    Something I appreciate about the Joint Chiropractic is the ability to "try out " different chiropractors and find the one that you can relate to and feel the most comfortable with. I originally joined at another location but I ended up coming to this location to see Dr Fritter for most of my visits. He is really awesome-- very thorough and his staff including Christina, are wonderful to work with! I can't recommend them enough! They don't bill insurance which is the only negative I would say, but I came here.and paid out of pocket even though I have Chiropractic Care through my insurance. I was happy I could use my FSA though! I would come here for all my chiropractic needs!

    I had scheduled an appointment for my 12 week old baby because she has been struggling with colic, reflux, muscle tension, and a preference for turning her head. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing from start to finish. We arrived a little before our scheduled appointment time. When we walked in, there was another patient waiting and no receptionist at the front desk. The chiropractor came out, told us the receptionist would be there shortly, and handed us a stack of paperwork to complete. Several minutes later, the receptionist came rushing in out of breath and didn’t acknowledge or apologize to the patients who had been waiting. Throughout the time we were there, walk-in patients were taken ahead of us, even though we had a scheduled appointment. By the time we were finally called back, it was about an hour after our appointment time. Once we met with the chiropractor, he told us that he had only been licensed for two months and had never treated a baby before. I appreciated his honesty, but as a parent, that information made me uncomfortable. Although he said he felt confident, he seemed unsure and inexperienced. We ultimately decided not to go through with the treatment because I wasn’t comfortable having my kid be one of his first pediatric patients. The receptionist also came across as unprofessional and somewhat rude throughout our visit. Communication with the chiropractor was awkward as well. He spoke very quietly and didn’t seem to have much confidence during our interaction. Overall, the combination of the long wait despite having an appointment, walk-ins being prioritized, the disorganized front office, and learning only after waiting an hour that the provider had no experience treating infants made this a very frustrating experience. We left without receiving care and would not return.

    I’ve gone here on and off for the last 2 years. I normally see dr Mack. And he is awesome. This last time I went I think my chiropractors name was Chris Fritter? Not certain; but I went from a pain level of 6 to a pain level of 2-3. I had been using an ice pack and heating pad to get through work and could barely get into my car and shut the door.     My partner was refused service. Nothing on their website says they will deny you if you’ve recently been in a minor accident… they won’t even let you sign a waiver that your pain has nothing to do with the minor accident. In fact the pain comes from 30 years ago being part of usmc… but I guess they don’t care about our veterans like they say they do. He left work an hour early and was turned away… thanks for nothing.

    I’ve had mixed experiences at this office. The front desk staff is consistently friendly, and Dr. Mack has always been efficient and professional. However, the care has become very inconsistent due to being seen by multiple different chiropractors. Some have seemed hesitant or unsure during adjustments, especially with neck work, which raised concerns. Our most recent visit was unacceptable. My wife has chronic back issues from a prior injury and was actually feeling good for once. During her appointment, Dr. Fritter performed a neck adjustment that was abrupt and forceful enough to immediately cause significant pain—she arrived to the car in tears. This wasn’t temporary soreness; it aggravated her underlying condition and has continued to affect her beyond the appointment. We will not be returning for care with anyone other than Dr. Mack and Dr. K (i forget his name, but he's a younger man). They are the only doctors I'd trust at this location.

    This was my first time ever going to a chiropractor. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by a wonderful woman named Christine who is extremely helpful and polite already making your experience more relaxing.     This location near The Nugget Market has the best chiropractor, Dr. Mack. He is very thorough and takes his time. The inside is extremely well maintained and clean. Christine, the receptionist, is so kind and really makes me feel welcomed each time I walk in. HiGHLY recommend this location. I have never had to wait more than maybe 5 minutes to be seen. I have had numbness in my foot for more than a year due to a pinched nerve. Since Dr. Mack has worked on my leg and back for the past 3 months, I have 1/2 of the feeling back in my foot. I will continue going to hopefully get full use of my foot again.

    Dr. Mack is amazing! I used to live in the area and get adjusted at this location weekly. I have since moved away but always make it a point to stop by for an adjustment when in the area - like today. I’m always greeted by Dr. Mack and he ensures I get a solid adjustment each visit.     I have arthritis in my back and neck, along with sciatica and have been in pain for years. I wake up at night with sciatica pain. I decided to try The Joint after my daughter told me about it.     This is my second time visiting The Joint, this time I went to the Roseville location on Pleasant Grove blvd next to The Nugget Market. What a great experience! Dr. Mack provided my adjustment and literally has magic hands. Very professional, personable and makes you feel taken care of. I can’t stress enough how forward I look to coming in for my weekly adjustment. This has changed my mood, my ability to sleep better and the combination just makes me feel like I’m taking care of me for once.

    Hurt my back pretty badly. My mobility was limited with pain and muscle spasms. Within a month I’m moving almost normally and the pain is only an occasional ache.     I was somewhat skeptical about going to a chiropractor, however I found myself in need of HELP/relief from pain on a random Sunday.     After years of chiropractic neglect, I woke up one morning finding myself in pain that couldn't be explained. I was fortunate enough to be able to fill the hole of a cancelation with my massage therapist. She strongly urged me to get in to see a chiropractor. With my long-time DC too far away to be reasonable to go to, I turned to The Joint. I have seen their locations all over and have even had clients give good reviews when I saw their key-tags and commented. I have now seen Dr Mack twice and feel better after each visit. He listens to my revolving concerns and is attentive to my needs. I haven't had enough exposure with TJ to provide a thorough opinion, but I can say that I was leary to sign up for a plan when I originally came in at a different location, but now I look forward to my next visit. Both the front staff and the Doctors have been attentive and respectful. The environment is clean and very presentable. The only thing I'm not a real fan of is the open Floorplan room vs individual areas. Even though there isn't, in most cases, a reason for seclusion, it is still a Dr visit scenario and it would be nice. I don't need to overhear about other people's medical concerns as they don't need to hear about mine. This is not a fault of theirs since this is their format, just an observation. If it is big enough concern, a private chiropractic office would be the better choice. However, it isn't a big enough issue for me at this time to make me want to change my current path.     Have gone twice, both times there were people in front of me receiving care. Every single person including myself received the same exact trio of adjustments. They in no way target your problem areas. The first guy I saw was quite gentle, yet effective. The second woman quite literally jumped on my back while I was falling off the table. It was super awkward and uncomfortable. I’ve had a migraine and neck stiffness since I left her treatment. Will never let her adjust me again. I will go back to see the first guy since I did sign up for the package. After the 2 months is up I’ll cancel.

    DO NOT GO HERE!!! Worst chiropractor I’ve ever been to. Rushed me in and out. Tried to explain what was hurting and instead of targeting that area. He told how I should buy a membership. Then proceeded to do three basic adjustments that in no way targeted my area of pain. Once that was over he took me to the front and again tried pushing me into getting a membership. I strongly suggest you go to a family practice where they will actually give you the time and attention that you are paying for.

    Only go to Dr. Mack. ONLY. Dr. Vasey was not to my liking at all. Walked and disregarded me when I came in line for my adjustment. Proceeds to ignore my turn, asks the new patient to come on up, and THEY had to correct him. Not a peep from me, but Dr. Vasey looked like I wronged him or something and asked me if I STILL want an adjustment before the new patient, HAVING TO WAIT LONGER. I tell him, "Yeah...."     Dr. Mack is an incredibly gifted chiropractor. He is able to adjust things that five other chiropractors have not been able to reach in my spine. Not only that, I had a ganglion cyst in my foot that's almost totally cleared up already and I've only even seen him for a month. My podiatrist told me that it would never go away and that I would have to have surgery to remove it and then most likely it would come back but it's calming down and resolving itself with Dr. Mack's adjustments. I can't say enough good things about him! Try them out for yourself. They have a $29 session special going on right now for new patients.

Over the course of two visits, he helped relieve persistent pain I've had in my neck (which has been very stiff and hard to adjust).     Not really sure about this location but I can assure i won't ever be back. Poor customer service & communication about their operation. I show up at 1:30 pm when the sign says they close at 2 on Saturdays. As I'm walking up the worker had just locked the front door for the day. I looked in and there's two people standing there. If you want to get out of work so bad just say so, communicate that you're closing early. Otherwise I would've went straight to the Granite Bay location where I know they actually care about their customers.

I moved outta state and I'm at this location again ONLY because I'm visiting family friends. Nothing has changed and they're still snobby and elicit any signs of professionalism.     I have been going to the Joint to see Dr. Jason Mack for 8.5 years. I started seeing him when I was pregnant with my youngest and I want able to stand up straight. He was able to fix me and get me through my geriatric pregnancy and I have been a believer since. I am also very active and train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu about 18-20 hours a week.     For the past three months, I’ve been dealing with neck stiffness, and my attempts to stretch my neck and back on my own haven’t been successful. However, ever since I started going to The Joint in Roseville, off Pleasant Grove, my back feels better, and most importantly, my neck stiffness has significantly reduced. It’s my first time visiting a chiropractor, and I must say, the experience has been great, for the last month! The staff and doctors are friendly, and the service is efficient – they get me in and out while ensuring everything is done correctly. I also appreciate that it doesn’t disrupt my schedule. I’ll continue to update this review as time goes on.

    I've been having pain and was referred to this place. I got here at 3:40pm without realizing they closed at 4pm, but they had me start filling out information. Then they took the tablet from me while I was filling out information at 3:50 and said they're closing and I have to come back another time. I was the only one waiting and it wasn't 4pm yet. I am honestly on the verge of tears. It took a lot to get myself to come here in the first place and I'll never be back after being sent away.

    Dr. Mack is a BRILLIANT chiropractor!! He takes such good care of me -- he keeps me agile, athletic, and out of pain. I am 63 and live in Grass Valley, where I teach aerobics and go hiking with my dog, and my kitty on my shoulders, every chance I get.     Dr. Mack and Dr. Russo have done wonders on my back and neck. My range of motion and stiffness in my neck was horrible. I had constant soreness and pain in my neck and headaches were common. After two weeks and a few visits I feel more limber and pain is non existent. The golf game is improving too from feeling more flexible.

    The Nugget Plaza office is amazing, Christine greets you with a smile and already I feel better, you should give her a fat raise!! Dr. Mack is the best, before and after each step of the adjustment he feels to make sure it was effective and if not just right he will do it again until it is right. I do the drop table for my hips and my neck, when I leave the office I feel the difference right away!

    I came a couple of days ago and they would not take me because they said it was their lunch hour even though they have different hours posted on the door. Today I came in and the lady at the front desk is so rude. She didn’t greet me at all even though I said hi! Then I scanned my card as usual and she said nothing, others came in and she greeted them and told them to go on the back. I rather go to other location where I feel welcome.     Not sure which receptionists the others were referring to, perhaps she’s not there anymore. I’ve encountered two different receptionists, and they’ve been really pleasant and respectful. I’m pleased with the service and the adjustments I receive at this location.

    Front desk receptionist was extremely rude, especially the girl that worked on Sunday towards closing. It’s obvious reading the previous complaints about this receptionist, they really don’t care about their patients. Why continue keeping this rude receptionist?? Is the receptionist married or dating one of the chiropractors? Is that reason you’re keeping her? I also noticed she was arguing with another patient when I arrived yesterday. She shouldn’t work with the public, very angry and bitter person.

    I call them and the same receptionist that normally gave me bad service picked up, I tell her I need to be refunded immediately for the last charge on my card. She says “It's a recurring payment so you would've had to cancel beforehand. I’ll have to have my boss call you back” I tell her that i was told by the doctor(short tan guy) at the 2 month point he would tell me what i needed to do next, and was never talked to about that, so I wasn't aware I had hit two months otherwise i would've cancelled in time had the doctor updated me like he should've. She then asks me why I’m cancelling in the first place so I explain to her everything I had been through excluding the bad experience with her and then she starts to be understanding and says she’ll go ahead and refund me. Wow i thought only your boss could though? She also never said they would work to be better about their service. Please do yourselves a favor and DO NOT COME HERE. THIS PLACE IS GARBAGE. And I know the owner will probably give some superficial response, please pay no attention to it, you can trust me when I say this is one of the biggest wastes of time and MONEY i have ever had. Lesson learned, the second I so much as sniff bad customer service, I’m out. DON'T DO IT! Be safe and Happy Holidays!

    Extremely frustrated with this location! I’ve been in 3 times this week and have yet to get an adjustment. The first day there was no doctor in the office, the second it was a 45 minute wait and the third time I was told a 20-25 minute wait. I was told I could go run an errand and go back in. 25 minutes later it was still a 25 minute wait. I don’t have an hour to wait when I go in. I carve out enough time to get in and get out. I understand waiting behind a couple people, but a 45 minute wait is unacceptable. There were supposed to be 2 doctors in, but one was on vacation. It happens, but where was the sub? At least twice in one week they’re a doctor short? I am in this location often, as it’s the closest to my house. It seems like there’s a new doctor in there on a monthly basis (could be a bit longer) and then they quit and are off to something different. Not just to a new location, but away from The Joint altogether. It really makes you wonder why. Why is the turnover so high? Why can’t they retain doctors? And mostly, why do patients have to suffer because of it? If I don’t make it in because I’m busy, I lose an adjustment. If I try 3 times to go in and they’re too busy I still lose an adjustment. Where’s my free pass? If you have unlimited time to sit and wait, this is the place for you! Update 8/27 - I tried to go in again and the door was locked. Open sign out and the light up sign on. Later, the front desk girl, very snootily pointed out that the door said they were closed for lunch for 45 minutes. IN THE SMALLEST PRINT OF ANYTHING ON THE DOOR. Not that you’d see unless you studied the door. I looked by the hours for something saying they closed for lunch. Nothing there. Higher up and tiny there’s a little mention.

    Absolutely fantastic service. Long overdue review as I have been coming here since 2016. Dr. Mack and the other doctors have always been so pleasant, informative, and attentive. I have had experience with chiropractic since 2008 in several states where I live while in the military. This business model is by far the best from a financial point of view. They do not try and bankrupt you, but instead they make the most affordable I have ever seen while not sacrificing the level of care. The staff and very helpful and professional too. Keep up the amazing job! To my military friends he has special rates for us.

    In town visiting last week and needed an adjustment, but realized that all Joint locations are unfortunately not created equally. I visit my local 2 locations twice weekly, so I am very familiar with how long my adjustment should take, and what the chiropractors usually do each time. I found this location to be a little different - the receptionist was reading a book when I came in and didn’t bother to set it down while I explained I was in from out of town and forgot my card, and the lobby isn’t as welcoming as the other locations I’ve been to. What bothered me most, however, was that there were 5 people ahead of me, and you were expected to not only sit and watch others get adjusted (rather than wait in the lobby), but I was also asked to get right onto an open table and just lay there awkwardly while 2 others were adjusted. It had the horrible feeling of a “conveyor belt” style of treating the patients. The other locations I have been to have had patients sit in the lobby, then the doctor calls them back and says hello, one by one. You aren’t asked to sit and observe others being adjusted. And you don’t have multiple people watching you. If another patient is being worked on, that would be okay, but to have 2-3 other patients just sitting in chairs and staring is very uncomfortable and very unpleasant. The doctor also didn’t review my history with me or my pain level for the day, which I found to be unnerving since it was my first time into this location. I felt like he wasn’t adjusting me based on my needs, but just doing a generic adjustment to move on to the next patient. It was very disappointing. I won’t be back to this location.

    First visit - I couldn’t stand up straight . I was very concerned when I walked in to the Joint. I came out being able to stand up straight with no pain or discomfort.. Point is .. I felt better I will need a few more sessions to have healing but I did get relief. Thank you *****:)

    They have good chiropractors that are great with relieving pain and other symptoms. However, they're not winning any awards for customer service in my book. None of their receptionists are friendly, they make it obvious they're not interested in talking to you. Not to mention one of their doctors is a little inappropriate in conversation. For example, he once told me I needed a haircut... So they're pretty unprofessional on that front. UPDATE: Below you'll see it says they'll have someone reach out, that someone was the unprofessional doctor that was rude in the first place. I got some pathetic juvenile excuse from him saying "oh I just meant cause your hair is too heavy for your neck". Complete BS. These people are incredibly unprofessional from the front desk to the doctors. The care itself is average. Don't bother coming here.

    Good idea for a business, but very annoyed by the constant reaching out from this place after only 1 visit. An email or phone call every day trying to get you back in. Feels like they care more about getting your money as quick as possible than they do about working on to make you better. Not going back most likely

    I know what you're thinking from reading other reviews.. no appointments? The wait times must be ridiculous. I thought the same thing. Um, no. 4 out of the 5 times I've been to a "Joint Chiropractic", I was seen within 3 minutes. The only time was on a Saturday (understandable) and it was the first time I went. The staff/front desk here is friendly and the chiropractors themselves are awesome (and licensed!) and they definitely don't mess around. You are seen and sent on your way.. It's strangely wonderful and I can totally understand it with the workload they deal with daily. I am in and out within 5 minutes on average. All in all, 5 stars. They're quick and efficient at what they do. Needless to say, I'm going to stay a subscriber.

    I went to this place to get a pain in my back looked at, I explained my symptoms and shared the diagnosis of a few trainers with the Chiropractor before the adjustment, where i explained it seemed more muscular than skeletal. I asked if getting an adjustment was the right course of action, and whether it was beneficial to my particular case, to which a firm "yes" was communicated. This was my first time getting an adjustment, and there were a few things that caught me off guard. (1). There was little/no body review before jumping right into cracking my back. We just looked at my chart i filled out, and reviewed the anatomy of the spine on a skeleton (description of the nerves coming out of the spinal column were said to be the autonomic nervous system... I believe he meant to say "Peripheral Nervous System", maybe i'm wrong). (2) it was fast, very fast. It was around 5min total for the adjustment (sat longer in the waiting room than this). (3). More of a recommendation, really need to communicate to the patient that you need to relax and reset after each adjustment. I was told 1-2 times about breathing in and out when laying on my stomach, but when my neck was adjusted, I was mid-breath intake (least relaxed position) when he adjusted my neck. I can 100% see how something can go very wrong. Did i feel relieved, sure. It's like cracking your knuckles, they feel good afterwards, i didn't feel like a new person and ready to tackle the world. Is chiropractic adjustments for everyone, no. I recommend people who are stiff and identify spinal pain, NOT muscular pain, to visit a chiropractor. The graph they showed me at the end basically summarized that if i didn't receive more adjustments (3 first 2 weeks, 2 next 2 weeks, 1 next 2 weeks), i would soon go back to feeling pain. I have my doubts on this, but that's an opinion. Again, I asked in the beginning if this particular treatment was right given my symptoms and communication. It kinda seemed a little bit like they were telling me i had a chronic condition that i'll need adjustments forever, and if i didn't, i'd have pain. At the end of the day, they were very nice and courteous to me, but i highly recommend someone with back pain to first get a few opinions from a hands on physical therapist who can help determine skeletal vs. muscular, and then visit a chiropractor like this place.

    Best. Dr Mack is a healer with talent and technique. Very enjoyable office visit. Never sure what I'm going to find away from home but would love to be a regular here. Amazed at the level of care on a walk-in basis during my travels. Not all chiropractors are the same and here's the right one.

    Waste of time and money. I crack my own back better than they do. You sit in the waiting room longer than you're on the table getting "adjusted", which I only waited about 5 mins. They do not check out your back before they start popping they just look at your file and go oh pain here ok let me crack you three times and send you on your way. Because of my schedule for work I can never get over there in time because they are only open 10-7 which is also my work schedule and they are closed sun, one of my days off. So that leaves me with one day a week I can go to get..."adjusted". And to top it off I've only been "adjusted" twice and ever since my first visit my back and neck pain are more than they ever have been. All in all I am extremely disappointed And won't ever be back even tho I paid for a whole month used two days and have 4 free visit cards left
