They won’t let you cancel your membership. I’ve been trying to cancel since January, and they give me the run around. I have to dispute the charges every month with bank. I moved out of state with the nearest location being an hour and a half away, and they told me I have to go to the original location I signed up at to cancel. I’m not flying across the country to go into a specific store. Complete BS. And the chiropractic care is minimal at best. Not worth $79/month.

I had a pinched nerve that caused some numbness in my left upper back/shoulder, and I also tend to lean on that same shoulder constantly, so it rested higher than other shoulder. I visited the Joint on a whim, favoring their hours and no need to set up an appointment. After the initial consultation and three follow ups so far, the adjustments have "reset" my shoulder and the numbness is almost gone! Very quick, easy, and I felt no pressure to return due to several appointments or anything.
I also have some lower back pain (the main reason I stopped in at random) due to bad posture and a desk job, and it clears quickly after adjustments.
I look forward to future visits! I probably plan to return once a month after my first couple of months of the 69.00 deal.

Weekend hours are awesome. Had a sports spill on a Friday night and could hardly move on Saturday, but was so relieved to know that I had help and didn't have to wait until Monday! Also appreciate different locations since I go to one site from home and another from work. All the adjustments have been good! Ride horseback a lot, so always need maintenance. I have insurance for visits elsewhere but The Joint is more convenient!

I play golf pretty regularly and because of the constant force applied in contacting the ball, along with twisting of my back, I often feel lower back and mid back pain when the pain couldn't be alleviated with my regular stretching routine, I sought out chiropractic relief. I came here two years ago. I wasn't happy with the work the guy was doing, but he did give me a good suggestion for my lower bag. It worked for some time only tho, and now I'm back and happy to see that they have someone that really cares and knows what she's doing. It makes huge deference when your Dr shows that he or she is not there only to get paid, but to do their job. And cares as well, and dose her job professionally
I'll tell you tho two days a week its not enough. The girl in front is nice to. And oh yeah the place is clean now. The place wasn't as clean, was nor clean. I'm telling the truth.

As result of a car accident several years back, I've suffered long term pain & problems with my neck & shoulders that has required regular chiropractic care. As a new transplant to the "small town" of Oceanside from the big city of LA, I've been at a loss for where to go to replace my longtime chiropractor in LA, but desperate need for pain relief led me to yelp to seek out a recommendation in my new hometown. "The Joint" caught my eye with its strong reviews & especially its days/hours of operation; I had never found a chiropractic office open 7 days a week & for a person often in a good deal of pain, that was an answer to my prayers! I was also pleasantly pleased to find that both Dr. Dana (weekday Chiro) & Dr. Caitlin (weekend Chiro) are equally skilled & wonderfully interested in their patients. The office is especially accomodating to walk in appointments, which I especially appreciate as a working Mom who's schedule is always changing! I see Dr. Dana weekly, since I subscribed to the monthly membership which offers a weekly adjustment at a can't be beat-value! Dr. Dana works long & hard, often seeing client after client, but she amazes me with her ability to make each client feel known & valued. She often remembers our previous conversation the week before & whenever I ask for advice or a recommendation, whether health-related or otherwise, she is eager to help & sends me home with a list of suggestions shes written down to assist me. I appreciate greatly the personal investment she makes in each person, truly in contrast to other negative reviews: I have always felt like an individual here, not a number when it comes to service.
As for skill, I find Dr. Dana's touch to be especially therapeutic & nurturing...I've often thought she would be an excellent massage therapist & am disappointed that she's not one! ;) But she also surprises me with the strength she is able to wield when she needs to, to get my back to release. She has the right balance and never forces anything.
I've been to Dr. Caitlin twice over weekend days & was also pleased with the service she provided. Her technique is very effective but perhaps a bit less gentle, with more emphasis on strength. I remember thinking she would be especially well suited for those "hard to crack" men because she can pack a punch if she needs to! However, I was never uncomfortable as a smaller framed woman, with any of her maneuvers. Both Doctors at "The Joint" are the ultimate professionals, who are kind, caring and clearly believe in the healing work they do!
The cherry on top is that "The Joint" always employs wonderfully friendly, accomodating front desk receptionists, that I enjoy interacting with weekly. Maria is a special gem with her sunny, personable disposition that makes me feel at home when I arrive for my weekly sessions. Ignore the naysayers that don't believe you can't get quality service at an economical price! My experience is; The Joint is that rare exception- Doing it Right & I'm thrilled I found it!

First let me start off discussing those that complain about the pricing or business model. I am guessing they are the same ones that complain they can not use two 10% discounts to get 20% off. The Joint has created an innovative idea that makes consistent chiro care affordable. There is nothing out there like it and IT IS incredibly affordable. If you don't like the idea of a monthly fee or a package because you go once in a while then pay 2 to 3x as much and go somewhere else.
Now for Dr. Dana. Don't let her size fool you, she can get you adjusted. I am not a small guy but she has techniques that will have you cracking and feeling good. She uses more technique than brut force and to me it says she knows what she is doing in a controlled way and with a specific objective in mind. She is really about getting you adjusted not just hearing you crack.
This was my first visit and she spent a lot more time than I expected. She figured out what my issues and pains where and went about focused on addressing them. She did and I am singed up for the $69 a month package which lets me go once a week. She also gave me things to do at home to enhance what she did.

I'm a long time Chiropractic patient. I have a recurring problem. Last week I injured myself and needed to see a chiropractor. Fairly new in town I was told to visit the joint by a friend. Best advice ever! I saw Dr. Dana, explained to her a little of my past and the issue I was dealing with that morning. She quickly assessed my problem and put me on a table. Dr. Dana manipulated every area and worked me over better than men 3 times her size have. She did everything with care and patience, reminding me to relax and allow her to move me. I tense up sometimes with anticipation of the move about to happen. I saw Dr. Dana three times between last week and this week. Before I visited her, I had not slept without pain for a few nights, I had pain sitting in my car in traffic and staring down at a computer was the worst. With each visit all of my daily tasks became less painful. And today I feel fantastic, almost back to normal. I've slept much more the last two nights. Dr. Dana also stretched me out and gave me some suggested stretching exercises to do at home that have helped. The office itself is located in a busy shopping center surrounded by lots of shops and food choices so if you have to wait as a walk in, you have more than your phone for entertainment. The inside of the office is super modern and has a couple of plush leather couches to relax in before seeing one of the doctors. Front staff has been extremely courteous, friendly and helpful on each visit. This is a true hidden gem in Oceanside and North County in general as many of her patients I meet seem to come from all over to see her.
