Everybody likes a good game. There is just something about a healthy level of competition and a string of exciting plays that pull us in to watch our favorite players, week after week, month after month. And no matter what the sport, there always seems to be that one player who simply stands out above the rest.

So what is it about those standout players? We know that most athletes can be found training for hours every day and that they eat the right kinds of foods, so it can’t just be that which propels them to extraordinary success. And it is doubtful that the secret, little rituals many have before a game is what does it either (sorry to break the bad news, but rubbing that fake purple, gas station rabbit's foot does not make anyone a better player). So that brings us back to the question … what could it be?

Many athletes who want to perform at the highest level possible, who want to prevent injuries from occurring, and who want to keep their bodies in optimal shape, have one thing in common … they often see a chiropractor on a regular basis. Why? Because chiropractic:
