Meet The Doctors
Dr. Desiree Oliviere, a nationally board-certified chiropractor, is a doctor at Washington Crossing in Augusta, GA.
Dr. Oliviere was born into a military family in Fort Bragg, NC. She was raised in Augusta, GA after her father retired at Fort Gordon. Having attended Life University in Marietta, GA, she received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and has been practicing for the past decade. She has a sister that is retired from the USAF and a brother that works as an engineer at Plant Vogtle.
Dr. Oliviere takes great care of her patients. She loves when her patients tell her they now have the ability to do something they haven’t been able to do prior to their adjustment because of their pain. Over the course of her professional journey, Dr. Oliviere has learned to treat a variety of patients ranging from infants, athletes, to grandparents with a range of cases such as sciatica pain, neck pain, lower back pain and migraines. Dr. Oliviere finds her passion in continuing to educate the Augusta community of the benefits of chiropractic care and the wellness that comes with a routinely adjusted spine.
Dr. Oliviere enjoys spending time with her young son in her free time as well as traveling, cooking, and exercising.
Dr. Djolic (Doctor Dan) grew up in Former Yugoslavia, the son of a surgeon and university professor. He moved to the United States at the age of 21. While at undergraduate studies at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey he learned about chiropractic from a new friend. Doctor Dan always knew he wanted to be in Healthcare and help people and immediately visited several Chiropractors in the area and was overwhelmed by the overall caring natures of the doctors. Impressed by the way they only wanted to treat their patients naturally, he started on his own journey to better understand true health. After attending Life University, College of Chiropractic, Doctor Dan eventually settled in Aiken, South Carolina and started a successful practice there and since opened practices in Grovetown, Georgia and St. Petersburg, Florida. He acquired The Joint clinics in Augusta and Evans, Georgia and is thrilled to be working alongside chiropractors who share his dedication to family chiropractic and spine health. When not working, Doctor Dan enjoys riding his motorcycle or spending time with his wife and two school-age children.
Dr. Robert Lane Martin, known as “Dr. Lane” to his patients, is originally from the Augusta, Georgia area. At one time, Dr. Lane was looking for a career change. He read a book called, “What Color is Your Parachute” and it had a quiz in the end to see what career might be a good fit for the reader. One of the fits for him was Chiropractic. The idea of helping people with their pain and overall health appealed to him. So he went back to college and, after completing required perquisites, he was accepted at Life University in Marietta, GA in 1995. He has worked in the Atlanta area for the last several years and in 2019 he returned to practice at the Joint Chiropractic at our Washington Crossing and Mullins Crossing locations. Dr. Lane is passionate about chiropractic’s ability to improve a person’s quality of life and he is excited to help patients achieve and maintain the phase of regular maintenance care. When not caring for patients, Dr. Lane enjoys listening to music and playing his guitar.
