Without your health, everything about your life suffers. So how can we live a good life of good health and happiness? It's all about the small choices. To get you pointed in the right direction, take a look at these three tips to start using today.

Choose Water

Water is king. The earth is made mostly of water. Our bodies are made mostly of water. It's no wonder that drinking plenty of water improves health significantly. But unfortunately, most of us don't drink nearly enough water. We're too busy with sodas and frappes and smoothies. If you want one easy step toward better health, start by drinking more water every single day. It won't be long until you notice a few positive side effects -- clear skin, easy digestion, weight loss -- that makes drinking more water appealing and easy.

Eliminate Toxins

We're surrounded by toxins every day. Don't worry though. You don't have to do any extreme detox or eat a diet made of organic juice. All you really need to do is pay attention. Don't buy foods that are obviously full of waste -- fast food, junk food, processed foods. Buy as much fresh and organic as possible. Try to drink filtered water. Buy skin products that aren't packed full of toxin ingredients. This will take a little research in the beginning, but as you understand the science behind what you're putting in and on your body, you'll be shocked at how easy it is to minimize the load. 

Choose Yourself

You have to put yourself first sometimes. Why? Because if you put yourself first, everything else will still get done. You won't forget about your family or your work. You'll still get it done. But if you put yourself first, then you'll be adding yourself to the mix. Choosing yourself helps you maintain balance, eliminate negativity, and lower emotional and physical stress. It's OK to put yourself first sometimes, so do it.
