I decided to give The Joint Chiropractic a shot. Normally, I wouldn’t go elsewhere since I personally work for a chiropractor providing massage therapy for his patients, but between our two schedules it’s been a challenge scheduling. Plus, bonus: the Northridge location is literally downstairs from where I live! Boom!! Also, I am getting physical therapy for my back and thought getting chiro Therapy would be a nice compliment. So far I’ve had two office visits. The day I met with Dr. Alyssa. Loved her and her adjustments. Given my issues with a 2mm slipped disc in my low back and osteoporosis in my spine. I appreciated that I didn’t have to endure additional twisting of my spine. Instead, she used the drop-table method and the activator. That was last week. After that first initial visit, I was pleasantly surprised with the overall visit. I was skeptical going to The Joint because it is a chain. And since then, I now have a new-found appreciation. Today, I met with Dr. Ivan, and he was equally great. On this visit, I decided to buy a package of 6 visits-a much better deal. The staff are friendly and both times I was able to get in and out in a decent amount of time. I will say, the initial sign up and evaluation process is a bit lengthy-like any first-time appts at a medical facility. Their documentation process is ALL digital. So for those of you who are less savvy with technology or still prefer a paper method, it will take patience completing forms online but it was all super easy. I do highly recommend checking out The Joint Chiro in Northridge.

Dr. K and Dr. Dalton are seriously just amazing chiropractors and genuinely kind people. I could go on about my positive experiences here. I almost always need biweekly adjustments with my scoliosis. I recently started bringing my boyfriend here and he purchased 10 appointments after his amazing initial consult. Being in grad school full time, I genuinely appreciate the flexibility with walk in and weekends. A walk in appt is about ~$30 with my package and my health insurance would require a $55 co-pay elsewhere! I think the choice is obvious here.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! I have come here several times only to find the store being closed without prior notice- due to lack of available chiropractors. Which I understand happens but they should at least let the customer know.. On top of that, once I came and was refused service because the chiro was apparently getting ready to head out..during business hours..? I contacted support about this and they responded once, and have since not responded. It's been several months without a response from their support team. Really disappointed with this business

I specifically come to this location for Dr Dalton Williams, he is the absolute best out of all of them I’ve tried at multiple locations all over the SFV. As someone with sciatic nerve issues, I will continue coming here and getting better. The front desk lady is always a breath of fresh air too

My sister hooked me up at the Tucson site and fortunately for me I discovered The Joint just down the street from where I live. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. I do not recommend this place. The doctors are ok but it isn’t worth it. I signed up for the special they had for a few months. Once my months were over they asked if I wanted to renew, I said no & canceled the plan I had. However, they kept charging me $89 a month…. Which is more than the plan I had signed up for! I reached out, they told me to email Damon the area manger & I have yet to get a response. I sent him emails & called the store but have not been helped.

Quick and easy retune of my skeletal system. Haven’t had a chiropractor for years and our friend recommended this spot. Great feature of this practice is that they have multiple locations. Been to the van nuys and northridge and both locations are extremely efficient and great. If you can, you must do a chiropractor adjustment once in your life. It really does wonders. 10/10 would highly recommend!

I'm a 40-year+ chiro junkie. I've seen chiropractors come and go where I live; I've had adjustments in many cities during travels (from Las Vegas to Maui to Puerto Vallarta). Most, of probably at least 40 over my life, have been good to great; a few, even, superb. The huge surprise with The Joint, Northridge, CA is every chiropractor has been great to superb. I have no idea how they continuously get terrific Doctors, especially when (admittedly) they do come and go. But they do. Thank you all, and for not just a viable but a wonderful alternative to the failed allopathic model of medicine.

I joined Joint to get services and over all the Drs are great except for 1 big thing. No one at the facility is ever on time. I don’t know what systems this company has but you’d think they should arrive before their hours. Instead they always come after 10am or the Front desk is in but no Dr. Listen we’re all human and run late but this has been every time I have visited. Everyone at the facility is guilty so it is what it is.

I went in to the office in Northridge after being disappointed and turned away at 2 other offices earlier in the week. Well, it was worth the wait. I came in after getting over a cold. The worst place imaginable. I went there with acute pain in my thoracic spine. Before they started adjusting my bones, nobody bothered to even slightly massage my tense and painful muscles to avoid injuring the tendons. As a result, I now have sharp pains in my neck and lower back. I went there three times, and each time it only got worse. When I first visited, they asked for my credit card and said there would be no charges, that it was just for registration, but a month later, they charged me membership fees. To get my money back, I had to go there in person. When I politely asked for a refund, they refused. They only returned my money after I started arguing with them and mentioned calling the police. YOU CAN’T IMAGINE A WORSE PLACE OR SERVICE! It was simply terrible!!!

This place is a scam DO NOT leave your CARD on file with them they will Run your card without your consent I didn’t relalize they kept charging me money without my consent they make you sign paper without telling you that you need to cancel or they will run your card monthly, I’m not the first person this has happened too lack of communication with the receptionist or them trying to gain money from you they took away $300 dollars from my account. They told me it was only 118 for 4 sessions and never told me I had to cancel or they will run your card, why would you run the card without patients going in doesn’t make sense at least a phone call please be professional specially when it comes down to your patients money

Dr. Jordan is a true professional. He knows why anything may hurt and how to fix it. This is not the cookie cutter adjustment one may expect from a chiropractic chain. I began going here in January this year because of this horrible lower back pain that would shoot down my leg. I couldn’t sit or walk without being in pain! I tried to make appointments with chiropractic offices and the prices for those are so high. I’m a teacher, so there’s that. I read the reviews of this place and about joint chiropractic in general and decided to give it a try. It’s $85 a month for 4 visits, which means I get to go once a week to get adjusted and I don’t think I’ll ever look back. If I feel pain, I can go more than that and it’s just $10 more. A single adjustment can be between 60-80 dollars at most chiropractic offices!! Now for the doctors, I’ve seen three different doctors there. Dr. Sam is the most experienced, love him. He helped me get through the horrible pain and gave me stretches to do and ice/heat instructions. Within a week I was feeling 90% better. Dr. Rachelle is my favorite. She’s knowledgeable and does a great job adjusting. And she is gentle. She reminds me a lot of how Dr. Sam works. Now Dr. Chang, holy moly she made me see stars. If you like a good adjustment, she will make you sound like pop rocks candy. I like to go to her when I’m not in pain and want a deep adjustment. She’s good at what she does. If you’re feeling stressed and tense, go see her. She will pop all that out of your body. In general I love the staff and the place. I rarely ever have to wait. Usually I’m in and out within 5-10 min. I have read a lot of mixed reviews about it being too quick or drs not spending enough time but at least here, if you’re in pain the chiropractors here will listen and adjust accordingly. I don’t need to sit and chat or need a full examination every time, so this is perfect for me! I go in once a week and feel less tense and achey every single time I go. If you’re reading these reviews, give it a shot, it’s sooooo worth the money. Thanks! ?

I have recently started going to “the joint” because I have been having sciatica flair ups. I am a hairstylist which means I am standing for long periods of time throughout work. Luckily I was recommended to this company by a couple of my coworkers! And I am so happy for the referral and began my adjustments. It’s a walk in type of place which is really cool. You don’t have to worry about going to a specific Dr., but I continue to see Dr. Rachel. She was the Dr I started with and I really want to continue my adjustment journey with. She is really good! She’s detail oriented with her consultation and gives you recommendations with what you need to do at home. For example what shoes are good for you, what can help your posture and shows you types of stretches you should be doing at home too. I pay monthly for my membership and let me tell you it is seriously worth it because I have already started noticing a difference. I really love this place!

From the moment I walked in the receptionist was very welcoming and nice. She answered all my questions that I had. Don't bother to call or check with the receptionist either, apparently they close early with out notice. The doctor leaves early and they don't have the decency to inform a client that is calling to confirm that the office is still open. Made the trip for nothing. All I got was "sorry, the doctor left early ". Great business ethics!!!!

My fiancée really like her experience this time around at this place. She said the chiropractor that she saw today was someone new and he took his time working on her. He was able to crack her back and also give her tips on how to avoid causing back pains so she was really appreciated of that. When we arrived here, I was able to park in the front since no one was in the place. But then when my fiancée went to work with the chiropractor, 4 people walked in like 20 minutes before closing. My fiancée can't wait to come back now since she's a member and there a California Fish Grill in the same plaza.

DO NOT JOIN JOINT I have been trying to cancel me service since I and not using them as much as I thought. I was told that I needed to go to the location I signed up at in order to cancel my membership. However the location I signed up at is temporary closed. So they keep taking $80 of month from me. Now they are no longer responding to my email request for help to cancel. I have been dealing with this issue no for 3 months. .

I am getting adjusted at least twice a week because of my condition so its important for me to feel like I am in excellent hands. I have tried many of the chiropractors at different locations. And though one office is 5 mins from me, I choose the 25 min drive to the Northridge office because of Dr. Chang. She is intuitive, knowledgeable, thorough, and skilled. And most importantly, she hears me. There is nothing worse than a chiropractor or other doctor who dismisses your pain.

Dr. Gill is fantastic!! Came in waddling like a penguin from lower back pain after moving. After the first session I had huge relief! She knew exactly which side had more pain / inflammation without me saying a word. After the second session I was back to normal. So appreciative and glad to be going back regularly.

I found The joint chiropractic on google looking for an emergency repair situation. I walked in and Dr. Gill was the attending chiropractor. She is amazing fixed my sciatica in two sessions which is never happened prior. I highly recommend anybody looking to make a move or start A maintenance program and checking out this location and Dr. Gill did an amazing job amazing work. THIS COMPANY IS LUCKY TO HAVE YOU !!!!

I came back to edit my review again; although it was very disappointing I was not fully informed of the program & policies by the front desk -- My last two visits the chiropractors that have attended me have been the absolute best. Just highly recommend to be thorough if signing up to avoid the same thing that happened to me.

The doctor is ifantastic, very qualified. !!! I go weekly. I've been to 3 of the Joints and all doctors are good. For that I would give a 5 * But.... I had issues with a staff person from Northridge clinic. What I was told by one staff, she did not honor and spoke to me very unprofessionally.

DO NOT GO HERE. The Joint Chiropractic isn't a clinic and they dont care how you're feeling, they just have to ask. They want you our as fast as possible and don't even try to adjust you. Both times I've come to this location and been "adjusted" by the student chiropractor and always leave feeling worse than before.
