Doc Monica was great but unfortunately she was not connected with the joint chiropractor when I came back. So it was Doc Pam who attended to me and I don’t have a problem with her BUT the lady at front desk was not competent in explaining the charges. Doc Pam suggested 8 sessions with one session per week that’s why I chose to take 8 sessions and paid advance $139 at once for me not to forget paying for it. Then it happens that the sessions I paid in advance was only good for one month which never explained to me by the front desk lady. Then after a month I was charge another fee of $89 and got an email saying that it’s for another 4 session, saying that the previous sessions I paid was already expired. Telling me that it was in the contract I filled out. Isn’t it supposed to be the responsibility of the front desk to explain what the package is all about? This is such a horrible outright cheating on patients. With doc Monica before and her front desk assistant, they both would explain thoroughly what the plan is. That is the reason why I went back. WITH IS I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. The payment ? Take it as donation for you since you are so greedy. Karma will run after you.

I reached out to the owner & they refuse to refund the reoccurring $79 that was taken from my account without permission. After filling out the paperwork for my first visit. I was waiting for the only chiropractor on duty to finish up with a patient when a woman walked in and convinced the receptionist to put her next in line in front of me because I was new and it would take longer. I now understand this is the way these folks do business. Made me feel a little like I was in line at taco bell and someone snuck to the front of the line while no one was looking. Guess you get what you pay for. Cheaper obviously is not better. Ever!!! Before you say "as the owner" you hold your employees to the highest of standards you might want to do a little costumer service refresher at this location. You truly get what you pay. I hope you have better luck than I did.

Buyer beware. They are all about selling plans and the devil is in the details. My husband purchased a 10 visit plan. He was told since he was a member he could come in anytime and without an appointment. He went in a couple times and couldn’t be seen for various reasons. I went to the joint in Deland in the publix shopping center. I never heard anything crack or felt anything. They told me I would be sore the next day so not to come back until the day after set me up on a whole schedule of three times this week two times next week and then once a week after that today, I feel just like I did yesterday. Margaret is the rudest receptionist I’ve ever come into contact with at an establishment. I wrote a great review a few weeks ago and I had to unfortunately delete it. Im not sure of her name but the chiropractor that did my adjustment was friendly, seemed very knowledgeable, and I felt a noticeable difference after. They were not pushy about the memberships which I really liked. I’ll definitely be coming back

Our experience with The Joint Chiropractic Located in Deland is not the best, Back in September 2025, we walk in into this location cause I wanted my self to get adjusted and I wanted my husband to try out cause his job is strenuous as a Automotive Technician and he always complain, anyways that saturday around 1:15 we walk in and we got greeted and welcome, after couple min the young lady at front desk talking with us, the lady from the back walks and tell the front desk that she can only see one of us cause is saturday and they closed early and they where not taking new clients. Anyways so I decided my self to let my husband do it. Cause he was in pain, so everything went well they let me go with him cause was no one else there apart of the front desk, the Chiropractic and us, less than 15 min and he is done he said he felt good. At front they give us a offer that with the session that he had and 4 more to used from a whole month it would be $79 but he need to signed up for two months contract after thay he can keep it if he wants to, so while taking i convince my husband to do it and I did make sure with the front desk that my husband, after make sure that the lady from front desk confirms to both of us that we don't need appointments we don't need to call that we just show up and he can be seen cause he is now a member. That he needed to come by weekly so he can notice the difference so, yes we signed up. We'll we did us we got told, we show up a Tuesday around 5: 25 pm cause I explain the front desk that the only time he can come and get adjusted was around that time and it was no problem and no need to do appointments or nothing just show. We'll we did so the first week and first time around 5:25 , I decide to go with him so he feels comfortable, hubby was happy, we walked in and there where like 3 people in the lobby area, so that day was a different person( a male front desk) and I told him that husband was there for a adjustment, as the chiropractor recommended to do and that's why we paid for, and he told us that No ,that husband can be seen that day cause they where doing treatments, that have to be another day, so that was out first interaction after he signed up and we got told we don't need appointments. He even offer us another session cause yhe inconvenience , we'll husband try next week same thing, this time he went by himself and was another 4 people ( 3 adults and a kid) so my husband said when he saw them he turn and went back to his car and went home. After those two interaction My husband paid $79 for first month and we got charge the other $79 for second month cause we sign a contract of something that we got told and is completely different as when they want you to sign up. So at the end we paid $158 for a adjustment that lasted less than 15 min cause the other times he try to used he couldn't so he got disappointed and never went back. There is no way to get the money for those two months now o we'll what can we do ,is so frustrating so it happens that third month came and we got charged another $79 same day of charge husband call and explain his situation and that the other two months they charged him without used and they don't rollover or transfer so he lost it, and now the third month that was charge 2 days ago can't be refundable and that he have two used the 4 services this is ridiculous. Are you serious if the first two he wasn't able now you saying that the third wich is not a contract can't not be refundable. No you guys lost two clients and we are very disappointed cause I was planning to get the services but after seeing husband going trough this forget it.

Well I was hoping to be seen but first impressions didnt sit well with me. I havent met the doctor(s) but the girl I talked to on the phone to make my appt was rude. I was trying to get in to DeLand location, she answered the phone, "Joint Chiropractic Port Orange" so I questioned if it was DeLand or Port Orange and she had an attitude and said, "Um, DeLand" and made me.feel bad for just asking a question. I also felt rushed when asking questions. I was hoping to get in with this office because its conveniently located but I guess I will find somewhere else due to the lack of professionalism with whom I scheduled on the phone with and poor phone etiquacy. =(

I have been loving chiropractors my whole life. I am 68 years old and in good shape physically I think because of chiropractors. I fell behind in maintenance and started hurting on certain parts of my body. Still working and not having time to schedule appointments things just got worse. I have had really bad neck pain for like 10 years or so and this is the only place that has helped with it! I signed up for the membership and enjoyed the flexibility of going two locations, Deland and Port Orange. My concern has been poor communication. The docs give instructions to follow up but it's not communicated to the receptionist who read the notes and communicate something totally different. I've been overcharged two times. The last straw is when I canceled due to not being in the this summer, I was told by Deland receptionist that I had two more visits I could still use. I went to the Port Orange location and was told that I only had 1 visit left and I had to have used it by 5/25/25. She shared that's what is in the notes and they can't help me. I had planned on signing up again when I return home in August, but I think I'll go to a chiropractor now. Disappointed Karen!

I went to The Joint Chiropractic in DeLand a few weeks ago for the $29 special. While I was there the Dr. Told me that they really needed to see me several more times. He said that he would give me 6 more visits for A TOTAL OF $108 that day. I was like, wow that's awesome. I went to pay at desk, and the young guy there said to sign the CC screen. I had already mentioned in doing the initial paperwork on my phone that I didn't have my glasses. Fast forward 2 weeks and imagine my shock to see an auto debit for $79. At no time, did I see that I was signing up for a membership, nor did anybody there say anything about it. I called the office and spoke with Margaret, and told her that I would like to cancel the membership and receive a refund and explained the situation. She was quite rude and had the nerve to ask me if I knew how to read! My response was, I'm sorry that is a very rude comment and terribly customer service! I explained I did not have my glasses at the time and that I would just like a refund. She was adamant that would not happen. So I asked for her manager, who she said was not available. I then proceeded to go visit the office. And once again, try and explain that I did not realize that I had signed up for a membership because nobody had mentioned it. She once again, stated that I should have read the paperwork and stated her manager had already been spoken to and that he refused to refund any money. My suggestion is make sure if you go there that you know what you're signing up for And take your glasses! The most unprofessional treatment at a medical office I have ever received!

I went to the Joint yesterday with pain on a scale of 1-10, I was at a 10. The Dr that saw me was great, she relieved my pain and when I left she told me to come two more times this week and 3 times next week. She said there were notes in my file and no mater who I saw they would know my concerns and would continue treatment as planned. I arrived today to find a different Dr on duty, I described my pain and what the Dr had done yesterday, I was told that it sounded muscular and there was nothing he could do. He suggested I see a massage therapist. He did a couple adjustments and did work on my problem area, but the treatment today was nothing like the treatment yesterday. I was do back 6 more times for treatment, but unless I could see the same Dr who treated me initially I don't see any need in returning, I am considering looking for a different chiropractor. The Joint has worked for me until this time when I had sever pain, and the inconsistency in care did not help.

Dr. Carlos is, by far, the best chiropractic technician i have had the privilege of meeting in my 50 years of staying healthy, with chiropractic care. I served 17 years as a ju-jitsu instructor, overlapped with 50 years building new homes. this was physically very demanding on my body. I know chiropractors quite well. Great chiropractor however they NEED a second doctor. The wait has SIGNIFICANTLY increased since starting here last year. I used to be in and out less than 10 minutes. The past 5-6 times it’s a wait of 30-45 minutes! I will be considering moving to a new location OR canceling until they can get adequate amount of doctors in this location.

This location was good until they hired their current head chiropractor, Pam. I had been going since the opening, and have used locations in Oviedo, Winter Park, and Lake Mary since 2016. She does not know what she's doing and doesn't listen to the patient and their needs. I had to go to Lake Mary to get relief because she didn't listen. She also worked on me without sanitizing her hands directly after adjusting the previous client's feet. Furthermore, they tried to suppress my Google review. Despite living nearby, I drive all the way to Lake Mary to avoid this location now. I'll go back when they hire a different chiropractor. I've been receiving chiropractic care since 1995.

I am definitely a chiropractic care advocate. I usually only need help maybe once or twice a year. But this past week, my back/neck told me it was time. This place is very convenient. Once you've gone through the initial setup you can walk in, no appointment and you're in and out in minutes. I was worried that the chiropractor who saw me wouldn't be able to adjust me like I prefer because she's on the smaller side and I'm 6.2", 250 lbs....I was very wrong. Dr. Monica folded me up like it was nothing ?

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!! everytime I tried to find a chiropractor. They wanted to go thru all of these questions and look you over and tell you all these things gs you don't need. I went in told the my problem and she did a quick exam. Then an adjustment. I will definitely be back next week for another adjustment

Dr. Monica gave me an adjustment that immediately relieved head pain and nausea I had had for a week! Their pricing is amazing. I am normally skeptical of chain stores but there were no unpleasant surprises, the front desk staff is laid-back and honest, and the Dr that helped me was professional.

Dr. Monica is the best. She has done so much for my back pain. I can walk vertical because of her. She has tried a few different ideas on me and they have all been successful in helping. I went there for a visit last week and saw Dr .Monica. She did an excellent adjustment! She even freed an "impinged" nerve that no other doctor has been able to take care for over 20 years! Such relief! I will defintely go back there.
