Introverted Qualities You Should Utilize For Even Better Health
I can't say I've ever truly appreciated being an introvert, but lately I've learned to be proud of it because I've learned that introverts tend to make others feel good about themselves. They really listen to others and tend to be more in tune with their own mental health as well as those they hold dear. If you're an introvert you should learn to appreciate these qualities and if you're not you should try to harness some of them for even better mental and physical health. Check these out:
1. Introverts Tend To Listen More Than They Talk
Introverts tend to listen to others with their hearts and give others all of their attention. This makes them keenly aware of other people's wants and needs. This allows them to cultivate good friendships and give to others freely. Since we live in a time where people try to put their best foot forward on platforms like reality shows and social media, someone who tries to get to know the real you and truly understand who you are is quite a commodity.
2. Introverts Value Self-Care
Self-care is highly needed for both proper mental and physical health. Introverts tend to be more in tune with the fact that people need to take care of themselves to function optimally. This is a gift in a time where society is moving so fast and it's difficult to find stillness.
3. Introverts Know How To Be Alone
Being comfortable by yourself is a wonderful skill to have in a world where it's difficult to be your own person and love who you are. The media is constantly telling us who we need to be and what is acceptable. But if we can be by ourselves and enjoy our alone time, then we get to know who we really are and learn to live by our own rules. Introverts actually NEED to be alone to reboot and have enough energy to be with others, so getting to know themselves is a must.
