Let's Talk Chiropractic!

How are your neck, back, and joints treating you these days? Any aches and pains you wish would go away?

If you answer yes to the above question, don't worry you are not alone! The statistics tell us over 80 percent of Americans will have to deal with back pain at some point in their life. Isn't that crazy? That is almost everyone! If you are suffering through neck/back/joint pain, and find yourself relying on painkillers then it is time to take a look at alternative options. Namely, that wonderful world of chiropractic care and its hands on approach to back pain relief. If you aren't familiar with chiropractic care, today is the day to introduce yourself!

Chiropractors describe their profession as “a non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the neuromusculoskeletal system.”

So, let's break that down in words that are easier to read; chiropractors will "diagnose, treat and offer preventative care for problems related to the spine, muscles, joints, and nervous system." For example, if you twisted your back, it was out of alignment, and causing you large amounts of pain, a chiropractor would be a less invasive approach to healing. Painkillers are harsh on your body and have been shown in studies to cause a lot of unhealthy side effects. A chiropractor is never going to offer you a painkiller; instead, they will treat your pain with a series of chiropractic adjustments.

If you aren't familiar with the term "adjustment" let's define it as "a skilled and precise movement applied by hand to one of your joints, which helps loosen the joint to restore proper movement."

Sometimes when your chiropractor is preforming an adjustment you will hear a popping sound. This isn't bad (trust us) it is simply a gas bubble being released, and often feels really good. Chiropractors are intensely trained in their profession, and have a keen eye when looking at your alignment. Some people go to the chiropractor simply for body maintenance and use the sessions to keep their body moving freely and efficiently.

What are you waiting for? Find a chiropractor near by and align your life and spinal cord for mobility and optimal health and wellness.

Chiropractors are here to help you move freely from pain. You may even find after your first few sessions that you have more mobility than you've ever had. This is what chiropractors can help to do!

Always consult your chiropractor or primary care physician for all your health related advice.
