The Joint at Town Park would like to introduce Dr. Ian Scott, from the suburbs of Philadelphia. Dr. Scott has an interest in acupuncture, functional medicine and functional neurology. He is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. He has certifications in acupuncture and electrodiagnosis and is currently working on a diplomate in functional neurology at the Carrick Institute. Dr. Scott lives in central Florida with his wife and two kids, Evelyn, age 9, and Ethan, age 6. He enjoys playing guitar, cycling, gardening and spending time with his family and pets.
Dr. Brooks Saunders saw the power of chiropractic & how it personally helped him in 2010. Shortly before returning for his senior year in undergraduate college & kicking off soccer in the fall, he sprained his ankle while working in his hometown, Key West, Florida. After an adjustment to the injured ankle along with supplementation & other treatment, he returned for his senior year ready to play. It was at this point he became intrigued with chiropractic medicine and decided to pursue it as a career.
Dr. Saunders’ passion for health began at an early age. Ever since he can remember, he was into eating healthy & being physically active. In addition, he has a history as an athlete and ever since the age of five has played soccer. He still enjoys playing to this day.
When he’s not in office, he enjoys reading research put out for the field of chiropractic medicine and just about anything related to living a healthy lifestyle. It’s his goal to educate patients on making smart choices for their health overall.
He is dedicated toward exercise & nutrition and how keeping both of these in balance can make someone feel 110%. Whether it’s someone who is just starting an exercise regimen or someone who just needs to fine-tune some of the things in their diet, Dr. Saunders will come up with a plan to help his patients on their journey to optimum health.
He enjoys living in Winter Park and looks forward to homeownership in the near future. To stay physically fit, Dr. Saunders enjoys high-intensity interval training & plays in the Central Florida Soccer League.
