Dr. Fred Gibson is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida Campus.
He has been part of the Central Florida Community from the age of 10 being an active participant of sports, community ,and school events. He pursued his dream of being a Chiropractor at the age of 15 after experiencing his own Chiropractic benefits and the amazing results achieved.He tailored his education to best fit his future goals and aspirations. He attended Seminole State College where he received his A.A. in Health Sciences and Athletic Training, then proceeded to Daytona State College to complete his Bachelor of Applied Science and Business Management and Supervision.
Upon receiving his undergraduate degree,Dr. Gibson began his journey through a rigorous program at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange Florida. While there he focused his extra time outside the classroom perfecting his skill as a representative and officer for The Motion Palpation Institute, as well as the Palmer Soft Tissue Club where he learned some of the latest evidence based techniques to treat patients and mastering those techniques to teach other students. All with the loving support of his wife and children.
Dr. Gibson spent a year in Tallahassee, Florida as the clinic director of a new private practice where Dr. Gibson treated all different types of patients from athletes, newborn babies, pregnant mommies, as well as patients of all age. Dr. Gibson learned and practiced new corrective care techniques, as well as spending his time outside the office volunteering at the Tallahassee Teen Challenge Center to build relationships and adjust the members to help them and bring Relief of their Pain through Routine Chiropractic Care..
Dr. Gibson and his family returned to their home town of Casselberry to reconnect with family, friends, and community of the Orlando area, as well as raise their 3 children.
Dr. Gibson is very excited to be a part of The Joint Chiropractic team in Dr. Phillips, Orlando.
Dr. Luis Feliu is a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Greater Orlando, Florida where he helps people reconnect with their bodies, so that they may perform at their highest level in all areas of their lives. He was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he attended the School of Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico. He then had a life changing experience being introduced to chiropractic which made him change careers. Dr. Luis graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2008.
While in chiropractic school Dr. Luis was part of an international chiropractic student organization that took him to Melbourne, Australia and Johannesburg, South Africa. He also had the chance to serve on a chiropractic mission to El Salvador. Since graduating in 2008, Dr. Luis has practiced in California, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and now Florida.
Dr. Luis is very passionate about music. He enjoys spending time with his beautiful daughter, playing percussion and guitar. He played with a band in Hawaii, with who he toured through California in 2014 and 2015.
Dr. Tyson Devereux is a chiropractor in the Orlando area. He was born in Boise, Idaho where he grew up and attended Boise State University for his undergrad. Dr. Devereux studied chiropractic at Parker University in Dallas, TX where he graduated in 2012. He has served in his community where ever he has practiced, including Idaho, North Carolina and now Florida.
Dr. Devereux pursued chiropractic as a career due to a passion to serve and help people be well. He learned from his step-father and mentor what it means to be of dedicated service in this profession. Dr. Devereux also served a two-year church mission in the south Florida area where he learned to serve and love all people. It is his mission to give of himself, his training and understanding of the body and health to each patient. He values chiropractic care to help the body as a whole to heal holistically and naturally as it was intended to. He has experienced the benefits of chiropractic in his own life and has witnessed the benefits it has brought to his wife and each of his kids.
Dr. Devereux lives in the Orlando area with his wife and 4 kids. He is often spending his free time with his family. They enjoy going to the parks, getting out to the beach or walking their dogs. He also enjoys watching movies and trying different foods. Dr. Devereux loves sports, a big die-hard Boise State Bronco, and cheers for the Miami Heat and San Francisco 49ers.
Dr. Price grew up in central Florida and then graduated from Mississippi College with honors in 2006 with a degree in biological science. He continued his education at Parker College of Chiropractic Dallas graduating in 2010. He has a passion for people and is grateful to use chiropractic as a tool to help people live more pain free and better quality lives.
Dr. Price and enjoys helping both young and elite athletes reach their maximal potential by keeping the body in balance through chiropractic adjustments. Dr. Price’s first experience with chiropractic was in high school where chiropractic care helped him recover from a sports injury. That experience led Dr. Price to pursue becoming a chiropractor with a special interest in helping athletes compete at their best.
Outside of chiropractic Dr. Price is a proud husband and father to 3 kids. He has a special interest in severe weather and enjoys the outdoors. When not practicing Dr. Price spends his time fishing and scuba diving, or taking the kids to Disney.

Dr. Michaelene Callahan, is originally from Saratoga Springs, NY. She relocated to Florida after owning a practice in New Jersey for over 15 years. She concentrates on treating the body globally through spine adjustments, corrective exercises and functional nutrition.
Growing up, Dr. Callahan loved sports-a passion that eventually led her to chiropractic. While snowboarding at the age of 19, Dr. Callahan experienced a broken vertebra in her neck.
After having a constant headache for 4 months, Dr. Callahan sought out a chiropractor for relief. After the first adjustment, her headache dissipated. A few adjustments later, it was gone. She credits regular adjustments for keeping her active.
In her free time, Dr. Callahan likes to surf, snowboard, go to the gym, be with her dogs, garden and travel.
Nakia R. Pinkney, BS, DC, a 2017 graduate of Life University College of Chiropractic, joined The Joint Chiropractic team January 2020. She is a South Carolina native and attended the University of South Carolina, Aiken where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in biology.
Dr. Pinkney’s passion for chiropractic and caring for patients can be seen in both the Dr. Phillips and Windermere locations. She believes that chiropractic care is a way for patients to take an active role in their health and live high quality lives. She has seen the fascinating miracles the human body can perform when it is functioning properly. Dr. Pinkney’s role as a chiropractor is to remove interferences from the body so that it can work to its fullest potential. This is made possible by making specific adjustments to the body’s joints and educating each person about ways to improve their wellbeing.
In her spare time, Dr. Pinkney can be found listening to apple music, relaxing, working out in the gym, or watching basketball games. March Madness is her favorite!
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. Pinkney is a basketball fanatic. She grew up taking an active role in the Orangeburg, SC community and found her love for basketball at age 7. She had the privilege of playing for her local middle and high school basketball teams, playing on a traveling AAU team, and receiving a 4 year basketball and academic scholarship at the University of South Carolina, Aiken.
Dr. Tamika Sims was born in the town of Fort Pierce, Florida, where she resided until she headed off to college. Dr. Sims attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education/Sports Science. While in school, she worked as a student athletic trainer for both University of North Carolina and North Carolina Central University. She later worked in fields such as education, orthopedics, massage therapy and physical therapy.
After several years of suffering from various musculoskeletal problems herself and not finding relief or a solution, Dr. Sims finally decided to seek alternative care. She decided to see a local chiropractor that she was referred to by her co-worker. She initially went in to see him for mid-back pain and tension. To her surprise, he was able to provide a solution for the hip, knee and foot pain in which she suffered for so long.
After receiving her first chiropractic adjustment, all of the musculoskeletal problems that she had been dealing with had gone away. She then began to do research on the field and within a month she was heading off to Chiropractic College. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic in March of 2009 from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC.
Dr. Sims has an unwavering passion for helping people. She is determined to educate as many people as she can about the benefits of chiropractic so they can experience a positive change in their quality of life. She is a firm believer that it is not about how you feel, but how you function.
