I went in to this location because I was in a lot of pain and I liked that I could go anywhere on my membership but when i went in the lady at the front desk was on the phone and ignored me and was unnecessarily rude to me about not having a key tag. The chiropractor pulled me back and saw that I go to another office regularly and said "why are you here? Its not busy where you normally go." I didn't really know what to say. His adjustment was very rough and quick. I was in a lot of pain when I left more so than when I first came and when I expressed this to the Chiropractor, he told me that was all he could do and to ice it and go to my clinic at home. I don't know if it was an off day but it wasn't busy when I was there so why was I being told to go to somewhere else that is less busy? I always have a great experience at the location near my home so it was odd to have such a negative one at another location.

I had a really difficult lower back issue, as well as a shoulder issue. And both have been helped greatly by The Joint Chiropractic of Goleta. They system of coming in often so that the problem can be worked out over time is critical. Normally that would be economically unfeasible, and so a person couldn't heal, or at least not quickly. I have suffered two separate falls in 1977 and have had chronic pain and multiple spinal and joint surgeries or complete replacements over the last 44 years. I still suffer pain daily but can tolerate it on a daily basis but without my weekly chiropractic visit I can not function on any type of regular, daily, or consistent schedule. All chiropractors are not the same but Dr. Brownley is one of the best I have experienced over my 44 years of chiropractic care. I have also used chiropractic care for my whole family, especially while my 5 children were growing; for overall health care and the wellness benefits it provides.

Unethical.... I was under the assumption I canceled my account, come to find out it was on a 3 month freeze and then re-instated without my knowledge. I was charged 8+ months $89/mo without having and services done in this time frame. When I finally figured out my CC had been getting charged monthly I contacted The Joint right away, only to be dismissed, made to feel this was solely my fault and there was no attempt to resolve or meet in the middle. I find it completely unethical to feel good about charging someone over and over for services they did Not receive.

I came for consistently petrified muscles and the bliss of an adjustment as well as a "pie-in-the-sky" dream that my migraines would improve. They have! I've discerned results in reduction of my migraines, muscle tightness, and balancing or realigning my body. I've been to other chiropractors who use machines, etc. This is better, more convenient, more cost effective and only has two doctors, each with their own style but a seamless overlap of treatment. I wish I'd discovered this years ago. Dr. Brownley and Dr. Levy are pleasant and the office staff is a delight!
