The Joint Chiropractic - Marana

Dr. Mike McGurn joined The Joint Chiropractic family of local healthcare providers when he arrived at the Tucson clinic locations in December of 2019. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1980 and is well-suited to meet the needs of local Tucson, AZ patients.

Prior to attending chiropractic college, Dr. McGurn went to Palmer Junior College as a Pre-Med student. He has always had a passion for helping others. He also loves that chiropractic care serves as a non-invasive technique to pain relief without the use of drugs.

Over the course of his professional career, Dr. McGurn has learned to serve a range of patients, from grandparents to infants and athletes, all with a range of cases including arthritis, sciatica, low back pain, migraines and more.

When Dr. McGurn is not working at The Joint Chiropractic he enjoys staying active and reading.

Originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania Dr. Mary Sweis graduated from Penn-State University having earned the degrees of a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Health and Human Development. She then furthered her education by earning her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the New York Chiropractic Collage in Seneca Falls, NY. Dr. Sweis joined the pediatric club at NYCC to expand her knowledge in treatment of adolescent condition. She also took additional courses pertaining to women’s health and their care during pregnancy.

Dr. Sweis Graduated with her Doctorate of chiropractic in 2008 and had received a position to practice at an integrated facility in Chicago, IL for two years. Dr. Sweis developed an interest of working closely with doctors in the fields of orthopedic medicine, rehabilitation/physical therapy, and diagnostic studies. Afterwards, Dr. Mary Sweis and her husband had the great opportunity of owning and operating a family wellness clinic in Myrtle Beach, SC. For 8 years.

Dr. Sweis, her husband and their two children have recently moved to Tucson from Myrtle Beach to be closer to their family. She and her family enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking, and exploring the beautiful sites of Tucson.

Originally from Cincinnati, OH, Dr. Davis attended Aiken Senior High school and followed in his fathers footsteps doing home and commercial construction. Many years later health issues crept up on him, like they do for many. After suffering with neck, shoulder and back pain for years Dr. Davis finally found relief after following the advice of his chiropractor to get adjusted on a regular basis. After experiencing the amazing power of chiropractic care Dr. Davis decided to attend Chiropractic College himself.

Dr. Davis attended Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC and graduated in 1996. Since then he owned/operated a clinic until 2015 as well as working at a medical clinic until joining all the great chiropractors at the Joint.

He spends all of his free time with his girlfriend Rosemary and enjoys hiking, biking, camping and occasional road trips.

Dr. Kyle Doyle was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. He completed his bachelor’s degree at Indiana University, where he was a collegiate cyclist, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic at Life University in 2022 and soon after joined The Joint Family in June of 2022.

Dr. Kyle was introduced to chiropractic at a young age through several sports injuries. This inspired him to become a chiropractor and help others get out of pain and stay healthy. Dr. Kyle’s favorite thing about being a chiropractor is getting to know patients and seeing them improve!

Outside of the office, Dr. Kyle can be found in the gym, with friends, by the pool, or on a hike with his dog Silas. He is excited to explore Arizona!
