I had an introductory session with a chiropractic doctor yesterday. I knew I was feeling a little bit stiff and achy, but didn’t realize how long and how much I had been uncomfortable until after the session. I feel amazing! Dropped a star because of the scheduling. My first appointment got rescheduled and there was quite a wait when I finally went in. I think this is mostly a drop-in type arrangement which should have been made clear from the outset. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. After many years of coming to this clinic 4-6 times per month my back aches, neck and shoulder pain have not improved at all. Not to mention Dr. Martino is very rude. As far as Dr. Wolcott, I think he has poor technique and expertise. I found his adjustments to be painful. Plus, he left me with a pinched nerve which I'm receiving chiropractic care for elsewhere.

Worst place! I started on a recommendation from my sister in law, I had some medical issues come up and so I had to cancel by instruction of my medical physician. They had sent me the form in January and explained that I could not be refunded because it was already to late for that month but that I could fill out a form to either freeze or terminate my account. I did as requested and everything seemed fine, come to find out my bank account has been charge two extra charges of $79.00. When I called to explain and get a refund I was meet with “I’m sorry on our end everything looks like you didn’t send in the form.” Needless to say they refused to credit back, gave me no solutions or alternatives and oh let me remind everyone I have only been there once! Totally of $345 worth of services I never even received!

I've been seeing Dr. Wolcott at the Yuma office for almost 2 years. He's the best! He listens, is compassionate, takes great care to make sure I'm comfortable as he adjusts me and keeps me out of pain. I would highly recommend using him for your Chiropractic needs! The receptionist Katie is also great. A few days ago I called the office to see if Dr. Wolcott was in, letting the phone ring and no aanswer, I knew the office was busy. A few minutes later, Katie called me back and left a message that Dr. Wolcott would be in all day. In all my years, I've NEVER had the receptionist call me back (I didnt leave my name and number but they obviously have caller ID) To the management reading this, please take in consideration of how Katie went way over customer service to do such a great thing! I've been to numerous chiropractors around the country over the course of 30 years. I've had amazing visits, horrible visits, and everything in between. In all my years I can say unequivocally without hesitation that Dr. Martino is among the best ever. I wish I had discovered him sooner but I will never forget the great lengths he took to take care of me. He mentioned that chiropractic work is an art form and that's 100% true and that approach sets him apart for sure. I'm a difficult case because I have anxiety and some hypertension so I almost always tense up and can't relax for adjustments. That's a serious problem. Been like that my whole life but Dr. Martino has the skill to overcome that and still made some of the best and most impactful adjustments of my entire lifetime. I told him at one point that he had already exceeded my expectations for the visit but he wasn't satisfied and kept going!! Unfortunately I do not reside in the area but I will never forget that he literally raised the bar for what I consider a good chiropractor and will be certain to track him down whenever I'm in the area again and even try to get multiple adjustments.

VERY Aggressive adjustments, Wish I had never gone to them. I emailed them on Sunday, January 12th. No response….My email stated: During my second visit the chiropractor was having a hard time adjusting my lower back and used an aggressive amount of pressure to finally get an adjustment. At first it felt ok, but as I walked out to the car it felt like my left hip was thrust forward out of alignment. A different chiropractor completed the 3rd adjustment after I explained what happened on my second visit. It was really painful but seemed to help temporarily. I have extreme pain in my lower left side of my back and have been on a heating pad ever since. I will not return for further adjustments even though I signed your contract, I’m afraid to. I don’t want any further damage to be done. I feel it’s only fair I let you know what has happened.

I do not recommend this place. I was talked into signing up for their special that you have to commit to for 2 months, even though i told the receptionist that i was going to be leaving Yuma in 1 month. She said that i could just cancel so I won't get charged for the second month. Normally I get 1 treatments a month. I went to them 6 times in 1 month and not once did I get any relief from the treatment. I did tell them their treatment wasn't working for me. i asked to cancel so i would not get billed again but no go. If you purchase something and it doesn't work you can return it. I think this should fall under the same category. Very disappoint in this place. Becky

Must sign "schitt happens" clause. Paperwork states they are not responsible for ANYTHING if they hurt or injure you, which they admit does happen sometimes. They will not pay a cent or be sued if they "accidently" break your neck. If you don't sign your rights away they will refuse to see you. Any other place carries insurance but not these losers! Or....they refuse to use it. Oh... The treatment? Totally ignored me and where I hurt and needed. Gave me the most PAINFUL and brutal adjustment ever. My ribs hurt like heck and my neck now has tingling. And they don't give a schitt! These people are dangerous. The reviews prove that. Believe them! I didn't and now I struggle to get a full breath and even turn my head slightly. DANGEROUS PLACE TO GET ADJUSTED

Went on the recommendation of a friend. Was not impressed. I spent 10 minutes filling out the forms which the doctor didn’t even look at. I was trying to explain where my pain was and he wasn’t even listening. He did the normal couple of adjustments and said all done. He didn’t even address my ribs. All he wanted was to sell me the “plan” and once I said I’ll give it a couple of days to see how I feel then decide he was done with me. Then the lady up front tried again to see me the “plan” and I said no. Felt very rushed and like an assembly line going in and out. Found the doctor arrogant and no bedside manner.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! Dr. Martino was brutally aggressive and caused worse neck pain AFTER he practically snapped my neck off! Stopped by the Yuma clinic TWICE and e-mailed the head doctor I was told to contact with a letter from my physical therapist - two weeks later - not even the courtesy of a response. DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE OR YOU WILL BE AS SORRY AS I AM. It's been more than a month now and I still can't turn my head due to the neck pain Dr. Marino inflicted.

I needed to see one of the doctors and Dr Martino was on duty. Check-in was easy enough. A questionnaire was required, needing to know about past chiropractic issues, and current issues and some basic health issues. The doctor was ready for me once I had completed the questionnaire. He was quick and I did feel better when I left.

Had a sharp pain in my upper back. After two sessions much improved. Needed relief to be able to sleep. Dr. Greg suggested ice as well to reduce the inflammation . That helped too. Staff is very helpful.

I love coming here. My mother in law and 2 friends will drive from Imperial Valley just see Dr. Martino and Wolcott. We work around our entire schedule to make sure we go on the days that they are there. One day we didn't get them we got the other Dr and it was not a very good experience so now we call ahead to make sure one of them will be in the office

Another one that put right refused to fix the problem that he was asked to fix. Not to mention the he'll he gave me about my service dog. I've dealt with this problem send 2006 am well aware of what you do on this particular adjustment. He flat out refused. Got into taxi didn't even get off property and already felt it flaring up again thanks to me paying fir it to be fixed and the doctor refusing. Again. Thanks doc my only how is one day your in non stop pain that you can't escape and everybody gives you attitude about it and takes your money then does not fix. You need to walk in these shoes a few times I think

Staff and chiropractors are great to work with. Dr Martino has been adjusting me weekly for almost a year and he is very attentive to my posture when I walk in and goes right to the source. I also appreciate that the staff has taken the time to know me and gets me checked in as I was through the door. Highly Recommend.

I’ve been going to the joint to get my body adjusted, and Andrew Martino is very rude when I tried to explain to him what joints have been causing me pain he stared at me with a blank stare and made rude side comments trying to make me feel ignorant I do not recommend him he honestly needs to learn how to listen to people and have a normal conversation without being rude and looking like he’s annoyed a few others I know who have went said the same things

Spent less than 5 minutes with the Chiropractor, and while he was extremely friendly I don’t feel like I got anything more than a sample of what the “subscription” provides. EDIT: Less than 10 minutes after posting this review I received a call using my phone number provided during checkin regarding the review. While initially 1 star may have been a little harsh I feel like this use of my personal information in that manner was unprofessional. Also my real name is nowhere on this profile so that is a bit weird. Overall I did not enjoy this secondary experience.

Returning for my second visit last month, I found the chiropractic care to be excellent. While the majority of the staff were pleasant, one member seemed a bit unprofessional. Despite the chiropractor's offer of two free sessions upon signing up for a monthly plan, which includes four sessions for $79, this particular staff member hesitated, claiming I wasn't a new customer due to a visit five years prior. It took her a minute to rectify the situation and mark off the free sessions. My payment and departure, however, were swift, taking me just 30 seconds. Overall, the care is top-notch, but a smoother administrative process would enhance the experience

The appointment was more of completing paperwork than actually spending any time with the doctor. I was very disappointed because it seemed that the doctor was more concerned with selling me the plan rather than assessing and curing my pain. I left the office in the same pain that I was in when I arrived at the office. I was never asked where was I hurting, how intense was the pain, how long have I had the pain, etc. The $29 that I spent to see the doctor would have been better spent if I’d purchased $29 worth of pain meds!!!! Ughhhhh!

I have to say that the staff here is really amazing they have always been very professional and very helpful! Dr Martino Wolcott, is always up for the challenge of adjusting me and fixing all of my problems that cause me pain and suffering every day of my life! I have told Maria and Gisselle both that they are all so awesome ? and that I send them anyone who needs help eliminating any pain that they might have just going through daily life!! Overall I will say that every single time I have an adjustment performed by Dr Martino Wolcott I instantly feel like I could go out and run a marathon! My migraine headaches always instantly go away before he gets completely finished. Thank you ? all so very much for making my life better and for helping me feel like I am 20 years old again!!

Worst Chiropractic experience ever. Hurried and not thorough. Barely checked out my problem areas, minimal time spent actually feeling my spine or body to identify the cause of my pain. The adjustments that were done were perfunctory, I wasn’t even asked if the pain was improved. Spent more time and energy trying to sell me a “membership” than actually adjusting me. 2/3 pain sites did not improve. Super disappointed.

He "dances" around the body, looking for what's out of alignment, and he always finds things that no one else did and that I didn't have the words to describe. I like the convenience. It's basically $20 per adjustment. Your adjustment is usually less than 5 minutes. The effectiveness of your adjustment is purely based on which chiropractor you see when you go in. It's inconsistent. Some of them are stronger than the others. Some like to talk about what they're doing in great detail, some don't. I'd go 5 stars if they were more consistent but this place is set up for walk in appointments and it's a national chain so I get it. Maybe the notes on each patient could be more detailed so that each different chiropractor knows what the others are doing. I'm not 100% sure yet that it's as effective as a regular chiropractor but it is much cheaper!

I went in for an emergency. On a scale of 1-10 I was at an 8 in pain from my lower back that has arthritis and I also have moderate scoliosis. Dr Martin was very kind and was such a great listener. I walked out still in pain with little relief, but Dr Martin said it would take time so I made an appointment the next day for urgent care just in case. I ended up cancelling that appointment because that same night I was almost pain free and the next morning I could sit up and walk straight. They were a god sent and I love that they're open on weekends and late weekdays.

The whole staff is friendly and great. The chiropractor’s are all very nice and know what they are doing. They listen to you concerns and address them with the adjustments. They have different techniques depending on what they see going on with your body. Highly recommend this place. It has definitely improved my life and given me the mobility I had lost over the years.

Update: After posting this review the issue has finally been fixed. Only took them 3 months. I’ve tried canceling my account with them multiple times. And they continue to charge me. I’ve submitted the cancellation form 3 times now and yet I’m still getting charges to my account. When I call they say there is nothing they can do about it and I need to fill out the form… which I’ve repeatedly done. I reached out to their corporate and they told me only my local branch can help me with it. Even though they’re not.

Quick process to sign in as a new patient. The entire process from beginning to end was seamless and the receptionist was awesome. So sweet and helpful. Doctor did a great job. His technique was a bit different than I have experienced in the past but that is a good thing. He was able to accomplish movement where others have not been able to for years. I have been under chiropractor care for almost 50 years. Glad my sister and brother -in- law encouraged me to try out The Joint.... Chiropractor to be clear. ?

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The adjustment went well. The only thing I didn't like was how my lifelong condition of migraines was simply written off as a chiropractic issue and couldn't possibly be due to any other medical reason. The whole process seemed a bit rushed, but for the price I can't really complain.

Very friendly, clean, and professional. First time ever in 49 years seeing a chiropractor and as scared as I was I was put at ease by everyone there. I'm hoping this works for me, for nothing else has . I can't explain why I felt the need to go when seeing the ads online, but it called to me. So far I have not been disappointed. Update: I have had 3 adjustments so far seen by 2 different Dr.s. twice by the same one. Can say I am happy with the second adjustment I got. I felt listened to. Never felt rushed to answer. He took his time and right away saw how tight and in pain I was. My first and 3rd adjustments were however not like that. I never got to finish an answer, felt rushed and like the Dr. Wasn't listening. Now I thought because I was new, never had been to a chiropractor and it was close to closing that might have been the issue. However. Saw the same Dr. On third visit and it was more of the same. I didnt feel listened to, and never got the chance to complete a sentence. he spent literally 4 minutes on trying to adjust me and at the end asked me to stand so he could see, asked if I felt stable on my feet. Well yes I told him I always do. His response was rude and inconsiderate. "Well then what are we doing here?" Was his response to me. If he had heard me out and didnt ask questions as he was attempting to adjust me and listened he would know why I was there. I have pain due to disc's missing in my lower back causing sciatic pain, low back pain, and cervical issues in my neck. He heard none of that. I am missing out going today because he is the only one working and refuse to be seen by him after that. I also have chronic medication resistant migraines which caused me to hamper down in bed for the first 4 days took day 5 as recovery went in day 6. It was a horrible experience, and i now have morw pain than when I went in, also now Iy will miss my second day in a week of adjustments due this issue. Im hoping at this point I don't have to many issues trying to work around not being seen by this man. If that is the case then I will just not go back and lose out on what could be a great experience.

I had serious neck and sciatic pain when I went into the clinic yesterday. I have had 12 surgeries and have arthritis in many of my joints. After one session and 30 minutes in the jacuzzi, I feel 80% better than I have in months. I will be returning for more adjustments and signed up for a recurring payment of $79 for 4 adjustments per month, which is extremely affordable. I most definitely would recommended the clinic.

Does not take medical insurance. They will tell you that up front. Very nice experience. This is also my first time ever being at a chiropractor. The doctor was not able to pop all that needed to be popped due to stiffness. Just need to go more. The doctor is extremely nice, listens to ones concerns and answers any questions one may have. Be prepared to be sore for the next couple of days. After the service the doctor will recommend how often the patient should go in, in order to feel a real difference within the month. The only issue I have is when one is getting serviced on there are people watching. There's no privacy. I'm a type of person that gets embarrassed or feeling awkward when people stare at me. I definitely would like a curtain of some sort. Normally for this I would dock a star, but the experience was extremely comfortable.

Front desk girl was very nice or the review would be 1 star. As for the care....I will NOT go back. Doctor did NOT listen to me, hurried, and was more interested in me buying a package to keep coming back. My normal chiropractor in Texas, 5* rated with 1000's of reviews, literally, like other good chiropractors I've been to tell me your body talks and if you need care come see me. This was not the case here. I've been a chiropractor's for 35 years and this was one of the worst experiences. 30 minutes after I left I had a pain between my spine and shoulder blade I did not go in with. Now I'm using a heating pad have electric stem which was not provided at the office. Just another Jack in the Box business. Go to the real doctor and don't waste your money here on this chain operation.

My experience here at the Joint Chiropractic has been very good. The 3 docs I’ve seen in this past 5 months have worked hard to provide me with good quality healthcare. I’m an older guy with histories of athletic injuries and chronic arthritis. They’ve all provided care that lessened my pain and increased my level of comfort, from lying in bed and sleeping at night, to moving around in my daily life. I’ll continue to see them as long as I’m here in Yuma.

Went to a chiropractor on and off for 20 years. A couple of years ago he retired. I've been hesitent to find a new one. This lead me to the issue of having to find a new one when I started having issues between my c1 and c7 in my neck. I walked in on Saturday 9/17/22 and was greated by friendly staff at the front desk. I explained my situation, stated I was nervous and looking for a new solution and they thought I came to the right place. I filled out all the paper work, which took some time. It included personal medical history which will come into play later. Now this was not a busy time for this clinic. There was one person who walked in and was adjusted and walked out while I was filling out the paper work and that was it. I walked on back shortly after turning in my paper work. The Dr. did some light tests to check something, including grasping the shoulders right near the neck and pulling on it, which I was not pleased with and put me on edge. Within 3 minutes he said we were ready to go. I took a second, slowed down and explained some hesitation on my part, a little about my history and his response was "Ok, so are we going to do this or not?" His lack of empathy and understanding is what is wrong with the franchise model of a service like chiropractic care. I was nervous and instead of find a way to reassure me he was dismissive and came across like I was a simple comodity. There was no one else in the whole building so it's not like he was rushed to react as such. I responded, "Well I think you just made the choice for me." I grabbed my stuff and walked out. He maybe technically sound, his patient manner is mediocre at best. After reading a couple of the reviews on here that maybe the case. If you're in good shape and just need some light maintenance this maybe an ok shop for you. If you're looking for some real help and a doctor to maybe understand please go elsewhere, I do not believe you'll find it here. I'm giving 3 stars because I did not experience the actual service, I didn't get that far. The Doctor didn't give me confidence in trying after the front desk did a great job of welcoming me. And since I see they reply to negative reviews I'm going to say please don't. I do not want to give this place another shot, I'm not interested in hearing any excuses. Just do better.

So I see online that some new prospective clients are not that happy but as an existing client who went through the same 'new client consultation' as they did my experience was AMAZING! The doctors are thorough, extremely knowledgeable and truly care about your health. Along with that, the front desk team is always so welcoming! They remember you and will follow-up on a conversation you may have had in passing from the last time you visited. Think of all the businesses you frequent regularly...No one takes the time to talk to you, let alone remember something going on in your life like these girls do at The Joint. I highly recommend this place! For those who didn't have a good experience, it would be worth a second chance. You will be so happy and much, much healthier as I can 100% attest to!

I have been coming to this Joint Chiropractic now for a few months and have to say that the quality of chiropractors here are great, especially Dr. Martino. I've been to quite a few Joint Chiropractic practices around the US and he is one of the best I've had so far. Usually I go in for my normal adjustments but he makes sure that he adjusts any other areas that are bothersome. He really does take his time with each patient and you can tell the quality of work he does. I would recommend this Joint for everyone and Dr. Martino for his exceptional work.

I’ve never in my life been refused care because I wouldn’t buy a subscription plan. I offered to pay for a full month of visits for one session today and they still refused to adjust me claiming it necessary that I had to keep coming back. I’ve had chiropractic care for 15-20 years and I know a simple hip adjustment would have fixed my problem. Their philosophy differs from mine. They had no patients there when I showed up and they left me in pain with my money on the table. Interesting business plan.

I have visited numerous Joints across the country. I have sung their praises to anyone else looking for a good chiropractor. Unfortunately, that came to a close today when the Yuma clinic let me down. I am in their system, yet they insisted I fill out all new paperwork. And the girls up front were worried about their upcoming lunch break. We got past all that. Then the “dr” came out to talk. Seems my 65 years of experience with my own body wasn’t good enough. He basically refused to treat me without a “maintenance “ plan. I explained I wasn’t a resident here in Yuma, just a visitor for a couple more months. Sadly, that wasn’t good enough. Yes, I left after calling him an a hole! Yes, I was as well. But I had come to the “expert” for help with a specific issue. He and the girls thought that was really funny. I’d avoid this clinic.

I don't recommend going to this clinic. The chiropractors there go for the hard sell regarding their subscription plans. I indicated that I'm a pay as you go customer, understanding that I could potentially spend less throughout my treatment plan if I bought one of their subscriptions and as soon as they heard that they rushed me through the exam and adjustment with little explanation and a lot of attitude.

I love this place I do the monthly membership which is perfect for me. All three chiropractors that work there are great at doing adjustments in there own way! They listen and help get all the spots you are concerned about adjusted! It’s always super fast usually in and out in less then 10 minutes and it’s a great location so when I’m out doing errands it’s not out of the way at all!

The treatment I received at this location was horrible. I was in more pain after the adjustment than before the adjustment. I told the Doctor and he said there was nothing he could do about it. I will never go to this location again.

After an assessment I felt relief after the very first alignment. I took advantage of the affordable membership package and I am reaping the benefits of chiropractic care. The doctors are personable, professional and experienced. The office is open seven days a week, take walk-ins, and the wait is limited, generally in and out in 15 minutes. I can’t say that I am pain free but I can say that I can say I feel better than I have in quite some time.

I had an accounting San Diego and had the monthly membership. I was so happy with the walk in visits. I work construction so it's hard on my body, I visit here when ever I'm near not just when I'm in pain. The longest I have had to wait for an adjustment is 30min the shortest is checking and go to the back and get adjusted. I have been using chiropractic care for over 30 years and will highly recommend the Joint. I'm even happier that they opened in Yuma, AZ. I'm now using this location and couldn't be more thrilled.
