Dr. Roger Tsurumoto currently resides in West Roseville. He is a proud husband and father of three girls aged 12, 9 & 3 and one boy age 6. He graduated from Life Chiropractic West in 1997 and has been practicing chiropractic care for 27 years. His favorite part of working at The Joint Chiropractic is providing quality chiropractic care at an affordable rate and helping keep our community healthy.
I am from Le Grand Ca, which is a small town about 20 minutes away from Merced Ca. Growing up, I had no knowledge of what chiropractic was and did not learn anything about it until my late teen/early adulthood. After graduating from Le Grand High School, I went off to Fresno State where I received my Bachelor of Science in Community Health Sciences and a minor in Spanish. While in school, I also was a volunteer at Madera Children’s Hospital where I became a first responder as well as a pharmacy technician.
After my graduation in 2016, I worked with a non-profit organization called California Asthma Collaborative as a community health worker. Through my experiences I learned that my passion was working with the community, specifically pediatrics and pregnancy. While working with the community I met a chiropractor that showed me the way to chiropractic! I always had the mentality that there was more that someone could do to help their chronic conditions. I went to a champions weekend at Life Chiropractic College West and before I left, I had submitted my application to attend.
I graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2022. That is where I learned the amazing abilities that the body has to heal itself from the inside out. I continue to engage in learning and increase my knowledge in pediatrics and pregnancy. I am certified in the Webster technique, which is a chiropractic technique focused on the care of pregnant mothers. I am also a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and working towards certification with the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP) to better serve my community.
On my free time I like to spend time together outside in our garden with my husband, our dog (Spyro), and our chickens. We also enjoy hiking or going on long walks with Spyro. I also like to try new baking and/or food recipes.
