Dr. Natasha Musser was born and raised in northwest Ohio and has been living in Florida for 13 years. Growing up in her stepfather’s chiropractic office allowed her to learn about the power of the human body to heal, and at the age of 12 she chose to become a chiropractor. She attended the University of Toledo and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. She then went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida campus where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and was valedictorian of her class. Dr. Natasha has been serving the Jacksonville area for 10 years, is Webster Certified and has a passion for adjusting pregnant women and their children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, practicing yoga and studying consciousness.
Dr. Matt Shields is originally from Saginaw, Michigan, and attended Anderson University in Indiana where he received his bachelor's degree. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he spent 11 years as a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer in Jacksonville, Florida. His time completing extensive training and operating helicopters culminated with two overseas deployments, multiple missions, and over 1,200 flight hours.
It also, however, led him to experience a lot of aches and pains that come with utilizing a heavy flight helmet and vest, night vision goggles, and less-than-optimal seats. He experienced chiropractic care while on active duty and experienced the difference it made with his overall health and well-being. This introduced him to the healing power of the human body and what true conservative care looks like.
Upon receiving an honorable discharge from the Navy, his positive experience with chiropractic led him to pursue a chiropractic degree. He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida, and graduated in 2021. Along with all the traditional chiropractic experience and skills, Dr. Shields also utilizes a special technique called Torque Release Technique (TRT). He is certified with an 'Advanced Proficiency' and was also awarded "Fellow" of Holder Research Institute for his contributions in teaching TRT to other doctors and students while in school.
In his free time, Dr. Shields loves spending time with his three sons and considers himself a lifelong learner, gleaming knowledge and experience wherever he goes. He also enjoys all forms of exercise, beach days, fishing and watching the Jacksonville Jaguars
