that are just there to get very minor discomforts fixed and refuse to take actual patients . I happily took my service to That’s the Spot on university they took me in immediately and I walked out happy and fixed . Don’t bother going here if you need a real Chiropractor.

I’ve been coming here weekly for about a year now and I have never ever had a complaint. Dr. Mary is amazing and so so sweet; even when she has back to back patients and hasn’t had time to eat, drink, or use the restroom. The receptionists are also so friendly, kind, helpful, and never make you feel like an inconvenience. I love that they don’t go through insurance, because for me everything to do with insurance is a hassle and a half. They explain everything in detail and make sure you understand what you’re signing up for is under stood. I put off going for years out of so many fears and past issues with other chiropractors, and I will never go anywhere else. Dr. Mary REALLY takes her time with you and listens to all of your concerns, and is such a sweetheart. Honestly wish I could put her in my pocket and bring her everywhere with me. I really wish they had an option that you could call and put your name in the queue, but I understand that that is easier said than done. This location is so amazing top to bottom, have recommended to countless people and will continue <3 thanks besties you are all amazing

I've been dealing with back issues for years, but started having correlated anxiety attacks. My first visit with Dr. Shane has already given me more relief than I've felt in years. Both him and the front desk took their time with me which I really appreciate and even without insurance, the price is significantly better than I was expecting. Will be returning regularly!

This place started out as a great place to help people, but has turned into a joke. They are closed on Saturdays now, and they have an hour wait on Sundays. They say it's due to not being able to keep doctors. The front desk tells you it will be about 20-25 mins, but its much closer to 45 mins to an hour. Meanwhile the guy at the front desk is making sure his hair looks good, while he checks his Insta and Tik-tok on his phone. One young lady walked out today and summed it up perfectly; "The whole point of the Joint is to be able to get in and get a quick adjustment. I've been waiting an hour, this is ridiculous."

The joint marana has some great doctors. Dr Mary and Dr Mike are especially awesome. Hannah is super sweet and helpful at the front and wait times are usually not too bad. I recommend this as a place to get and stay in good physical shape.

As far as I know, Dr. Mike McGurn alone at the Joint in Tucson, routinely administers the "special neck adjustment" technique called "face down cervical rotary break" that is very rare for patients to receive. I feel like this type of neck adjustment holds better and is less tedious than the conventional neck adjustment techniques available from nearly all other chiropractors you might encounter, anywhere else. Dr. McGurn is usually at the Marana Joint location at 8150 N Cortaro Rd Suite 150, Marana, AZ 85743 every Sunday, and occasionally at other Tucson Joint locations.

A friend told me I MUST go visit Dr. Mary, and more specifically, that she was the GOAT and Rules the Roost. He wasn’t lying. Totally happy with how she worked her magic and I learned a few things as well. Hannah was a delight to meet and talk with as well - she restored my faith in the youth of America! Dr Mary is so wonderful! I started seeing her after I broke my back as a last ditch effort to get rid of the pain and I’m so glad I did! She is so kind, knowledgeable, thorough and she has literally taken my pain from a 10 to a 1 on the pain scale!! Id recommend her to EVERYONE!!! She is located at The Joint on Cortaro in the Arizona Pavilions. HOWEVER!!!! This past Sunday I had to go in because my neck tightened up and had the unfortunate experience with Dr Mike. He was arrogant, condescending, barely treated me but somehow I ended up in more pain than I came in with!!! I’d HIGHLY AVOID THIS DR!! He also trash talks his colleagues and tells patients what to write in a review for him…I’ve never been so disgusted or disappointed with a service before in my life.

I absolutely love Dr. Suize. She's caring, sweet and really listens to you. But today, 2/13 was a bad experience due to the receptionist. Normally, all have been exceptional. But, due to her unpleasant and unprofessional attitude, I left without being seen. She made me feel like I was so beneath her. If I ever return, I will walk out if I see her.

Your new chiropractor, Dr Shane is really great! Dr Marianne is the reason I go to this location, but this office is frequently understaffed for the amount of clients who come to see her. The lines are really long and I frequently have to miss my adjustment bc I can't wait 40 minutes to an hour. However, it's really wonderful to see that you finally brought in a good second chiropractor to support her. I hope you can assign Dr Shane to this very busy branch soon and full time.

This was my first time ever going to a chiropractor , so I searched a couple of places and found The Joint Chiropractic they had a $29 deal for new patients and that’s a good deal, I made a appointment online! Easy and simple. Went to my appointment, walked in and the place was very clean and looked good I was greeted by Hannah at the front desk she helped me with everything and was very very helpful and helped me filled out my paperwork if I needed it. I waited 5 mins to get seen, lovely Sarah was the one who helped me today and she was AWESOME! Amazing attitude and easy to talk and she took the time to listen to my problems that I was having with my body and went over everything and got started with the process and she was very gentle with me and after the appointment everyone was very nice and price for this place is good! I highly recommend this place!

Its been a year since I got long hauler covid. It affected my msk and sciatic nerve. After seeing my Dr. and being treated with muscle relaxers and PT which helped some. I decided to self advocate. We go to the Joint all the time, however Marana location seems to be a dud. Always long wait, Dr Sweiss is somewhat efficient, but I've seen Chiropractors that done so much better job. Dr Trish did not do anything for me and my boyfriend the other day - she was so gentle, she couldn't pop or stretch anything. We felt completely the same when we left.

I first went here because it was close to my home … never signed up for a membership and somehow had one that was charging my account 79 $ a month … I went in and told them I no longer want a membership and it never got cancelled so I called them on the next charge I had so I could tell them for the 2nd time to cancel the meme er ship and was told the membership couldn’t be cancelled over the phone … I went to my bank to stop the charges on my card and it didn’t prevent anything…they still charged my card 79$ a month for over a year now.they will not refund the money to my account. THEY BASICALLY STOLE OVER $1,000 from me. Will never go here again or recommend it to anyone … if you need a real truthful chiropractor I would go to DR.RAM on oracle and orange grove.

The front desk lady and the doctor are the nicest people I have ever met, and she is such a good doctor and caring everybody should come here cause she really can fix a lot of problems with discomfort in joints and muscles. I wouldn’t advise any of my friends to join chiropractor, your plan it’s so affordable.

Waited 30 min for the doctor to say at the last minute that she is “done for the day” at 6pm - no other explanation no warning- a room FULL of mostly new customers were told to leave - sure- fine but I’m never going back! Poor customer service. Also the receptionist had a 20 mine private conversation with a customer in front of everyone while we waited. Glad we didn’t waste our money on them.

My membership was cancelled last year while Joint Chiropractic continued to charge my credit card for over 9 months. Charges exceeding $800. I went to the office to speak with the manager directly to get this resolved and they would only provide the manager name and email. The staff informed me that was the only option to reach her. Going on a week and Laura the manager still has not responded. Even tried contacting the corporate office in Phoenix and no response from them. What a shady company, looks like we need to take it tolefel.

I can’t thank Dr. Mary Sweis enough. I came in with so much anxiety and pain. I have been dealing with bad sciatic pain in which I can’t sleep, sit, stand or walk. I really like Dr Mary and Dr Mike! They are the only Chiros that actually know how to adjust me. I drive all the way from the east side to get adjusted by them, it is very unfortunate that this location is closed on the weekends. Dr. Mike is at the Oracle location on Sunday, (which is the only location open on the weekends) and even further for me. Dr. Mary has a wait that is least 45 min on Mondays. This is very inconvenient for those of us who work M-F. ? Bring Dr. Mike back to Marana on Sundays!!!

I think they do a good job but they should tell people about the 2 month minimum before they charge you for it and make sure that is ok. They didn't tell me at all. I saw it circled in the pamphlet they gave me after I signed up.

Each and ever person providing a service here at Joint first is excellent. They are all very kind and welcoming, and get you in and out in a timely manner. All of the chiropractors do a great job and have a great sense of hospitality. I love coming here before work. Edit: came back several times. Now I'm down to just tightness and fast climbing to normality. These guys are awesome. Especially the front desk guy Mike .............. I saw Mike, Mary, Kyle and one other who's name I didn't catch. They cracked me real good. :D I came in after throwing my back out and a few visits later I'm in preem condition. The first was instant relief but they told me it'd take a bit before I'm 100%. It became a fast addiction.

Just had my first adjustment and experience at “The Joint”. I was not impressed by the service I received. The girls up front were very nice and courteous. Dr.Davis was polite he just didn’t adjust me correctly and in fact made my back feel worse. He tried to crack me numerous times and could hardly pop my back and I’m usually very easy to crack for other chiropractors. I will not be returning to this location and I would not recommend Dr.Davis to anyone that seeks real medical attention. Hope you guys get this issue corrected..

I love this location, and I will go out of my way to see Dr. Sweis. She is an amazing practitioner. She was incredibly attentive to my needs, made sure I was extra comfortable and left feeling better than when I arrived. The Chiropractor working here is very knowledgeable and helped me immediately with my issues for which I am thankful. However, the scam they run to get everyone that walks through the door signed up with a "membership" is just that, a SCAM. Being in pain, you just want to be seen as quickly as possible and in my case I wasn't prepared for a fast talking sales pitch which is exactly what you'll get. I signed up for the membership because I knew I would need several treatments to get things back in alignment. What I didn't realize was that in the fine print, you are signing up for a minimum of two months. GOTCHA! After 4 treatments I was feeling much better so I decided to cancel my membership but when I tried I was informed that I could not cancel until I had paid for two months. All I can say is Buyer Beware.

The 5 stars are for the doctors, not the Joint Brand. Have never had a bad experience here with any of the doctors. Dr Mike is the real deal. Firm adjuster, but precise. It's a shame he's not full time at this clinic. Mary and Dr Austin are both great too. Those three are some of the best in the game. Too bad they're restricting hours and days now. Great doctors, but perhaps poorly mismanaged. Almost never more than one doctor there, and often times a decent long wait. The staff make the wait worth it, though. Bring in more doctors, and give them their desired equipment.

I've gone here since this location opened and really only have great things to say. All three Dr's have worked on me and each have an individual work style and vibe overall that I appreciate while remaining consistent in quality of care. Anyday I go in, I know I'll be happy with their services. The front desk staff is always helpful and informational. Do keep in mind that The Joint is a company that offers package plans or subscription-like models of payment so there are options to choose from, and it is walk-in only so at times the wait can be none at all, or a while, just depends on business that day/hour. Regardless your body will thank you. Thankful this location opened nearby!

The experience I had with the first 2 doctors was awful! But then the staff at the Cortaro office suggested I try 1 last doctor and said she’s available after I get off work M-F. I was honestly dragged into the office by my husband not wanting to do it. However I am glad I did as I suffer from ruptured herniated disc’s which sends fire down my leg. Well since I been coming here I have felt better and am able to manage my pain doing my program and can move better. Needless to say I would recommend coming here for sure! The staff of course and doctor are very pleasant, kind and compassionate.

Love getting adjusted by Dr. Mary! She is so professional and does the best job! The receptionists have always been very pleasant except for one of them who I have noticed get pretty snarky with customers and the drs. She gives me off putting feelings but I love the work I get done with Mary so I tend to ignore her.

Read the fine print of any plan you sign up for. Was sold on a 1 time purchase plan but they continued a re-occurring 60$ monthly charge. Attempted to cancel this but was told no refund even though I didn’t want the service. They also will not cancel your plan over the phone and require you do so in person which is scam type behavior.

This is Mike, Janet's husband. I hurt my back when I missed the pole vault pit in high school (1968). I have used chiropractors ever since which I would guess amounts to around 20 different providers. I would put Dr Sweis in the top 3 of all the doctors I have had work on me over the last 54 years. She takes whatever time is necessary to get the job done. She is gentle but firm enough to get my old bones back where they need to be to keep me going. I try to get adjusted every 2 or 3 weeks depending on what I have been doing. The office staff are friendly and helpful and Dr. Sweis is great. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a chiropractor.

Just got back in town from a fast trip and again Mary fixed me right up thank you so much for all you do. Dr. Sweis is very caring and understanding she takes the time to listen to your issues. I would recommend if you have any kind of back pain to go see her at Cortaro and Arizona Pavilion at the new Joint office. She has helped me be able to walk with out pain and loves her Patients. Not only does she remember her patients the front desk ladies also are very warm and welcoming thank you The Joint for all you do for me . Joy White I go in to The Joint weekly to see Dr. Sweis. The first time I was going for my tailbone issues and now I am going to maintain the health of my spine. No matter what Dr Sweis has my issues in mind and I feel so much better after I see her every time. Showed up on a Saturday no appointment to see what could be done about some pain I was having in my neck /shoulder area the girls up front were very welcoming and friendly the Dr was ready to see me even before I was done with the registration no waiting. The Dr talked with me asked me a few questions and instructed me what to do adjusted my back neck and shoulders relieved my headache almost instantly. The Dr Mary helped me so much I think I've found myself 1 great chiropractor definitely going back regularly to keep myself pain free.
