Meet The Doctors
Dr. Michael Grigoriou completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Rhode Island. He received his doctorate from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles where his areas of concentration included several soft tissue therapy techniques, pediatrics, postural rehabilitation, and spinal rehabilitation. His professional memberships are with the American Chiropractic Association and the California Chiropractic Association. He is fluent in Greek and has working knowledge of Spanish. Dr. Grigoriou is a board certified chiropractor and is licensed in New York, New Jersey, and California. He is also certified in MUA (Manipulation Under Anesthesia), Spinal decompression therapy, Extra-corporeal Shockwave Therapy, and Kinesio Taping.
Dr. Grigoriou has been actively practicing in multidisciplinary settings alongside orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, pain management specialists, and physical therapists since 2002. In addition to his advanced training, skill, and experience, Dr. Grigoriou continues to hone his skills and improve his knowledge by frequently attending continuing education events both nationally and abroad.
As a Chiropractor with experience, he has been freeing people from pain and enhancing the quality of his patients lives by combining the very best hands-on-techniques, rehabilitation methods, and a highly individualized approach when caring for his patients. Dr. Grigoriou's passion is to help each of his patients not only to be pain free, but also to live life to its fullest.
Dr. Nessa Parkinen received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in Physiology and continued her education at Los Angeles Chiropractic College to receive her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2014. Dr. Parkinen has experience caring for patients from birth to middle age and beyond. She specializes in perinatal chiropractic care and is Webster Technique certified. Dr. Parkinen is passionate about being a health advocate for her community and empowering her patients. She is excited to share her knowledge and promote optimum health through chiropractic care to create the ideal condition for the body and mind to thrive!
Having suffered from a lower back injury playing pop warner football at the age of 10, Dr. Sean experienced the healing touch of a chiropractor early on. Helping him immediately and basically taking the extreme pain away, The path was set for him and in 2004 he graduated LACC.
Upon receiving his education and accreditation through Southern California University of Health Sciences, Dr. Sean furthered his skill and knowledge of the healing arts and chiropractic by studying under top doctors in his specialty early on, as well as building relationships with doctors practicing orthopedics and sports medicine to develop his specialized technique within integrative care. Having owned and operated Multiple businesses in different aspects of health, Wellness and Fitness overall the last 18 years, Dr Sean is finally taking a break from the business world of entrepreneurship. Wanting to go back to his roots and just be able to focus on patient care, Dr Sean joins The Joint excited to not only share what he’s learned, but to be part of a great community that cares for their patient base and each other.
Dr. Sean Clark is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) and Certified Personal Trainer with over 27 years of experience as a wellness and fitness practitioner in Newport Beach, California.
Dr Greg McDonald has over 35 years of practice experience. He is a graduate of Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He had his private practice until retiring in 2018. He then traveled full-time for 2 years. After missing the patient interaction and helping his patients regain their health he decided to return to practice. The Joint provided the opportunity for him to do what he loves, adjusting and helping his patients regain and maintain their health. Dr. McDonald is married with 4 grown children. He enjoys hiking, exercise, golf and learning about all aspects of nutrition. He takes great pride in taking care of his patients, educating them and listening to their needs. He continues to learn by attending regular seminars on all aspects of natural health.
Dr. Molly McFarland completed her undergraduate degree at Boise State University in Idaho where she studied Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA. Growing up as a competitive gymnast Dr. Molly sought out chiropractic care after a fall from the bars when she was 15 years-old. She was so impressed with the level of care, hands-on approach, and quick relief from pain that she experienced! This positive experience and continued chiropractic care thereafter allowed her to continue her love for gymnastics. She credits chiropractic care for allowing her to go on to compete for her college gymnastics team. Born and raised in Orange County, Dr. Molly is passionate about helping her community not only live a more pain-free life but one that allows them to fully participate in any activity that brings them joy.
