“The thing I like best about being in the chiropractic field is helping people and seeing patients feel better,” he says.

Dr. Bush was raised in Illinois before migrating south with wife Marci, who he married at 18. Through the years, he has worked in a number of cities throughout the Carolinas, including Asheville, Fayetteville, Spartanburg, Fort Mill, Mint Hill, Columbia and Myrtle Beach.

“I knew chiropractic was my calling when it helped my daughter get over her asthma,” he says.

The best thing about working at the Towne Centre location, Dr. Bush says, “is seeing a patient and getting to know them.”

Dr. Bush says the one thing he always keeps in his kitchen is chocolate -- and really, who can blame him?

If he could bring together anyone from history for a dream dinner party, Dr. Bush would like to sit with founder of chiropractic, Daniel David Palmer, and his son who developed chiropractic, BJ Palmer -- along with their wives.

There’s a good chance Dr. Bush’s wife Diana would be included in that dinner with the Palmers; they have been married for more than 50 years, a feat that Dr. Bush calls the coolest experience of his life.
