What do you think of when somebody says you should add more self-care into your daily routine? Do you picture indulgent days at the spa, the bubbliest of baths, and decadent meals at fancy restaurants? If so, you may be cutting yourself short. Although those experiences certainly are incredible, self-care doesn't have to be so luxurious or expensive. In fact, it really doesn't have to cost anything at all! Take a look at some really good ideas on how you can add more self-care to your days while keeping your money in the bank.
Cook More
Don't like cooking or feel like you are too busy to shop? We've all been there, but remember, those fast-food meals aren't doing your body any good! Cooking at home is one of the best ways to take care of yourself. You get to control the ingredients and can monitor the portion sizes much better than you could with eating out.
Take Yourself Out
Do you like to get out of your house every now and then but don't because you will be alone? Well, it's time to change that! If you don't like to eat alone in a restaurant or sit by yourself at the movie theater, order your favorite takeout and head to a local park with a book or bring it home for a night of Netflix. Doing something you enjoy is a great way to practice self-love.
Organize Your Home
Self-care isn't always about relaxing or having fun. Sometimes it's about getting your life in order, and there is no better way to do that than to clear out the clutter. Take an afternoon to sort through that pile of mail on your kitchen table, donate the clothes you haven't worn in years, and if you are really feeling adventurous, head out to your garage and start digging! It may be a long process, but the end result will be very satisfying.

Instead of counting your calories, why don't you start focusing on how much color is in your diet? Foods that are rich in color are generally rich in nutrients too, so start adding more of them to your meals. From deep greens to bright yellows to beautiful blues and reds, the colors you choose will enhance your meals in more ways than you can count! Did you ever think self-care could be so colorful?
