Dr. Melody Rodriguez was born and raised in North East Los Angeles, California. She received her Bachelors of Science degree at CSULA with a double major in Exercise Science and Biology. Soon after her undergraduate career she then enrolled at Southern California University of Health Sciences receiving her degree as a Doctor in Chiropractic emphasizing in Sports Medicine.
Throughout the years, she has had the opportunity to work in several medical settings, including medical-surgical, critical care, clinical care and emergency services as an Emergency Medical Technician. She believes these experiences enabled her to develop strong skills that prepared her well for the challenges throughout her chiropractic career such as understanding the range of various medical professional responsibilities.

1 5 1Visited several times, thinking I had only signed up for a month. The initial visit seemed OK, with DR. G., but each one following left me feeling worse than when I arrived. Lackluster, rushed adjustments. Also, they've been charging me each month, regardless of the fact that I only visited three or so times in my first month, which I thought was my only month. Such a waste of money for absolutely no reason.

2 5 1The treatment from Dr. Jack was great. It's unfortunate however that the The Joint, isn't transparent about their pricing scheme. I was told over the phone that I had an appointment, however the reality is that all patients are walk in patients. The woman at the front desk doesn't listen, she's so tied to her sales script that I had to ask the same question multiple times, multiple different ways to get an answer. This happened on the phone as well. They lead you to believe that the first visit is included in the $79 package rate and it is not. So when you get your first bill it's around $109 if you sign up for their recurring package. What they also DON'T TELL YOU VERBALLY, is that there is a two month minimum commitment for their subscription. You have to read it in their contract. Nor do they offer you any other options verbally. Their whole goal is to get you into the subscription membership and make it difficult to cancel. The scripted woman at the front desk only gave me other pricing options only when I pressed her for them multiple times. Also note, READ CAREFULLY THE CANCELLATION POLICY. You literally have to go in there in person to cancel. That's incredibly inconvenient. Also the place felt dingy and dirty. The chairs are ripped. The table the doctor adjusts you on wasn't working 100% and it felt stark, barren, cold and unwelcoming. The environment could definately use some attention to create an inviting ambiance. At the moment I have zero desire to go back and would not recommend it to anyone.
