They have a new Doctor, Dr. Nick. He was very attentive. personable and professional. He provided with a course of treatment plan and explained the chiropractic process. Dr. Hang at the Joint - Monterey Park location knows how to find the source of the issues and able to apply his chiropractic knowledges to help improve/better/heal the conditions. Just like any physical therapy, following the doctor's instructions and regular visits are important. After each patient visit, Dr. Hang makes sure that the adjustment table is cleaned following the COVID-19 protocol. In and out is never an issue at this location. Dr. Kemper is horrible. I came here more than 2 years ago after hurting my back and needing an adjustment. 2+ years later I came in for an adjustment and Dr. Kemper would not budge on the fact that I needed an xray because no one should have the same problem for 2 + years. After explaining over, and over again that I was not in pain for 2 years or I would have been seeking treatment the entire time, I walked out unable to change this doctor's preconceived notion of how long I've been injured. No matter what I told the man he insisted I was injured for 2+ years (despite having no pain or symptoms during this time).
I really don't get what the point of any of this interaction was. 24+ months between adjustments seems rather reasonable. They literally try to sell you a membership which has you go 4+ times a month, but my adjustments coming 2 + years apart seems excessive? I took my business elsewhere, was adjusted same day, and had immediate relief from a simple procedure that this doctor apparently couldn't figure out how to do without an xray.
Complete waste of time. Go somewhere else with a doctor that knows what they're doing.

In 2017, I was suffering from sciatica. The only relief I could find was from pain medicine that would knock me out until my Mom urged me to find a chiropractor. I pulled my back severely doing dead lifts specifically to my lower back and I could barely walk because of the throbbing pain. The Joint is a great place for weekly adjustments! Dr. Ramirez is great. Ever since the adjustments, I have not needed as many massages. My brother comes in for adjustments as well. Staff is very friendly and will recommend.

I never knew how much of a difference getting my back and neck adjusted really made! I came in for low back pain and they've definitely helped relieve it! I'd say that I'm a pretty active person, so my body takes a beating. Coming here has definitely helped me keep my body in check! I've had back issues for a very long time and I have been to many different chiropractors in my life. After awhile, I thought chiropractic care could not help but I've come to realize it is because I've been going to the wrong chiropractors! My job requires me to travel around quite a bit, but if I could, I would always only come see Dr. Liriam Ramirez-Ortiz! She is wonderful! I've been to over 10+ different locations and this is my favorite. Jeff at the front desk is always very police and friendly. Always making me feel at home!

I have had numbness on my right hand, for about a year. Have been coming with Dr. Ramirez Ortiz for a couple of months and I have to say the numbness has improved greatly. I am a phlebotomist and do repeated motion, but getting my back adjusted has been great for me.

The Joint is great! I love the fact that I can go to any of the offices at any given time. I was having pain in my lower back that would radiate down my legs. Almost as if I had a pinched nerve. I especially felt it when I would be working out at the gym. Checked out The Joint through a friend's recommendation, and I'm glad I did. Before I came to The Joint Chiropractic, I was in a lot of pain, which I had attributed to my sciatica. Come to find out that being double jointed by joints slip out of place and get dislocated all the time. Since I've been coming to The Joint over the last 5 months, my sciatica is gone and I'm pain free. I love that I don't have to take pain medication anymore. I feel 100% better. I'm happy my mood has definitely improved, and sometimes I even think I can see better. I would and do recommend The Joint chiropractic to anyone with body pain!

I seek out chiropractic care for the well being of my back and health. I work in construction and my body takes a toll. The discomfort in my back, lower back, and numbness in my hands. As I pass by the square everyday, I saw the sign and car parked outside, so I figured its a sign to get help and relief. Dr. Liriam consulted me: She described step by step what the procedure was. what she was doing, and why, after she asked how I felt. I felt release and comfort (much better) than before. My daughter was using KT tape for about 2 1/2 years due to her active activities. I brought her in to get checked due to her stiff neck and began with treatment. She got neck treatment and then moved on for back treatment. The next thing you know, she was no longer in need to use the KT tape. The Joint Chiropractic really helped her a lot. After experiencing pain in my arm for over a year and a half, its subsiding. My lower back pain was getting worse and worse. A world of a difference.
