Meet The Doctors
Dr. Anthony Calabro, or Dr. C, as he prefers to be called, was born in Buffalo, NY. He grew up in Brown City, MI playing three sports during his high school years. His love for helping others stemmed from his earlier years at Michigan State University in 2013 when he decided to change majors from Engineering to Kinesiology (Exercise Science). It was during a Career Fair about a year later where he met a Chiropractor who allowed him to intern over the summer of 2014. Working in that office is when he knew that Chiropractic was the field for him. “Seeing incredible changes after one adjustment and watching doctors change lives day-in and day-out lit a spark inside of me that set me on a path to become a Chiropractor.” Dr. Calabro spent the rest of his undergraduate years working at local Chiropractic offices in Lansing, MI in between classes until graduating in 2017.
After graduating from Michigan State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, he furthered his understanding of the human body and attended Life University in Marietta, GA shortly after; graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2021.
He joined The Joint Chiropractic team in 2021, initially working part-time at the Vinings location. In June of 2023, he joined the team in Cobb County as a coverage doctor; spear-heading the Sandy Plains location for about a year until eventually becoming the Clinic Director of the Austell location in April of 2024.
Dr. Calabro loves being able to educate his patients on the power of body, stating “showing people the healing power they have within them, all while doing so in a family-oriented atmosphere that is comfortable and relaxed,” is his favorite thing about the Chiropractic profession.
Dr. Calabro and his wife, Lauren, reside nearby in Mableton, GA with their chihuahua, Milo. In his free time, he enjoys quality time with his wife going on hikes, watching sports, taking care of his house plants, and playing cornhole. When asked about his clinic and his patients, he states “I have a passion for providing quality, affordable and convenient Chiropractic care to the hard-working people of Georgia. Getting to know Austell and the surrounding communities is something I really look forward to.”
