Meet The Doctors
Dr. Amy Hernandez, D.C. is a Southern California native and found herself inspired by chiropractic after her time spent as a patient of chiropractic herself. When she saw firsthand the help that routine chiropractic care can do for a person, she knew becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic was the career for her. Dr. Hernandez attended the Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, California and graduated with her Doctorate in 2008.
Dr. Hernandez is passionate about all things patient care. She loves being able to get to the root of her patient’s injuries and issues and through her chiropractic efforts provide relief and healing to the community. Dr. Hernandez has also learned to serve a wide range of patients from infants to grandparents all with a range of cases, including migraine relief, sciatica pain, neck pain, and lower back pain through the use of manual manipulation.
Dr. Hernandez’s passion is helping her patients achieve a happier, healthier lifestyle and achieve their goals through a well-adjusted spine.
When Dr. Hernandez isn’t working at The Joint Chiropractic in Pico Rivera CA, she is spending time with her family or catching up on movies and sleep.
Dr. Thomas is a 1987 Los Angeles College of Chiropractic graduate who says he fell in love with The Joint’s model because “The Joint is taking the chiropractic profession back to its roots by making high-quality chiropractic care available to everyone”.
Dr Thomas and his wife Rosangela (Ro) live in Huntington Beach, California where they fully embrace the beach lifestyle. Dr Thomas is a lifelong fitness enthusiast who enjoys cycling the coast and hitting the gym. When not working at The Joint Chiropractic, Dr Thomas and his wife enjoy international travel and spending time with their 4 adult children (still waiting for grandchildren).
