Dr. William Wolf Adler joined The Joint Chiropractic family of healthcare providers in 2015 and has worked at the Wilshire & Highlands, Rosemead and Ventura locations. He joined the Rosemead team in July 2019 and was promoted to lead doctor in February 2020. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from University of California, Los Angeles in 1981 and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Los Angeles Chiropractic College in 1992.

Dr. William, as he prefers to be called, says the thing he loves most about being in the chiropractic field is "having a lasting impact on the health and livelihood of his patients and being a positive role model for them.”

A product of the San Fernando Valley, Dr. William was raised in Granada Hills… where he also helped raise his son and daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as camping and hiking, but also stays active with racquetball and boxing.

Dr. William is a second-generation chiropractor, but forged his own unique path by following his other passions before finally following in his parents’ footsteps. Prior to entering chiropractic college, Dr. William spent time as a welterweight boxer, a professional racquetball player, and a firefighter paramedic for Los Angeles County.

Although he didn’t immediately train to be a chiropractor, he knew very early in his life that he would one day be a chiropractor. Dr. William says, “it was predestined for me to be a chiropractor. Not only was my mother a chiropractic doctor, my father was a well-respected pioneer in the chiropractic profession and was already bestowing his knowledge upon me at a very young age... my dad already taught me how to adjust, as a teenager, well before chiropractic college.

Along with the lessons his dad taught him, Dr. William has accumulated over 28 years of chiropractic experience, which he paid forward as a Professor at Cleveland Chiropractic College and Los Angeles College of Chiropractic for a combined 10 years. Dr. William is well versed with various adjusting techniques; is experienced with infant care; can provide prenatal and postnatal care; and is also very experienced with extremity and “TMJ” adjusting. His specialties include: Scoliosis and spinal rehabilitation, orthopedics, neurology, sports medicine, and CMUA.

Dr. William is excited about his involvement with the Rosemead clinic, because “This franchisee lead team is very customer focused and that is great! We incorporate a mix of corporate and small business ideas while staying focused on providing the best service while truly keeping the patient’s best interests in mind… but overall I'm very excited to deliver the power of the adjustment to heal the body.”

In Case You Didn’t Know

Prior to joining The Joint Chiropractic model, he ran his own successful practices in Malibu, Granada Hills, and Santa Clarita. Living in Los Angeles has allowed him to have numerous encounters with some celebrities, but practicing in LA has also provided the opportunity to treat some well-known names in the entertainment industry.

The one thing that Dr. William says he must have in his refrigerator is “water to keep the disc spaces in his spine hydrated.”

He says that if he could invite any four people from history to his ideal dinner party, he would invite Muhamad Ali, Joe Lewis, Sugar Ray Robinson, and Jim Thorne… “Their presence, talent, and work ethic were head and shoulders above anyone else.”

Besides his work as a doctor, one of Dr. William’s proudest occupational accomplishments, he says, "Is having saved many lives and even having delivered 4 babies over the course of my 10-year fire fighter paramedic career.”

My first day was June 20th, 2022. Since my first day I have worked in Thousand Oaks, Ventura & Port Hueneme, leaving only Simi Valley and the future Oxnard location. I Attended Palmer College of Chiropractic West in the South Bay Area and graduated in 1996 earning my DC (Doctor of Chiropractic). SBCC (Santa Barbara City College) Is where I Received my Associates degree and the required classes for Palmer West. Chiropractic is special for many reasons but in our profession we get to witness miracles, some small and some large on a daily basis. Chiropractic is also incredibly important for educating the public about the human body, its form, function and most importantly how to maintain its optimal health. Until my beginning at The Joint I have worked in private practice in Woodland Hills, CA from 1997 until present. I was raised in Oak Park, CA off of Kanan Rd & the 101. My favorite Hobby is Golf, I’ve been Playing since I was 10 years old. I have two daughters 23 & 25 years old and an X-Wife Their mother, lol. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2012 from Fordham University in New York City, and in 2019, earned her Doctor of chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College.

Dr. Ashley loves that chiropractic care has the ability to affect so much positive change in her patient’s health. She loves getting to educate her patients on how to make lasting changes to their health so that they are free to live the lives they deserve.

Dr. Ashley is a dual licensed chiropractor in California and Texas, and had her own private practice in Houston before moving back to Santa Barbara where she is originally from.

In her spare time, Dr. Ashley enjoys traveling, spending time in nature, hiking, reading at the beach, daily walks with her dog, Petey, and cooking with her fiancé, William, who is a chef.

Although he didn’t immediately train to be a chiropractor, he knew very early in his life that he would one day be a chiropractor. Dr. William says, “it was predestined for me to be a chiropractor. Not only was my mother a chiropractic doctor, my father was a well-respected pioneer in the chiropractic profession and was already bestowing his knowledge upon me at a very young age... my dad already taught me how to adjust, as a teenager, well before chiropractic college.

Along with the lessons his dad taught him, Dr. William has accumulated over 28 years of chiropractic experience, which he paid forward as a Professor at Cleveland Chiropractic College and Los Angeles College of Chiropractic for a combined 10 years. Dr. William is well versed with various adjusting techniques; is experienced with infant care; can provide prenatal and postnatal care; and is also very experienced with extremity and “TMJ” adjusting. His specialties include: Scoliosis and spinal rehabilitation, orthopedics, neurology, sports medicine, and CMUA.

    Dr. Ashley is, without question, the best chiropractor I have ever had. As a military spouse, I’ve moved frequently over the past five years and have worked with many different chiropractors across the country. My recurring neck issues bring me in at least once a year, and they’re the same problems that first led me to seek chiropractic care in 2020. When I moved to California in 2022, I initially went to another chiropractor but had a negative experience. I found the Joint in 2024 and I quickly made the decision to switch and be treated exclusively by Dr. Ashley and I am so grateful I did. Her adjustments were consistently effective, kept me pain-free, and helped me stay active with running and strength training throughout Physical Therapy School. She has a rare combination of skill, precision, and genuine care that is hard to find. I’ve since moved out of California and truly miss her expertise and care. I have yet to find another chiropractor in my new state whose treatments my body responds to the same way.     Every time I go in there is at least a 10 minute wait. Today it was over 20 minutes, so I decided to get some errands done at CVS and walk back. When I came back, they then told me they couldn’t see me because they had a lunch break in 2 minutes. I understand they need a lunch break, but I also understand good customer service. I am just disappointed that every time I go in, no matter the time, there is (in my opinion) a lengthy wait. They always seem to be getting new patients and that is the hold up, but I wish they either had 2 chiropractors at this location, or had a designated time for new patients. I understand this is the downside of a walk in place, but I am more disappointed they refused to accommodate me as I came back and badly need an adjustment. It feels they cater more towards getting new people in rather than taking care of their existing patients who pay a monthly fee for the convenience of a walk in clinic.

    Dr. Ashley is absolutely amazing! I had been stuck and could not rotate my upper body for the past year. My last chiropractor just could not get an adjustment.     I cannot say enough good things about this place! After suffering for years in pain. After years of seeing Dr after Dr. (Including other chiropractors), I've finally found a place that seems to know what they are talking about! I've only had 2 visits, with 2 different Drs, and they both gave me (and my husband) answers to questions we've been asking Drs for years! They take the time to listen to you, and seem to genuinely care. I appreciate their set up. You don't need an appointment, they have a ton of locations, and their prices are reasonable. I like the fact that you can go online and see their pricing packages. After calling around to chiropractors in the area, this was by far the most affordable, and easiest to visit. I know I have a long road to recovery, but I actually feel like I'm in good hands, and I'm hopeful that I can actually heal and be pain free sooner than later thanks to this great group of Drs.

    I would like to put in a good word at the quality of care I have received at the Joint Chiropractic here throughout Ventura County. The Chiropractors are all top notch! I would like to especially point out Dr. Ashley, Dr. Lisa, Dr. Hall and Dr. Adler! I had hurt my back years ago after spending years as a cameraman, and the falls that came with it, along with a car accident. I was told by medical doctors I needed back surgery to correct the problem. From that day I went to Chiropractors for relief. I started with the Joint about 4 years ago! I am 45 years old and now feel 30! Every Chiropractor I saw played a part in my results, and my new health, living pain free. A decompression adjustment from Dr. Ashley about 3 weeks ago in the Hueneme Clinic, took the final pressure off the nerve between my shoulder blades that had been plaguing me. I am now pain free! If you stick with their plans and treatment and go often, the results can be amazing and inexpensive. I now sleep better, I am 100% more active, I am losing weight, I am lifting weights, and I am completely pain free!     Love the subscription business model. Makes the cost per adjustment very reasonable compared to other chiropractic care. Having multiple locations throughout the area is huge benefit. Worst part about it is forgetting to use all my visits every month. But that’s on me.

    My husband and I had a one time voucher for a free consultation and adjustment that was given to us last year when we purchased at wellness package and we were told it was going to be available whenever we wanted to use it so it had no expiration date. We walked in and the front receptionist was already in a bad mood (not welcoming at all). My husband completed his paper work and I asked the receptionist if we can use the voucher but she didn't even look at it and she told us, NO that was supposed to be used on the first visit. Why would they give out something and not honor it? Dr. Reid's was amazing, he did my husband's adjustment but the receptionist did make sure we don't come back to this place. If they offer a wellness plan saying they are giving a free voucher, don't believe them this vouchers are not honorable.

    I was very skeptical about seeing a chiropractor but my hubby said try it, you’ll be amazed!     The receptionists are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The chiropractors are great. I always feel better after a session. I have a huge problem relaxing and they are all very understanding. I also like that I can walk-in and get treatment when I have time. No appointment necessary.

    I have been going there routinely once or twice a week for the last two months. Two days ago I got treatment from one of your new chiropractor and I don’t think I was adjusted correctly.     It was my first time at a chiropractor. It felt rushed and it didn’t seem as if the dr. that helped me was listening to me.     Dr. Rahn is amazing and the only reason I’m not giving this a lower rating. My first visit was amazing so I signed up on the spot. I was made aware of the hours of operation. However, when I went in person I was refused due to the wait list. I understand that the doctors are busy, however this is a critical flaw in the business procedure. Expectations need to be set from initial sign up. For example, services are limited to availability, we cannot guarantee being seen past “X” time, please call ahead. If I the model is based on walk-ins then these things need to be made clear… otherwise switch to appointment based. Once again, nothing against the staff. This is a QMS issue.

    The chiropractic care at the Port Hueneme location has been especially good, helpful and therapeutic. I never feel rushed with plenty of time and attention spent on every issue I mention and more. I point out areas of concern and the doctor goes directly to the exact location of pain and discomfort and I believe my spine is improving. I am wrangling a two-year-old on a daily basis so neck, shoulder/scapula and lower back pain have became common. After neglecting my self-care over the holidays, I am now back on track with weekly visits to continue with much-needed improvement and relief. No matter which office I visit, the staff is always friendly, courteous and attentive. I have zero complaints about this wonderful business that has made chiropractic care affordable.Thank you!

    Went to Dr Jensen in camarillo for 15 years but tried out this place for the military discount offered. I've fractured 9 bones in my neck and back and suffered 4 major head injuries so chiropractic therapy has been a constant in my life and probably always will be. All this to say, 2 visits here convinced me to switch my patronage. So long as you don't go at the end of the day, you get extensive care according to your wishes (20min). The Dr Roger Rahn is exceptionally gifted in his field, and uniquelysuited to treat headaches. I've suffered 4 concussions with the average recovery time of 8 months and with excessive peppermint usage I've resigned myself to chronic headaches that will never fully go away. Dr Rahn has extensive knowledge as a former headache specialist, gives me stretch advice on each unique ache and pain, and has never once rushed a session with me. He's methodical and kind, and comes with bonus dry humor and a quick wit. I have yet to give the other two Doctors here a chance because there is no way they'll measure up. I hope this guys has a progeny somewhere or lasts longer than I do because I've seen significant improvement on my issues and headaches that grossly outshine any other treatment I've ever tried. The hours, location and affordability also played a part in my decision. I currently have the 4x monthly membership but a recent hospital stay will have me increasing that.. Try it, it'll change and increase your enjoyment of life.

    I love this place!! I had never seen a chiropractor before coming to The Joint, now I come in at least once a week. I’m a dental hygienist and I had always been told about the benefits of a chiropractor for people in my profession but I honestly just didn’t think I needed it. The relief I feel after a visit is amazing and I feel like I have less issues with pinched nerves or painful tweaks in my neck. It’s also nice to get to experience the different techniques that each chiropractor uses, there’s something different that I love about all of the doctors that work at this location. The front office people are great too. Miranda will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and answer all your questions. Highly recommended to anyone and everyone!
