In the early 1980’s, he specialized in soft-tissue injuries and became the Director of the largest massage school in Los Angeles, authored several articles on advanced soft-tissue injuries and therapies for industry publications, and lectured at national conferences.
In 1994, Dr. Lee graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College, Los Angeles, and opened a chiropractic office in Toluca Lake. Seeing a need for active self-care for patients, he also opened a yoga studio nearby in Burbank.

1 5 1I've been going to The Joint Valencia for about 8 months now and I usually have pretty good experiences when I visit, the staff and Dr.'s knows me and it's always pleasant interactions, but my visit today was just horrible. I usually see Dr. Vanderhyde, but he's been on leave for a couple months (understandably so), so I saw Dr. Roger today. Wrong move. This man was very rude, unprofessional and condescending and his adjustments were awful. He left the right side of my neck feeling more sore than when I came in. Upon walking to the back I received no greeting from him. I actually greeted him once, got ignored, waited another few seconds and I greeted him again and that's is when he started talking about people complaining about him. I don't know what his issue was with me, but I didn't appreciate it at all. Do better.

1 5 1I have been receiving chiropractic care my entire adult life and believe that it is helpful but my experience here the last time was terrible. I saw Dr. Aaron Schoneberger last Friday 11/4 for a mid back/neck adjustment. Afterward, I did not feel back relief but started to feel serious chest pain. I gave it a few days because I thought it may just be a side effect of the adjustment (Google said that may be the case) but it felt worse and worse. When it was unbearable, I went to urgent care on Tuesday 11/8. They ruled out all possible heart problems because that's what it feels like, and fractures then stated that the chiropractic treatment most likely caused chest cartilage/ligament damage due to excessive pressure being used during my adjustment. Today is 11/12 and I still have serious pain and the doctor says it will take two weeks to one month for me to feel better. The only treatment for this is ibuprofen and heat on the chest. I called The Joint and explained the problem and left a message for the doctor but he never even cared enough to call me back. Please do not go here!

1 5 1Most of doctors are good but lately there had been a lot of transition going on. We have a regular subscription so we go religiously. We had gone a few times only to find out the office is closed or there is no doctor in. After going of our way from a busy schedule this is unacceptable and this is not once or twice that it happened. It happened a few times and have been happening too frequent lately. I don’t even know why they can’t send out a mass text to all their clients saying there is no doctor-other The Joint branches would do that. Even when you call their phones it won’t say office is closed but they’re away from their desk. I think they need to fix this or they will continue to lose patrons.

2 5 1I referred a friend today and although they did not see Dr Fish (I love Dr Fish) they were very happy with the Dr on duty. With that said the front desk person was RUDE! They are new to the area, new to regular chiropractic visits and new to the joint so they took advantage of the introductory rate for the first visit. The person at the front desk was pushing them to purchase a package and when they were reluctant she went on and on about how they just wasted their time! This is not how you get new clientele, esp in the current state of the world. No one wants to part with good $ for bad service. I’m disappointed. 2 stars because they did feel the dr was knowledgeable.
