This place is an absolute lifesaver. Finding a walk-in chiropractor for a first-time patient, is incredibly rare. The front desk gentleman manages the busy crowd with such grace and patience, maintaining his calm through repeated questions. The doctor's care was exceptional, leaving me feeling nearly back to normal after walking in with a severe headache and painful neck. Although they don't accept insurance, they take HSA/FSA and Care Credit but the prices are unheard of, making it easy to switch from my previous chiropractor of fifteen years. I visited the Aliso Viejo location while traveling and hope the offices in Washington are just as good.

Service was speedy and staff were very friendly and welcoming. This was my first time ever at a chiropractor, the therapist was very knowledgeable and took the time to make sure I was comfortable. The therapist asked many times throughout the consultation to make sure I didn’t have any questions or concerns. As a first timer I really appreciated it. I went in because I have been having neck problems and upper back problems for the past few months because of work. Immediately after the session, I felt a lot of relief in the stiffness I had been feeling. The next day I was basically good as new. I know that chiropractic sessions are something that can help with issues over time, with consistent sessions often times being far more effective. I personally did not want a membership, but they do have many options depending on what works best for you. In comparison to other membership based businesses that I’ve tried they do a much better job at providing you with the information you need and taking the time to explain what options are available.

My usual closed on Sundays but I had severe neck pain when I woke- The Joint got me a quick consultation with adjustment that relieved so much pain and got me to about 90% back towards full range of motion immediately (which on such an injury I’m usually happy with 60-75% range back). The doctors skill was impressive, especially with my unusually tight neck and shoulder area due to my work load. Don’t sign up for the membership. I had cancelled my membership in person after my appointment in March. The guy in the front told me it was cancelled. Recently I got a new card and got a notification that my monthly charge didn’t go through. I called and informed them that that I had cancelled it in person months ago. Apparently there was a cancellation form that needed to be signed that was not provided by the front desk person. 2 stars because they refunded two months, but management didn’t want to refund the remaining $356. I’d understand if I had gotten a cancellation form via email and I didn’t respond but that is not the case here. Seems unfair to me tbh. Hope this helps the next person.

The doctors here are great, unfortunately the reception staff is not. They have a newer receptionist that has anger issues she needs to deal with. Her short fuse is triggered when she messes up her work. She managed to fumble a simple check in and blame me and start a little rant about it rather than apologize and correct her mistake. Her anger was clearly sexist. As a result, I will not be going back and I am escalating the issue.

I have been going to this location for a while now. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to any needs and concerns I may have and is always helpful with showing me at home stretches for target areas that need focus. Today I went at the Aliso Viejo as soon as it opened and I saw Dr. McDonald. I’ve seen him before and at that first visit he was the only doctor so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. And he didn’t give me the quality of care normally done at this location. Usually the rest of the team is thorough but he was not. He just went up along the center of my back, did my neck and checked my shoulders but as if he just shimmied his has instead of doin a deep dive. Left feeling the same as I came in and learned my lesson for choosing him. Otherwise the team is awesome and I get the best care and always feel better but the two times I’ve seen him it hasn’t been the best. Hopefully everyone gets the best care and hope you have a great day

Today on December 1, 2024, had the honor to meet Dr. Hahn. He is truly a blessing. I had been suffering from back pain for the past three weeks. That was immobilizing me to even stand up straight, he educated me what my issues could be and exactly what was needed to be corrected I had received an MRI the day before without me even telling him what had came out on the MRI he knew exactly where the problem was. I said not being able to walk for the past three weeks had other joint pain through the fact not being able to walk such as my hip, my knees, my foot my angle of my back bent over just to walk corrected the right things and me being from Texas I tried to stick this thing out. Today was truly a blessing from God. I will be returning tomorrow in hopes that he is there. If not, I will find him anywhere in California. Highly truly recommend his service. He truly god sent to me he is an angel

Be cautious of a deceitful business practice. We signed up for a package deal and used it for a few months. After the last session in our plan, I stopped going there. To my surprise- After the last session in my plan- they continued to charge our card for eight more months. When I called to explain the misunderstanding ( and I take responsibility for not reading my statement line by line), I was told that it auto-renews and they would not refund me. I pointed out that as a responsible business, they should have noticed my absence over the last eight months and at least give me a quick call to see why I was absent for eight months. Their response was shocking, saying they have many members and that they do not care who comes in as long as they can charge the credit card. This unethical business practice is disappointing because I had no issues with the service. Unfortunately, they prioritize chasing pennies over earning a bad reputation. This might be a small gain on their part, but someone reading this post -will make the right choice- to take their business elsewhere. UPDATE on 10/03/2024 As they mentioned in their response, I wanted to talk to someone and tried to call their Corporate office. Let me warn you, Do not bother calling, as nobody answers!!! I wanted to call the office ( local ) to see what they mean by further discussion in their response. Oh boy, The receptionist was disruptive and unprofessional she would not even let me speak. It was so pitiful! I had to calm her down multiple times to ask if her manager could call me today in between her VERY busy schedule. I had the feeling that they try to overwhelm you, so you would give up. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told that she was in San Diego in meetings. I asked her direct line, the answer was "They can not share the number". I asked her to call me back; let's see what happens. I am baffled about how dismissive this business is! I am unsure if they know California's automatic renewal law. As a business person myself I have my mobile number on my business card. I guess you need to be confident about what you do to share your number. So, I am waiting for someone to call me. Update 10/09/2024: Still waiting for a callback! Being dismissive would be the worst thing any business can do. The next step is to file a complaint with BBB.

Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of doctors staffed to help with the wait. The staff is nice but it seems like they can't do much about it. I was definitely skeptical to try out a the Joint but after paying $$$ on individual “specializing” chiropractic offices and not getting my moneys worth or seeing any progress, I decided to try out the joint and my GOD! The adjustment and Dr was great…I was a bit annoyed with the delayed process of getting me back. I checked in and was told I was next (I had been there several times before so they had my information on file and had a current plan in place) and two additional patients walked in after me: 5 min later the receptionist told me I needed to complete paperwork. So that took about 5-10 minutes and one of the patients that walked in after me was put in front of me. Then (even though I had given all my paperwork back) he had the next patient go in front of me. So I ended up sitting around much longer than I had time for in order to be seen. I asked why the 2nd patient got to go before me even though I had been there 10 minutes before him….and was given a non-answer. I felt like my time wasn’t valued.

I've been to many different chiropractors at different locations at The Joint. It's a personal preference which one you would prefer. Some have more power when giving an adjustment than others, but generally they are all personable and can get the job done. I do like to be asked at the end if everything feels ok rather than " you're all done" because sometimes something can still feel a little off and need a readjustment. But I don't find that is usually a question that is asked. Otherwise for basic adjustments, this is a great format for a chiropractic. No appt needed and it's quick.

I had my first visit here today, and was nervous but Dr. Clark put me at ease. He was funny, kind and great with my kids who were learning about the process while I was undergoing it. I’ve been coming here for a few weeks now and that means it’s time to for a honest review. I’ve been to many Joint locations and this one definitely stands out. I am a busy mama with two toddlers in tow each time I visit. A 4 and 2 year old are not yet used to the quiet environment of a chiropractors office but everyone is understanding and kind. My kids feel safe and welcomed each time we visit which is so important in order for me to be able to relax enough to get an adjustment. The office is clean, the Chiropractors are so kind, and we are always greeted kindly and as we leave a simple “have a good day” goes such a long way! I love the fact that I can walk in and get an adjustment. I've seen a few different DCs and never had an issue. Prices are quite reasonable as well. Low score is based on long wait time, very busy waiting room with patients waiting outside, and it’s in between Starbucks and UPS = no parking.

I’d give them 0 if I could. Came in with my teenager. Told Mrs. Personality at the front when I walked. He was new. Gave me papers. Watched people go in before myself let alone my son. I asked for first available chiropractor. Finally I go back, I ask about my son well, I’m told he’s new we don’t see new patients on Sunday, ummm say what? Where was this information 20 minutes ago? Long story short I asked about him yes, we will get him in 45 minutes later still waiting. I ask if we should just leave basically Mrs. Personality tells me yes, we should if we can’t any more. Mind you dr Molly went to the back room and wasn’t seen for over minutes (no not the bathroom) so when Mrs. personality didn’t care and no wanted to help us We did just that. Advice go to El Toro we went there and were in and out there n 10 minutes

I was under the impression upon my first visit that covid measures were being properly followed so I signed up for the minimum 2 month membership. Upon arriving my next 3 visits I was greeted by a middle-aged (possibly hispanic-she was speaking Spanish to another client) woman without a mask anywhere in sight as she is laughing and talking. As someone with family at home who are high risk it is extremely disappointing to see. I would not have signed up, let alone walked in if I had this knowledge beforehand.

Love the Aliso Viejo team and have for years... my only criticism of it would be the walk in policy. Sometimes it takes me 4 trips to get adjusted because I am tight on time. It would be nice if there was always 2 - 3 doctors on staff or no closed for lunch hour to help with the lines.... otherwise they are really great

All the doctors are great, especially Dr G. On their monthly plan, the price is incredible on a per visit basis. You can walk in any time and rarely have to wait more than 1/2 an hour to be seen.

Dr. Michael Grigoriou is a very competent Chiropractor. I have been going to see him at The Joint in Aliso Viejo for about six years. I have had both hips replaced and cervical spinal surgery. Dr. Grigoriou is aware of my surgeries and is able to provide relief to my muscles by manipulation and traction. I always feel better after seeing him.

I've been a patient for 4 years. I go at least once a week. Dr. Gregorio is an outstanding practitioner as is Dr. O. He's thorough and has no problem explaining an adjustment etc. While not a full practice, i.e. x-rays or other tests, massage or supplements, it's not meant to be. This is a walk in clinic meant for maintenance and ease of access as well as cost effectiveness. That's not to say you won't get a great adjustment or good results. Just know what you're getting. I have no problem recommending the Aliso Viejo location or either Dr. I won't proclaim to know all of the benefits, but as a complimentary piece to the health and well being practice,I know I feel better after an adjustment.

I think this is the type of chiropractic office that works the best for me. Everything is streamlined; you just walk in, get adjusted and go. No unnecessary admin overhead that both patient and drs hate. The one area that they can improve (and speed things up) is digitization - start accepting Apply Pay and have an app where everything can be tracked!

I've been going to the Aliso locaiton for over 10 years and have seen Dr G, Dr Clark, Dr Molly and a few others...they ALL care, all are skilled at adjustments and are great chiropractors...The Joint business model is why I came here initially but the doctors in my home clinic are the reason I've stayed. You''ll ocasionally wait a little if you arrive during busy times but you will be seen...including Sat and Sun....VERY CONVENIENT. Thanks for all you do!

I usually see “Dr. O,” but I’ve seen Dr. G as well and they are both great!! I had some neck pain and lower back pain and seeing him regularly keeps things loose and fluid. Can’t get a better deal with their monthly fees which include 4 adjustments per month!

This location is great. Dr. Grigoriou is consistently thorough and effective with his adjustments. My wife and I both visit weekly and have for quite some time - he’s tremendously personable, knows us by name, and adjusts us uniquely according to our habits and typical issues. If you’re in the area and need a bit of a reprieve from back, neck, hip, shoulder, etc. pain, take the opportunity to swing by Sunday through Thursday - you won’t regret it.

I have been coming to this location for a few months and I am extremely satisfied with my results and the service. You are greeted in a friendly manner from the moment you walk through the door. I know a lot of people are skeptics when it comes to chiropractic health - I used to be one of these people. I went to the joint because I was experiencing some pain and discomfort in my left hip. Turns out I had a sacrum tilt. After a month of weekly sessions the pain was almost entirely gone. I continue to go for weekly sessions because I now realize that how my body used to feel wasn't actually how it should feel. I had just assumed it was normal because I had never been adjusted. I'm sure people are also worried about not seeing the same doctor each time. I can honestly say that I have had 4 different doctors here and have enjoyed all of them. Also just a tip - the same doctors seem to be there the same days and times so I'm sure you can ask for a doctor's schedule if there is someone you really like. Overall, this location is great! You owe it to yourself and your health to at least give it a try.

Tbh I'm extremely disappointed in myself for purchasing a membership for the joint when I was in Oceanside before I tried the location nearest my home in Laguna Beach .. Dr. Dana which is in Oceanside was phenomenal . Granted this business only does adjustments which is great when you receive a proper adjustment. But really what sets this location in Laguna Niguel apart is the horrible adjustment I received and unprofessional response from the male Dr when I returned a few minutes later to see if Dr Kara could do the adjustment correctly . Which was my greatest mistake . I honestly left this location in more pain than when I went in . I was better off staying at home in the minimal pain I had than the terrible pain I am in now . I had hope in this chain but after my experience today I can't say that I will return or recommend this place . I went in looking to sign up my mother . But after this I will not be recommending anyone . Much less my mother . I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

LOVE Dr. Grigoriou and Dr. Higley! I walk in without an appointment and leave feeling fantastic. Where else can you experience that kind of service for incredibly affordable pricing? I used to walk in for only $29 (less than my insurance copay!) but decided to sign up for their Wellness Plan for $49/month for 4 visits, dropping my cost to only $12.25/visit!
